Came in last night for the first time. Brought the family. Fun atmosphere. Such cute decor. Nice variety of their product which is a thick ice cream sandwich with ice cream and fillings between two chocolate cookies. They are already assembled and ready to go. Very tasty. We each had a different flavor and everyone enjoyed what they had. My husband got the strawberry shortcake. I had the salted caramel brownie. Daughter-in-law had key lime....can't remember which one our son got. But all were fresh and delicious and I thought a very generous serving. Service was friendly and fast. One of the young women kindly offered to take our group picture. Also open late....it was a Saturday night and they were open until 11:00 pm. The cookies are sugar cookies and there is a plethora of fillings with ice cream, custards, candy pieces and just mouthwatering delicious! The place has a cute hipster decor and paint and seating. Good for a new experience, but easy to pass on. Peace Pie's concept is to have an ice cream sandwich with a layer of pie filling. I had the key lime peace pie. The ice cream flavor was just vanilla (maybe? It was pretty flavorless) and surprisingly salty. The pie filling had tang, but again, not a lot of real flavor. The cookie was too hard and unsurprisingly "meh." If you want pie, get pie. If you want ice cream, get ice cream. This really is a one and done place for me. We got the French Toast peace pie and it was quite yummy. They cut it in half if you're splitting one which is nice. In hindsight I think I would've rather enjoyed something with the shortbread cookie and/or caramel but with so many options I don't think you could go wrong with any. It seems that they all have an ice cream component plus one other creamy layer. Perfect for a hot summer day! Visiting from Miami, decided to try Peace Pie because I heard it was great. Literally walked by at least 5 OPEN ice cream shops on the way. We arrived at 8:45pm today, Saturday, and it's closed. Website says open until 11pm. According to the couple eating outside at the restaurant next door; we were the 4th group to show up and be disappointed. We passed by here a day earlier and vowed we would return. On our road trip back home we made it a point to stop here. This is the most genius place that I have been to. I have been to their Charleston location and now they're saying Augustine location. I absolutely love trying the different flavors. I have not been disappointed at all. I have now tried the pecan pie as well as the Elvis. The Elvis has peanut butter, chocolate, and banana. We landed here for desert and chose items recommended to us. We would next time go with flavors we typically like instead of recommendations but it was very frozen until it wasn't... not much of an in between in terms of when it's too frozen you can't really taste flavors. First off, there were at least five people behind the counter sitting at a table drinking champagne. I get it, it's Saturday night, but you're working...? Drinking on the job is a bit of a turnoff. The owner was working alone but had time to share the story of the business, sell me on the different flavors and then just enjoy some conversation. If you're looking for an alternative to an ice cream cone this summer you should definitely give them a try! A Peace Pie is an ice cream sandwich with a layer of pie filling! There are many to choose from which was the "worst" part -- I just couldn't make up my mind! I ended up choosing the salted caramel apple which was perfect - apple pie a la mode in convenient sandwich form. VERY FILLING! They even have a Peace Pie Pounders Club Card where if you buy 10 you get one free so that helps with the whole indecisive thing ;). The sandwich was delicious, but the 1 is for one of the absolute rudest food service experiences I've ever had in my life. I worked food service in the past and always treat all food service personnel with kindness wherever I go. We had to wait outside the window for 7-10 mins before someone even came to take our order. I was expecting to be met with a friendly face at the least. Instead I was met with absolute indifference, impatience, and slight attitude.
