this is going to be a must do every single visit I have in Saint Augustine. We were here in December when they were getting it set up and made a mental note to come back. Well, I forgot, but we walked down a side street and I saw it while looking for somewhere to have dinner and it was set, we were going back. The concept is an ice cream sandwich with pie filling in addition to ice cream. There are A TON of unique flavors. I had the crème brulee. IT was outstanding. There were little pieces of crunchy toffee inside so I really got the feel of eating the traditional dessert. Everyone that I was with really enjoyed their desserts. Staff was very friendly and helpful. He pointed out the ones that had homemade ice cream in them and strongly urged us to move in that direction, citing their homemade ice cream was amazing. Who doesn't love ice cream sandwiches? Delicious! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the art on the walls made it even better. Loved being able to munch on my Peace Pie and people watch out the window. read more

My kids were super excited to try this place. We drove over an hour to get there. There is no dedicated parking and thus can be a challenge if you're driving to that area. My 9 had to use the bathroom the second we arrived so I asked the ladies behind the counter if he could use the restroom. The lady standing in the back very rudely says the bathroom is for customers only. I said that we intended to purchase ice cream and she said well I said it's available for customers. Turns out she's the owner and another person that witnessed the exchange said sorry she does that a lot. I said that was to bad because we can't support a business owner with that type of attitude towards her customers. The ice cream sandwich was good but the unprofessional attitude wasn't worth it. Pre Covid 19 I called to get a gift card for a birthday gift. Apparently I spoke to the owner of the Store in St Augustine. She very very nice when I placed the order. Said she was mailing it out right away. A week went by and I got nothing in the mail. Even snail mail will get something delivered in less that a week. I called a week later got a store clerk. She said her boss just went out and would be back and she will tell her I did nget it. Another few days went by still nothing. Mind you the money was taken out of my bank account when I placed the original order. I called again and the owner answered. When I told her I hadn't received it she casually said I know it's sitting on my desk I have gotten around to mailing it yet. When I pushed her in this and told her I didn't think this was right and I missed having it as the gift she got as nasty as anyone had ever gotten with me. I was shocked. She was screaming at me that she will just take a scissor and cut it up how would I like that!!!!! If it wasn't a gift that was going to mean so much to the person I got it for o would have told her to F off but I remained very polite as she went on her rant asking me who the hell did I think I was telling her it wasn't right for her to not mail it. I waited a month to write this hoping I would be more calm. I would never talk to a customer that way and I have never been treated like such garbage by anyone ever. I know her father is the owner and started this business but SHAME on all of you. I know I can't keep people from going to Peace Pie but know your money is profiting a nasty nasty person and I hate to think about how she treats her employees if she treat paying customers like she treated me. Don't know how Covid 19 will effect them as a small business so I hope when we come out the other side of this the owner in St Augustine will be more appreciative of her customers that support her business. read more

Peace Pie is a small chain that offers a wide variety of very good ice cream that is served between two chocolate wafers (no cones). They add a bit of pie filling thus the name. We visited the store in St. Augustine and found it very clean, with quick service. Many choices make for some difficult decisions. I would certainly recommend it for a cool treat on a hot day. It's not on the well worn St. Georges Street, but off a side street so use Yelp for directions. read more

So many ice cream places to choose from in this neighborhood. This got five well deserved stars on yelp. Large selection of ice cream, cookies and filling combinations to choose from. All looked delicious. I had key lime which had vanilla ice cream with a key lime filling in spice shortbread cookies. Good thing I don't live nearby or I'd be in there all the time. My fiancé had chocolate shortbread cookies with chocolate ice cream and salted caramel filling. Also perfect. read more

Great little place with some great flavors and great customer service. We tried the Key Lime, Vanilla, Salted Caramel Brownie, and Molten Chocolate and all were very good. A little pricey but overall definitely worth a visit. read more

After seeing all the great pictures and reviews I have been dying to try this place. We were able to get downtown for a bit this afternoon and I dragged my husband in so I could finally try a sandwich. Unfortunately that never happened. We walked in and the girl working was on her cell phone. She never acknowledged us or told us she would be right with us. I checked out the different flavors and decided what I wanted. I attempted to get her attention but she made zero effort to help us. I consider myself pretty patient and understand that sometimes you need to take a call. But after awhile of her completely ignoring us we decided to just leave. There are so many places to get ice cream/popsicles/bakery items that I would rather give my business to someone who wants it. read more

Wowza!! Had the pecan pie, which was perfectly balanced with the sweet shortbread cookie that sandwiched a big hunk of vanilla ice cream and salty, sweet pecan pie filling & whole pecans, which surprisingly held well together..good stuff!! read more
