This restaurant is all about the food. I've been to this restaurant about 2-3 times now and each time I've enjoyed the taste and generous family-sized portions. My favorites so far are their Massaman Curry with chicken, Yellow Curry Fried Rice with Pork, Phad See Ewe with chicken, and Pork Spring Rolls. The famous saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" applies with this restaurant. The exterior and interior looks outdated and worn down. It also lacks any ambiance because the decor is lacking and it is so quiet in there that it feels more like a library than a restaurant. However, this restaurant is a legit small family-owned and operated business and I appreciate the hard work they put in and I can tell they take pride in putting out delicious, quality food. So, don't judge this place by how it looks. If you're looking for a decent Thai restaurant, try Thai Ginger out. I look forward to dining here again the next time I'm in Pullman, Washington and trying more dishes. read more

Easily goes into the top three pad thai dishes ive ever had. Its everything you want from a good pad thai- tangy, sweet, not overly flavored, and a good balance of noodles to meat, bean sprouts, peanuts etc. They do serve it with lemon knstead of lime which i found funny but didnt detract from my experience. The price is a little high but I had leftovers for 3 days so its honestly worth it. When I went in the place was a ghost town (weekday lunch time) and super quiet, but it made for a peaceful meal. The food here is on point. The Rad Nah's gravy consistency was perfect and the noodles were cooked just right. The Phad Seewe was also good, as the noodles had that nice high heat cooking flavor, which is hard to do without burning them. The duck was a little dry, however came with a healthy portion of vegetables. The service was good. We Swede seated quickly and the server was attentive. The food came out pretty quick. The ambience is a little dated. Low ceilings and a little dark. There are booth and table seating. Would definitely return to try other food items. read more

This place has decent food, which is great when I crave Thai food. I like to dine in, but I have an issue with the inside of the store as well as the cleanliness. The dishes aren't clean... at all. One of my waters had some green specks floating it (not sure what it was) and the cups had built up crust and food on the inside and outside... so we decided to not drink out of it. When something as simple as water is dirty I question how the cleanliness is inside the kitchen. I actually do enjoy this places food for the most part. Although the pad Thai is mostly on the sweet side, but sometimes I enjoy that more. It depends on your taste. The inside of the place has NO MUSIC at all so it's just an awkward silence, as it's typically not busy at all in here. It also looks a bit ran down so it's not my favorite place to dine in. If you want a quick Thai food, sure this is fine. But if you want a reliable place that is guaranteed clean, I would maybe check out other places. read more

I have gone here for 3 years, I haven't eaten here in about 6 months, and was curious if the quality had changed, nope! Still as good as always! My personal favorite is the sizzling duck with a Thai tea, the peppers are just soft enough and still have that crunch, and the mushrooms too, I would willingly pay 500$ for the sauce recipe he has this in, it's incredible. Food came out faster than any other fancy restaurant there is in Pullman and Moscow, he checked in after about 15 minutes, but of course we had no problems at all, I asked for no ginger in the sizzling duck and of course he could do it. I would like to give a zero star if I could. The owner has no shame or respect to customers. If you want to get embarrassed then try talking to them. I should say the curry we ordered was good. The reason for my awful experience was because of the service and how my family was treated by the owner. I never heard a word like "enjoy your food" or "thank you" or "you're welcome". He simply dropped dishes after we ordered and walked away silently and he didn't look happy. What made me really angry was when I found a bug in the dipping sauce. The waitress told the owner about the bug, and he came to our desk. He looked at it and said he needed glasses so that he could see clearly. Then he tried to take the sauce away with him. We asked him to leave it and bring the glasses here. He then said "oh it is simple, I just waive the appetizer for you (the dipping sauce was for the appetizer). He behaved like we were trying to use it as an excuse to take advantages of him and he treated us like beggars but definitely not customers! While clearly he has seen it but did not want to apologize or something. Not to mention he never said sorry for our bad dining experience. His face looks like I own him a lot of money. In the end, he just dropped my card with the receipt and walked away instantly when I tried to talk to him. This just pissed me off as I was trying to downplay it. I have never been treated like this at any restaurant! I asked the waitress to tell the owner "this is not the right way to business and definitely not the right way to treat your customers!" For a moment, I just wanted to tear apart the receipt and leave, but decided to deal with this more peacefully. Should have taken a photo of the BUG and posted it here! Though I really want to support the local business in this near-ghost town, this owner certainly does not deserve the supports, maybe I should say they do not want the support. I will never come back here and will ask my friends not to. Yelpers, if you really want Thai food, the other Thai restaurant nearby is also good. I love Thai Ginger. I love the Panaang curry. The building is an ugly grey color, and it's dark inside, but it has very good food inside. I also had a roasted duck curry once that was fabulous. The second one i ordered some how wasn't as good as the first, but it wasn't bad. It's expensive, but they gave me plenty of food. Thai leftovers are good. This is a family owned business. You can see that if you pay attention. If it gets really busy, I could see the service going down because the same guy does everything and sometimes his family helps wait on people, but he also cooks. If you're looking for something fast, this is the Thai restaurant for you. The service here is much quicker than that of Phikun's, which is just up the street. The restaurant itself is dimly lit but it's got some ambience. The food was decent, but not spectacular. I would not recommend getting the squid in your curry. I don't know if it was a one-off event but I tried it and it was absolutely revolting. Maybe the squid was rank but the taste of it absolutely permeated through the curry and, in my opinion, it was not worth eating. I did, however, have the lamb curry and that was adequate. I really enjoy this place for a couple of reasons. The service is fast and food has been consistently good. I order the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer. I really enjoy the peanut sauce that comes with it. For my main entree, I usually order the pineapple curry with chicken. I love the flavors that meld together: basil, raisins, pineapple. They have great Thai food, great bar food, and a well stocked bar. My review is mainly of the bar area, I haven't been in the restaurant area. Their food is quite good, and is prepared quickly. They ask you how spicy you want your food, from 1-5. Three was too much for me, and one had almost no spice. I'm trying two next time. They have quite a large menu. The basic bar food is good too. They have an outdoor seating area in the back which is pretty decent, if a little dirty from smokers. read more
