I love Golden Teriyaki. They have got their teriyaki ribs on LOCK! And I know that fried rice is a really simple dish, but I love the way that they make there's so much. Whenever I go, I always order a half order of their amazing, plump & juicy potstickers and a half order of their cream cheese won tons to go with my meal (I can never finish it all, of course, so that's leftovers for days). Walking in is so delightful because you're always greeted with a nice smile and a great "Welcome!" You're normally seated right away, which is so nice. You're always given a pot of hot tea and after ordering your food, it comes out right away. I can't say better things aout the service because in Pullman, they are as good as amazing gets! I'm definitely not a fan of their almond chicken just because they put so much of it all over my chicken. Maybe order it so that the sauce is on the side? My fellow Yelpers were spot on with this place! I stayed in the car with the fur kids while hubby got me a menu to browse. The menu selection looks more authentic than most American Chinese restaurants around here. We got the Lemon Chicken, Mongolian Beef and House Chow Mein to go. They use breast meat in the Lemon Chicken, very flavorful and you can actually taste the lemon! Mongolian Beef was my favorite, lots of onion and green onions and the beef was tender. House Chow Mein and assorted veggies, chicken, beef, shrimp and bbq pork, also good! It took less than 5 mins for our food to be ready, we took it back to the hotel 10 mins away and it was still scorching hot! Definitely be one of our staples when we take the fur kid to WSU. read more

The owner is always so nice to us, we are sometimes here as a big group, they have plenty of seat, not a popular place that need reservation or wait during weekdays. I love this place over emerald, which is another chinese restaurant just across the street. The owner always introduce us with something new... I always liked how they make the fish with fish sauce, which is deep fried fish (whole fillet) with some fish sauce on top. It taste good and when the rice is free, YOU will ENJOY many BOWLS of RICE!!!!!! They always sell beer, but I dont enjoy beer when I eat some fast chinese food like these. This is sadly by far the worst Chinese food I have had in quite a long time. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special at almost $10. I did like there was a large amount of chicken versus breading (1 star). The fried rice is not what I would call fried just some yellow rice with a few shavings of bbq pork on top. We're very fond of Golden Teriyaki but we've stopped purchasing from this restaurant after a very bad experience last year. My fiance went to make an order and there was someone on the register who wasn't capable of understanding him. The language barrier was incredibly frustrating for him, so much so that when he got home he was so flustered and had such high blood pressure that his nose began to bleed uncontrollably. The woman working the register insisted on giving him a "deal" for food he didn't want, and then greatly overcharged us for a very, very small amount of food. I attempted to call to resolve the issue and even I was unable to work with her, as she could only repeat simple phrases and wanted my fiance to drive back down in order to "fix the problem". We miss getting take-out from here, and really wish they would place appropriately bilingual people on the register/phones. We're glad others are having a better time with this restaurant than us, as we are both autistic and my fiance has an auditory processing disorder that makes it very difficult for him to make out what people are saying to him, especially if they speak quickly or mutter. The man that we believe is the owner (who also occasionally works the register) is very, very friendly and we would encourage anyone and everyone to stop in if they can. My boyfriend and I love this place! The food comes super fast and is always delicious. They will also serve their lunch specials anytime, which is awesome if you are trying to not spend a bajillion dollars on your dinner! We will eat here again and again, as the staff is completely attentive and food is very tasty. I highly recommend the broccoli beef or mongolian chicken! Not the best I have had in my life and very expensive compared to other places not Pullman. Have tried the Emerald, not better not worse. I have been eating the food from Golden Terriaky for more than 10 years. If someone suggest that they got food poisoning as a result of eating at this establishment, they are just plain wrong. They may have been sick but it was not because the restaurant has failed to properly cook or follows health/safety guidelines. They got sick because they failed to properly reheat the meal or for some other reason...Trust me if the restaurant ever produced anything that would cause someone to have food poisoning I would have experienced that issue. They may use MSG, not sure about that but there are people in the population that have sensitively to that specific enzyme and may have had a reaction to that and should request that no MSG be used in their order...I order take out at this GT because of the convenience and fast turn around. Lived in Pullman for 2 years and this was my go to place during finals. Always consistent with taste, portion size, and speed. Called for take out many times and it would always take no longer than 10 minutes even if it was dinner rush. The portions are huge even if you get the lunch size, which is the smaller portion. You can order the lunch specials all day which is a plus, because they have a pretty good list of specials. The owner is almost always at the front counter and is very friendly. That first time must have been a fluke because we friggin love this place now. We get take out all the time and they're so fast (5 to 10 mins at the max) and the food is always piping hot. The sticky rice is on point. We love the combination meals (which is enough for both of us) and the teriyaki chicken. Great service and great food. It's a toss up for me between Golden Teriyaki and Emerald for Pullman's best Chinese. My life's mission, now, is to figure out that delicious teriyaki sauce.... Yum!! read more

This is a fairly clean restaurant, the food is ok. The waitress hit on my husband. She asked him to come back alone. We laughed about it, he was embarrassed though.
