I've been living in Orofino Idaho for the past 7 years, this is the first time I've had good Chinese food! I'm so happy I decided to try this place! I had Beef Chow Fun, which is not on the menu, but they were nice enough to make it for me. I'm from the San Francisco area originally and there's no shortage of good Chinese there. What a find! If you're looking for run of the mill Chinese food...this is NOT the place. We went to the Nez Perce Historical Society Museum where we learned a lot about this area. One of the galleries talked about the Eng family, along with the people they sponsored from China. It mentioned the restaurants that served traditional food using family recipes. One of these restaurants was the Golden Dragon. We came here for lunch...after the museum. The service was GREAT and the food was delicious. I was disappointed that they didn't have spring rolls, but the potstickers were so good. I had the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and fried shrimp. I was delighted with my choice! Family owned, been here for years, part of the first settlers etc. etc. When we drove into the parking lot there was no one there it was a 11:45. That should've been our first sign. The food was very mediocre there was no one in there until after 1pm, there was a couple of people. I was very unwell the following day not blaming it on this place, but. We came into town and grabbed a hotel.... We stayed at the days inn and consulted yelp for delivery seeing as though we've been on the road all day........ We ordered chicken chow mein, pork egg foo young. Mongolian beef, pork fried rice, pot stickers and crab ragoons...... The chicken chow mein was literally spaghetti noodles, with a few pieces of broccoli, snap peas and a watery, oily "sauce", by no means if I would have known the conditions of the chow mein would I have wasted my money. The egg fo young was delightful, but the pork was thrown on top in little sliced strips ( probably to hide the fact it was one of those spiral cut pre cooked Christmas type hams) The fried rice was the same had the sliced pork on it, there were no peas carrots or even eggs in it. It was just the pork and rice that had a little flavor to it. Mongolian beef was my boyfriends and he said it was good..... The white rice was a little dry and clumpy..... The pot stickers were terrible and the ragoons were just fried wontons with cream cheese in them! Over all for a business that has been in Lewiston for 30+ years I was incredibly let down, even for just passing through. read more

I have been coming here for about a year. One of the waiters knows my order. It's pretty cool. The restaurant is located in North Lewiston. The staff is nice and helpful. The restaurant just got new floors in the main dining room, which makes it more modern and feel cleaner and brighter. I typically go for lunch. They have a variety of lunch combos and other combos. You can't beat the variety. Today I ordered a #5, but substituted the spare ribs for sweet and sour chicken. Lunch plates are around $6.50. The larger combos are from $8-$10, but have multiple items. My food was hot and flavorful. It definitely hit my chinese food craving! I'm also a huge fan of their egg rolls. I will keep coming back. The service, variety and prices make it affordable and worth it. read more

This is a brand new building, built just last year. While the food quality varies, depending on who's cooking (the owner who does an awesome job, or his parents who have mixed results), the best part is the BBQ Pork. I've never had better BBQ pork. They apparently make it fresh every night. I've been known to go in and just get that. I love it. The tea is lovely, the service is usually top notch, and you never leave hungry. read more

First off when I arrived to pick up my order the woman (one of the owners I think) who greeted me was really nice and kept me posted throughout the waiting process. My order of soup and sweet and sour chicken was tasty. The soup was delicious (hot and sour) and the chicken was okay. We drive to McCall ID from Seattle WA several times a year. We usually go to the same place to eat when we pass through Lewiston. But were craving Chinese this time driving to McCall. We saw Tonya D.'s scathing review and decided to skip it. On our way back to Seattle we decided we'd chance it (Still in the mood for Chinese food). We are SOOO glad we did. We totally and completely loved it. Probably the best vegetable egg foo young we could remember eating. The Tofu and vegetable stir fry were delicious. The Pea-pod Chop Suey was super yummy too. Everything was fresh and delicious. We stopped during the busy lunch time so it wasn't super quick - but totally worth the bit of extra bit of time it took. The server was extremely welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is spotless (including a very clean rest room) and couldn't be easier to get to from the main highways. We will definitely be stopping on our future trips through Lewiston! read more

The have great food and very nice customer service, BUT AND ITS A BIG ONE, they charge you FIVE dollars for a delivery fee. I made sure to double check that I had the right price (for the delivery fee) and they had the right location after hearing the price (I am not even 5 miles away from them.), He said, "Yes this is our price," he was very nice about it and went on to say how "Gas is 4 dollars a gallon and how he only gets 22 miles per gallon," which then lead me to feel like I was the victim of a highway robbery. :/ oye I'll be dinning in. read more
