We went on a Friday at around 6 pm, and I will say that it was EXTREMELY busy. I think there was an event going on for football or around the area so it was crowded. We still decided to wait because we made the trip for this place. It was about a 30 minute wait, when they decided to offer an outside seat. We accepted, and we were the only ones outside most likely because it was freezing outside. Our waiter did not come out for another 20 minutes, which we thought they forgot about us at this point. He came out and we ordered right away for the crab wontons and a Thai tea. After a long time we received our food, which I understood was because they were busy but still. The Thai tea was extremely sweet, unbearably sweet. I decided to ask them if there's a way to make it less sweet and they said that there's no way and they could only add more cream. I asked to take it off because it was hard to drink. If you don't like sweet drinks, I don't recommend the Thai tea at all. The crab wontons were good but they were cold, which was a little disappointing. After another 30 minutes we got the chicken Pad Thai and Pad kee Mao. Both were very hot and delicious, we got it at a medium spice level, which was perfect because it would have been too spicy otherwise. They never checked up on us after. We waited for a long time after finishing and nobody came out so we went in and asked for the box and a check. The food was fine, but I was disappointed in the Thai tea and the service. Yes I know they are busy and I understand, but to throw us outside and forget about us was really disappointing. The only thing I'd rate lower is the avocado rolls, which seemed to be a ton of vegetable greens and some avocado slices stuffed in a rice paper roll that was loosely wrapped and open on both sides. My experience with Asian cuisine in Moscow has never been great, but I love supporting any local small business nonetheless! We actually ended up here on a Sunday night after Maialina was busy with a 90 minute wait. We called Suchada's around 7pm to see if they could fit a group of six, and they could! The ambience was great for groups- not too loud and decent amount of seating. The menu is standard for a lot of Thai restaurants I've been to- a mixture of noodle dishes, rice dishes, and curries with choice of protein. I was surprised to see pho (Vietnamese) on the menu. My husband has celiac, and it was easy for him to choose, as the menu was labeled for gluten-free. Although vegetarian/vegan options are not labeled, the staff seemed knowledgable about any questions brought up, and the options are fairly intuitive as all the dishes have descriptions of ingredients used (curry pastes, egg, etc.). We ordered fried tofu as an appetizer. My husband got the scallop pho, and I ordered four star (max spiciness) yellow curry with tofu. It seemed like we waited a fairly long time for our food, but that might have been because we were a larger party. Other than that, the service was great and the restaurant didn't rush us even though they were technically closed by the time we got our food. We did not finish until about an hour after their closing time. As far as taste, I enjoyed my food and was pleased with the high spice level. My critique would be the rice to curry ratio- there could have been a lot more rice served. I ended up with leftover curry broth after eating the leftovers. The portions are HUGE! Even the taller men in our party took home leftovers. I initially thought the dishes were pricy for Moscow (at $20 an entree), but each dish is probably enough for three meals if you order it for yourself and don't eat family style. Definitely a great place to share various meals with others! My husbands pho was fine as a rice noodle soup, though it didn't remind me of the Vietnamese pho I am used to. The building is quaint and the food yummy. I have tried many different dishes but have landed on the Massaman curry, which is really great. Large portions alllw for lunch leftovers. Their Thai iced tea is a must for us. It's just always been a favorite in our small town. read more

First of all, the food is great! This was surprising to us for the middle of the Palouse. The servers are all very nice, helpful and attentive. The problem is that Suchada prioritizes take out orders to customers eating in. We waited an hour for our food, and so did another table in the restaurant. The best way to resolve this issue is to have the wait staff tell people calling in for take out orders that the kitchen is too busy for take out orders at this time. This way the customers who come in to eat are not waiting an hour for their food when it gets busy. Perhaps Suchada should consider hiring a prep cook and another server too. This waiting too long seems to now be a frequent problem. If this continues, she will lose a lot of customers. read more

Suchada's Thai Cuisine was a great experience. This Thai cuisine is right next to slice which is a perfect match if you want to try some great beer and then head next door for some Thai food which is what I did! The atmosphere was really nice but seating is very limited. The Thai Ice tea was very good! I had duck curry which was good. Some critiques, The duck meat pieces were too large and I would prefer them sliced with the curry. All in all I give the curry six out of 10 but I am a curry critic. My son and his girlfriend ordered two pad tai dishes and I ordered a veggie and tofu ramen dish. It took an hour to get the food because they forgot about us. I got pad Thai noodles slathered in peanut sauce with undercooked tofu. I decided to just eat it because it took so long. There were no veggies and in the middle the noodles were over cooked and all stuck together in a big glob. I finally took it back to another waitress and told her I didn't want them because they weren't ramen noodles and she argued that they were ramen noodles (they definitely weren't). My sons' girlfriend's pad Thai was overly sweet and she ended up ordering pizza next door. Only one of us was happy with their meal. The noodles should be cooked well enough with tasty veggies that you don't have to slather on so much sauce to cover up. Hopefully they were just having an off night. I so rarely send food back, but we had to. And then they tried to charge us for it all. But they finally agreed to take the two meals off. A few weeks ago I went to this place with 3 friends. Location was good and the place was nicely decorated. We ordered Spring Rolls, Honey Walnut Prawn, Pho, Peanut Chicken Curry, Massaman Curry and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Honey Walnut Prawns were acceptable as were the Massaman Curry, Peanut Chicken Curry and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. HOWEVER, the Spring Rolls were just lettuce rolled up in rice paper and the Pho was the worst I have ever had, it was just a large bowl chock full of noodles with a little broth in the very bottom! There was no lime, yellow onion, cilantro, fish sauce, bean sprouts, or Basil and no protein. The worst! Also, we found out the next day that my credit card number was stolen and purchases made with it. The only time it was out of my secure wallet was when the waitress took it to pay for the meal. Fresh shrimp spring rolls with very thick peanut sauce were very disappointing. Zero flavor. Will not order again. Took two home for a leftover doctored-up salad the next day. Pad Thai level one. No heat came thru. VERY vinegary. (vin-ah-gare-ee...is that a word?). Not much flavor of anything save for vinegar. Spouse had the green curry at #3 - just right. Lots of leftovers. Pricing is fair. So I got the short end of the stick litteraly. I ordered chicken satay, spicy. Not only was it not hot as in spicy it was stone cold when it arrived at the table. As was my husband's Ginger pad Thai. So they microwaved it making it rubber chicken on a stick and curdled the peanut sauce. My daughter's pho was really nice, as was my son's teriyaki noodles. When we asked for hot tea we were given a tiny pot that had enough for three of us, and my son had to wait 10 minutes to get his cup of tea. Suchada's always has wonderful food. I have never been disappointed there. Unfortunately that's about where it ends. We went to Suchada's last night. It took over 30 minutes for someone to take our order. It then took almost an HOUR for our food to arrive. We arrived at 6:15 and did not receive our food until 7:30. It might have been salvageable but one of the dishes we were charged for was not available. I did not notice when I paid and when I realized I asked for a refund. They gave me the .66 cents in tax back instead of $10.95. When I asked why they tried to tell me that's what I was due back after the tip! This implied that they added an extra $10.30 to their tip. Obviously I did not accept this answer. They told me that they were confused and didn't know what to tell me but if I didn't see then $10.95 back on my card within two weeks to come back and they would sort it then! How can they give me .66 cents back in cash and not the full $10.95? Especially when I paid with card? I should not have gotten any cash back and should have gotten a total of $11.61 back to my card. Their explanation made no sense and I am no longer comfortable giving this establishment my business. read more

We were sat right away and the service was great. But even more surprising was how tasty the food was! We had some noodles and a panang curry dish with soft Tofu. We wanted Thai and read the reviews and made us question this restaurant. They are ALL misleading! We got seated right away and served promptly. Our waitress was sweet and knowledgeable. We ordered numerous dishes and appetizers. All our food was delicious and perfectly spiced to our request. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
