Giving a two star because of the variety of food they have. Tons of options including Mongolian style stir fry if you don't trust the buffet food dessert bar is the same. Big with lots of options. However, With Covid restrictions this is not a favorable place for my family. They have you wear a mask (that's normal and expected) to get your food. The thing I disliked was that as you approach the roped off buffet area a server stands there to check masks (normal as well) but then they have you sanitize your hands, put on the shittiest plastic gloves like the ones the elementary lunch ladies wear, and then.....get this- AND THEN they have you sanitize your gloves . Yes, you read that right- you sanitize, put gloves on, then sanitize the gloves LOL. I asked the worker what the point of that was and he said to make sure we're safe?! ‍ It's such a hassle that you should probably plan on getting your seconds the first time you go . Also, I had literally walked out of the exit ropes to my table which was right in front of the buffet entrance where the worker was standing and my daughter asked for a roll. I turned around with my mask and gloves still on and the worker made me take it off and do the whole sanitize, glove, sanitize thing ‍. Oh and let me also add that, once you sanitize your gloves, your hands are sticky and so are the gloves hahahaha seriously such a joke. After this "new normal" Covid style that Paradise has going on my family and I decided we'll pay the extra money for Braza Grill or even Korean BBQ where they have it a lot more together. You spent time making sure your bowl had all your favorite ingredients in it and you added all your oils just right, and you hand your bowl over to them so they can robotically add it to the shell-game they have going on the barbecue? You wait forever and then realize your food was probably given to someone else because the people running the Mongolian Barbecue aren't doing anything in any kind of order? They don't give a rodent's rear end about you at the Mongolian barbecue at Paradise Buffet. The Mongolian Barbecue is my favorite part of any buffet and the whole reason why I go. Never once has a buffet lost my food and ignored me when I tried to get their attention at the barbecue. I complained to the boss, very nicely, and she listened like she's really too busy to listen to me. I get it. It was Saturday night and she was extremely busy. Yelp says I a rom Sarasota Florida. I don't know why, except that I reviewed a couple of places there that I visited while vacationing in Florida. I actually live in Millcreek, Utah, and visit the Paradise Buffet fairly often. I enjoy it. I don't are for their salad bar as they have only iceberg lettuce, which I consider a waste time to eat and not more nutritional lettuces such as romaine or spring greens. But their Chinese selection is good. I like he shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, beef broccoli, cream cheese wontons. Once I found them serving some rime rib, which was half fat, but good. I just didn't eat the fat. As with most buffets, their desserts are not particularly memorable, but you'll probably find something you like. I'm thinking of going there today. read more

Genuinely one of the lowest quality buffers I've ever been to! But they charge more than any other buffet I've been to! Definitely stay away from this place if you can! Now I rate this in comparison to all the other Asian buffet spots in the valley. The food quality and selections are the best I've had so far. Gotta love the hibachi style cooking option. The sushi is decent and not too bad on the deserts. The servers have always been good especially with replenishing your beverages. They have improved a lot and have done a good job of keeping it very clean. They've replaced the under-performing workers that had no customer service skills that were rude and didn't want to be there with smiling and genuinely attentive people in the food area. Food also had improved in the last few times. Their steak and grilled chicken on the weekend are fantastic. Their Hawaiian grilled chicken with pineapple slices are actually better than some restaurants. Craw fish and mussels are huge! Sushi is actually desirable-ish... which is far better than most buffets in town. Really like how they divide sushi and mongolian grill sections into separate stations instead of smash them together like Kin... well.. the other buffet. Love the desserts too. They offer a large variety of cakes and pies and ice cream flavors with different toppings you can choose from. My favorite ice cream bowl: a scoop of Neapolitan, a scoop of mint, a teaspoon of crushed peanuts, a sprinkle of coconut flakes, a teaspoon of oreo, crush a cone into bits and sprinkle on top. It's soooo good. Thank me later. Only complain: Server sometimes attentive sometimes not so attentive it's a hit or miss but hey it's your tip money they're working for so you be the judge. This place is trash! Everything was horrible. Service, food, table service, etc.. I tried a little of everything. Maybe, 4 items I could even imagine finishing. Everything so cheap. Cheaply made and terrible. Basic everything. It was a complete waste of money. King Buffet down the street is light years better. Go there and don't waste your time coming here! I'm absolutely appalled with myself for coming here! This kind of food can spin someone into a period of self loathing, questioning your very existence here on earth. Very impressed with the cleanliness and freshness of the food here. I told the manager, cause I believe we need to also say when things are right. Left the server a good tip on the table. It's kind of strange, but if you pay with a credit card on your way in they ask if you want to leave a tip on the card. There's no way of knowing how the table service will be. I had the BBQ, and it was very good. They keep the food areas super tidy and clean. After going to another buffet in the area, I will support a place that goes the extra mile just to have a clean place! read more

Seemed expensive. You have to pay extra for soda. For us a bit too crowded, too noisy and although there is a large selection of food, for the most part it was quite tasteless. Best Buffet in Salt Lake, hands down. Anytime we've tried to branch out, we've regretted it. Weekend lines can be long, but it moves faster than you'd expect. Pricing is fair, even better than some buffets. I never like when they charge extra for drinks, and they've started doing that here, but a lot of buffets do now . They have a great variety, even a sushi bar area. Waitresses are great at keeping up on the drinks, etc. We've come here a lot and never had a negligent waitress. Great staff. read more

HORRIBLE food!! If I could give this place a 0 I most definitely would. We went to complain and just express our feelings and the manager looked at us like we were stupid and as we were talking she literally turned around and walked away! AS WE WERE TALKING! Was good before the remodel. Is GREAT now! Super clean. The staff works very hard to clean tables thoroughly, sweep every time someone leaves, clean food out of booth cracks, etc. Food is hot or cold, as it's supposed to be. BEST salad bar ever!!! (My favorite is the carrot/raisin salad and the pasta seafood mix.) I'm also generally not a sushi fan at the cheaper restaurants, but they make it fresh before your eyes here and use super fresh ingredients. Good variety of it too. Kids can always find several things here they like. So many choices for adults, it's hard to pick a favorite. Daily lunches for seniors only $8.98. I'd proudly take anyone here. I just ate at Paradise Grill and my whole family got immediately sick after eating. When we spoke to the manager she only argued everything saying it wasn't their fault and that we were lieing. Watch out! For big parties (they did not say a specific number), they automatically charge a tip of 10% but they never tell you about it, such that you would end up leaving extra cash tips on your table. This is what my friend found out when she dropped by the restaurant again to check a seemingly overcharge on her card. A very small sign about their tip policy is put on the counter corner, but I bet you will never find this out. You should double check your receipt. read more

Sushi is plain and simple. It's like the fast food version of sushi. They have a very wide selection of dishes from all over. The service was pretty good. They are there to take your dirty plates as you finish. There was a few times they were backed up and it took them a few extra minutes. I went expecting a Chinese buffet. More than half the food for American. And it was 12 dollars a person since it was a Saturday. Meh. It was okay. The food tasted fine. I stuck to the Chinese food and desserts since that is why I went. However, I've definitely had better and I won't be driving back to Murray because I thought it was overpriced. Dumplings, cheese wontons, and eggrolls were good. Lo mein tasted odd. The sweet and sour chicken was good but it was more like chicken fingers with sweet and sour dipping sauce. I'm not loving the ham fried rice. They had that and shrimp fried rice leaving no vegetarian option. I'm not a vegetarian but I tend to eat that way in a Chinese buffet because I tend to find things like beef and broccoli to have mediocre meat (and it did). Overall, I've been to much better hole in the wall buffets and for the price, this wasn't worth it. If you want to load your plate with macaroni and cheese, pizza and mashed potatoes, this is your place. read more

Would absolutely come back for certain! For the price you're paying, the quality and variety of food you're getting is unreal. Well lit and very clean place and a lot of rooms to choose to where to eat and relax. Paid $10.83 after tax at 4:30 pm and would easily pay a couple more dollars if that isn't the dinner price. Though please be aware that this buffet is not Las Vegas Sterling Buffet, so don't go coming in expecting the most. The food here is great I loved it, but the waitress was different. The waiter went to our table at the very beginning to give us water and that would be it, after that she didn't come at all. we did have a lot of people at the table so I do understand it would be hard but she didn't come once we had piles of plates and didn't give us any drinks at all so after a while we went up to her to ask for water, so she did come later with water, she brought it to us and spilled the entire picture of water and ice all over my daughter it would have been fine if it was an accident but you could clearly tell she did it on purpose, after she spilled it all she said was "its just water" I could not believe it so I immediately left the restaurant. The food was great so I will be visiting again, but if I experience another waiter like that I will definitely not be going again. read more

The food is pretty good, and we go there frequently without much issue. Last night, however, we arrived at 7:40pm, not being aware they'd changed their hours. Our fault for not being observant, but shame on the front desk staff for not saying a word to the people in front of us, us, or the people behind us when being checked in. Who goes to a buffet for 20 minutes? When I said something, the waitress (who took 10 minutes to get us silverware and never noticed our near-empty glasses) said the food on the buffet was up until about 8:30. However, the main thing we go there for is the grill, and that was shut up tight promptly at 8pm. The waitress got a mgr, who basically just shrugged. I had to ask multiple times to please have the front staff mention when people are coming in so close to closing. For the price of the buffet, I don't expect a limited menu and to be left with "whatever is left on the buffet" after 30 minutes. Very, very disappointing experience all around. We'll be thinking twice before spending our money there again. read more
