This place was the highlight of our anniversary celebration! Everyone we knew from the Lewiston area raved about Old Town Sushi, so we thought we'd stop by for a special occasion. Our waitress was so wonderful and the food was to die for! The dinner we had was hands down the best sushi we've had in the area! We had the smoked salmon roll, tuna poke roll, surf and turf roll and the lobster roll along with the shrimp stack! Their menu is so creative and delicious! You HAVE to give it a try! To manage expectations, be sure to arrive early and be willing to wait for a table because everyone seems to love their food as much as we do. This is definitely not a fast food place-- nevertheless, good things absolutely come to those who wait here! The owner was super friendly and visited with us at our table- she puts so much love into what she does! We got to sit under the arch and it was such a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious, the wait is unacceptable. You have too many tables, and too few employees. Be prepared to sit for HOURS!!!

ordered take out last night for a friends birthday (this is all they are currently offering), and it was delicious. however wait time was unpredictable, we ordered pickup at around 4:15pm and they quoted it to be ready at 5:30pm (must've been busy idk). we get there a little early just in case (like 5:20) and we end up waiting until 5:50 for the food. staff wasn't super nice which was also frustrating, they also auto-gratted the 6 rolls we ordered at 18% gratuity and we didn't even get all 6 rolls. we made it to our destination and opened up the bag, only 5 . overall i'm pretty sad with the experience but at least it was yummy?? i guess?? read more

Food is actually really really good. They never do take out orders so you have to dine in. They need more servers and cooks. I try to support small local businesses, but it's hard when the wait times are extremely long. Got there at 6 and didn't get food until 8:45. This is not unusual for this restaurant. We waited for over an hour to receive our food. The people that were sat after us got their food about 30 minutes before we got ours. They also got part of our order wrong and added extra drinks on the tab without us ordering them. It's a shame the experience was ruined like this because they always have such good food but a bad restaurant experience sure does ruin that. read more

Is this sushi good? Yeah it's not bad. Is it authentic? Definitely not but still enjoyable. The price wasn't that bad for the amount of food you get. Was super full just after a few pieces. The sushi wasn't really what I was expecting but the closest decent sushi place. The sauce, it's all about the sauce. Get there early to get a seat or be prepared to wait a couple minutes. The sushi artists are talented and get the orders out quickly. Walked in the doors at 6:15. They told us it would be a 30-40min wait, at 9:15 we finally got our food. After waiting for a table when people who came in after us were sat before us. There was no discount or items taken off our tab at the end of the night. I'm not one to write reviews but this was ridiculous. At the end of the meal our tabs were incorrect and it took another 20 minutes to get our tickets back. A 4 hour dinner for sub par sushi. read more

I've been to lots of sushi places and decided this place deserves 5 stars just for the fact that the fish is fresh, it's cut correctly and melts in your mouth. The rice is cooked perfectly and is delicious. I came on a week night, and due to it being an incredibly small space, that's what I recommend. I can only imagine what it's like on the weekend. The employees were all very nice, and when asked a question made sure to get the correct answers. All in all a great experience. read more

Sushi is good in a pinch. The rolls I had were pretty good and definitely filling. There are so many options! Waitress was super busy but still helpful. Place is too small. We came in at the end of the evening (7:30pm) with 5 people. Booths were full, tables weren't. We thought it would be ok to move tables together. Big mistake. We were scolded and told that customers couldn't get to one of maybe 4 seats at the bar. We sat at different tables. The only other option was the awkward patio seating. Word to the wise, don't come with more than 4 people, or it will be difficult to accommodate you. read more

I tried to order a simple roll of salmon, cucumber,avocado, and jalapeño. The owner told me they don't customize. Instead, everything is made of random crap to look fancy. I ordered garlic edamame for an appetizer. Had to ask twice to get the edamame. When I tried it. It barely tasted like garlic. But it was so overpowered by the sesame seed oil. It was disgusting. For hillbillies, this might seem like sushi. But it's more like a funnel cake at the fair. It's topped with so much crap. You wouldn't even know there was cake under it. Decided to give this place one more try before I got out of Lewiston area. This time I was met with a much better attitude and I was able to get a plate of fish other than rice rolls. I did try one roll and it was not very spicy for a spicy tuna roll. I was still very unhappy with the minimal fish list that you can choose from however the fish that did get was fresh and cut correctly. I ordered the ring of fire spiciness 3. One of the best sushi I ever eat. (but then again this is the third sushi place I have eaten at) I give the food 5/5. However I would like to add: the place could get really busy so I would recommend you get their the earliest you can. Which is not surprising considering it's a small place, with not vary much space. Also their are only two waiters and two chefs. However they are vary nice, and try to get thought every the best way they can. I give the customer service so 4.9/5 . read more

Clesea and the staff are amazing, hard-working, friendly, and dedicated to providing you an outstanding dining experience! Now, the sushi...sushi is like pizza, even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. Well, this is not bad sushi. In fact, thus is some of the best sushi I've ever had! We just returned from Kaua'i and experienced some of the most incrediblely fresh sushi available. Well, Old Town can compete. All their rolls are expertly made, generous in size, fresh, and amazing. Request a Watermelon Roll (not on the menu). I prefer rolls that incorporate susimi. If a "Sushi" joint doesn't offer susimi, they don't know how to handle fresh ingredients and I won't eat there. Old Town knows it's fresh fish! I can't say enough about this addition to the valley dining scene. Beer selection could be better, but their Saki choices are awesome. The sushi was fantastic! They are still a new business. They have only been open a week. The waiter didn't know the ingredients or name of the rolls we got. He got the order right, just wasn't able to identify them after. They had a very nice wine selection. They also had a few beers on the menu. It was a little expensive for a small town but I believe they are connected to the bistro next door. So their ingredients were probably all top of the line. All in all they did a good job and I'm glad to see a new sushi place in the valley. I looks forward to visiting again when they have been open longer. read more

The sole problem: Serving the sushi in Seasons, the restaurant next door. If you're going to serve sushi, especially when you're plating it in such an artistic and time consuming way, don't serve it in the restaurant next door.
