    BBQ buns, Xiao Long Bao
    Emily L.

I went on a Saturday at around 5:30 pm. It wasn't too busy so we were seated quickly with no wait. Inside was very clean and quaint and I appreciated how tidy it was inside. We decided to order some Dim Sum, so we ordered BBQ buns and Xiao Long Bao. They came out pretty quickly and they came out with a yummy dipping sauce. My favorite was the BBQ buns it was so flavorful and fluffy! For entrees we decided to get the Family A meal, you need at least two people to order. It comes with 3 smaller entrees, egg drop soup, and egg fried rice. We ordered the Almond Chicken, Sweet and Sour chicken, and Beef and broccoli. All were very delicious! My favorite was the sweet and sour chicken. I believe it was chicken breast which I like more than thighs so I loved it. Overall this is a must try! The employees were super kind and checked up on us frequently. I loved the food and the atmosphere. Overall I will be coming back again when craving Chinese food!

Iron Wok has been worth the drive for years, and even though they're a little farther now after moving from Moscow to Pullman, it's still 100% worth it. I finally tried the authentic black pepper dish from the secret menu, and boy howdy--it was packed with bold flavor and real spice. Nothing watered down, just rich, well-balanced heat done right. A longtime favorite that still delivers every time.

Another great Chinese restaurant! It's so good, I've visited once a week since being introduced to it! Friendly staff and quick service! There are two menus - the more authentic Chinese menu (where I ordered the Singapore noodles from) and the more Americanized Chinese menu has my favorite #10 - sweet and sour chicken almond chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. The rice is so fresh! Quaint space located right over the bridge before getting into the heart of downtown Pullman. Husband loved the Kung Pao - ample portions! So thankful for their business!

The restaurant is nice and quiet which is so important to me because i love to run my mouth when im eating out. I got the vegetarian option, which I was grateful for because most of the times hot pot places aren't too accommodating for non meat eaters. Unfortunately my food was lacking a little in flavor. Could it have been that I got the veggie version and that sometimes flops in the flavor department? Or could it have been that I didn't select a spice level high enough? I'm not sure, but I'm willing to give it a second try's

In my Taiwanese hot pot I got a great variety of meat, fish and vegetables, much more than I expected for a great price. Service was timely, waitress was helpful, and it was a nice interior. My biggest critique is the fact that both hot pots I tried (veggie and taiwan) were not spicy in the slightest, like at all, when we got the maximum spice level. The waitress did tell us this would be the case and its clearly because of the white palates here but I was still disappointed by the fact that the hot pots didn't have the signature sichuan spice of malatangs. The numbing spiciness of chinese/taiwanese hot pot is something that sets apart this cuisine for me so that makes me sad. It satisfies my craving for now but what I really want from spicy hot pot is to see completely neon red broth.

I really enjoyed them and the sauce it came with was delicious! Decided to get two chicken dishes, pad Thai and Phad Se Ewe. I got the pad Thai at a level 2 and the phad de ewe level 3. The spice level 3 was perfect for me, a little kick but not too spicy. These portions were also huge and had plenty of left overs. Overall my favorite was the phad se ewe, I love the charred taste in the dish. The experience I had was a lot better than the last time I came and I noticed they played music this time which was great I definitely will be returning!

My favorites so far are their Massaman Curry with chicken, Yellow Curry Fried Rice with Pork, Phad See Ewe with chicken, and Pork Spring Rolls. The famous saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" applies with this restaurant. The exterior and interior looks outdated and worn down. It also lacks any ambiance because the decor is lacking and it is so quiet in there that it feels more like a library than a restaurant. However, this restaurant is a legit small family-owned and operated business and I appreciate the hard work they put in and I can tell they take pride in putting out delicious, quality food. So, don't judge this place by how it looks. If you're looking for a decent Thai restaurant, try Thai Ginger out. I look forward to dining here again the next time I'm in Pullman, Washington and trying more dishes.

The vibe is simple and no frills, kind of like a school cafeteria with a handful of tables and steady chatter from groups of students and families. Service was good. Our server took our order right away, and the food came out fast. They kept up with drink refills even though it was busy, which I appreciated. The beef pho was okay. The broth didn't have much flavor, the soup wasn't quite hot enough, and the beef was sliced too thin, so it came out chewy. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite hit the mark either.

After we called we got in immediately and were greeted before we sat with water already out for each guest. There weren't many there when we arrived and we were sat in the back. However the food was excellent. We all had a good time. The waitress was attentive and ensured we all had what we needed. This was a wonderful experience.
