    Beef Stew Noodle Soup
    Chloe C.

coming from someone who has had a lot of asian food both across the country and internationally, i think this is one of, if not the best restaurant in pullman for a variety of chinese food and definitely the best place for pho. the authentic dishes here are really good. usually not busy when i've gone, but i definitely recommend dishes such as pho, beef hotpot, and beef stew noodle soup. spice levels are customizable and flavors are good. i think the ingredients vary a bit, but nothing that detracts from my experience thus far. it seems like the authentic chinese menu dishes are a lot better than the other items on the menu judging from the other reviews so i would highly recommend trying things from that menu. the staff is always friendly and it seems like a family owned restaurant. cozy interior -- i find myself coming here for comfort food. highly recommend coming here!

Parking: there is parking available at this restaurant Ambiance: the place looks a little outdated but that's what gives this place a good nostalgic feel so I love the decor. It's pretty quiet in here and not many guests Food: Food was a 10/10 so tasty! And well made. The chef special fish had a perfect amount of batter. The veggie mix was well seasoned too Server: there was one man who seemed to be doing it all (taking orders, serving the food, taking the check) which made me sad. He was super sweet and gentle. 100+ points for him.

Food was good and service was helpful and prompt. They have a pretty big menu with lots of options, including typical Chinese fare, teriyaki, pho, and more. I would call this a pretty typical Chinese restaurant. Nothing was super amazing, but everything was good. The Egg Rolls have a wrapper that seems more like that normally used for won tons, which actually was great because they were more crispy and flavorful. The Egg Flower Soup was exactly as I remembered it (I haven't ordered it in so long!). The Chicken Pho was very good. The Kung Pao Chicken was flavorful and spicy. I asked for medium spice, and I would say it was a little beyond that. So if you don't like spicy food you might steer clear from the menu items marked as spicy. The service was friendly, helpful, and prompt. I would certainly go back anytime I was in the mood for Chinese food.

Delicious beef hot pot with tofu and bok choy, beef hot pot noodle soup, mongolian beef, veggie egg rolls, chicken katsu, schzuan chicken, pork fried rice, and more. Love how take home is always yummy. Looking forward to when it is completely safe to return to in person dining because hot jasmine tea with meals are delicious. Love this family owned and run business.

We ate here tonight & our service was friendly, fast, and service starts with complimentary hot tea! There are definitely a lot of Chinese restaurants in Pullman, but that really added to the experience here. I also noticed that a lot of foreign students eat here, which must be a good sign. Our food was hot and delicious, and prices were reasonable. We'll definitely be back!!

This is probably as close to authentic Chinese food as it gets in the Palouse region, and that's not saying a much. They are located at the foothills of campus with a parking lot in front. The inside is cleaner than the other Chinese establishments I visited but not much better than your McDonalds or Chipotle. In terms of food, they have two menus, one for the American palette and one for Chinese. I ordered three dishes from the Chinese menu: eggplant with garlic sauce, stewed fish, and a noodle dish. They came out after about 15 minutes and tasted quite good. Of course, one cannot have high expectations in such a small city but for $17, one gets decent Chinese food from here.

Lamb pot-A must order if you are looking for authentic Chinese food!

The restaurant is nice and quiet which is so important to me because i love to run my mouth when im eating out. I got the vegetarian option, which I was grateful for because most of the times hot pot places aren't too accommodating for non meat eaters. Unfortunately my food was lacking a little in flavor. Could it have been that I got the veggie version and that sometimes flops in the flavor department? Or could it have been that I didn't select a spice level high enough? I'm not sure, but I'm willing to give it a second try's

In my Taiwanese hot pot I got a great variety of meat, fish and vegetables, much more than I expected for a great price. Service was timely, waitress was helpful, and it was a nice interior. My biggest critique is the fact that both hot pots I tried (veggie and taiwan) were not spicy in the slightest, like at all, when we got the maximum spice level. The waitress did tell us this would be the case and its clearly because of the white palates here but I was still disappointed by the fact that the hot pots didn't have the signature sichuan spice of malatangs. The numbing spiciness of chinese/taiwanese hot pot is something that sets apart this cuisine for me so that makes me sad. It satisfies my craving for now but what I really want from spicy hot pot is to see completely neon red broth.

I really enjoyed them and the sauce it came with was delicious! Decided to get two chicken dishes, pad Thai and Phad Se Ewe. I got the pad Thai at a level 2 and the phad de ewe level 3. The spice level 3 was perfect for me, a little kick but not too spicy. These portions were also huge and had plenty of left overs. Overall my favorite was the phad se ewe, I love the charred taste in the dish. The experience I had was a lot better than the last time I came and I noticed they played music this time which was great I definitely will be returning!

My favorites so far are their Massaman Curry with chicken, Yellow Curry Fried Rice with Pork, Phad See Ewe with chicken, and Pork Spring Rolls. The famous saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" applies with this restaurant. The exterior and interior looks outdated and worn down. It also lacks any ambiance because the decor is lacking and it is so quiet in there that it feels more like a library than a restaurant. However, this restaurant is a legit small family-owned and operated business and I appreciate the hard work they put in and I can tell they take pride in putting out delicious, quality food. So, don't judge this place by how it looks. If you're looking for a decent Thai restaurant, try Thai Ginger out. I look forward to dining here again the next time I'm in Pullman, Washington and trying more dishes.

The vibe is simple and no frills, kind of like a school cafeteria with a handful of tables and steady chatter from groups of students and families. Service was good. Our server took our order right away, and the food came out fast. They kept up with drink refills even though it was busy, which I appreciated. The beef pho was okay. The broth didn't have much flavor, the soup wasn't quite hot enough, and the beef was sliced too thin, so it came out chewy. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite hit the mark either.
