    Pork Pot Stickers (6 Pieces)

Came here for lunch with a friend on a Thursday and there was a decent amount of people for a random weekday! The restaurant is partnered with/located inside of Grid City Beer Works. There was plenty of seating! We sat at the bar, our server was great and attentive. They have restaurant favorites and drink specials posted on the signs. For drinks my friend got the Blueberry Lav French 75 and I got the Huckleberry Mule. Our drinks were great! I've also tried the Grid City Bubble Works canned drinks before and I'd highly recommend those as well! We ordered the Pork Potstickers, Marinated Cucumbers, and Dan Dan Noodles as was recommended by our server. The pork potstickers were super dense and the wrapper was tough, unlike most other potstickers I've had. The marinated cucumbers had a great texture, but were very salty. Our favorite were the Dan Dan Noodles. The sauce was flavorful and seasoned well. The only issue was how difficult it was to eat the huge pieces of bok choy. Overall, I'd definitely come back here for drinks and the dan dan noodles, but the other items did not live up to how I thought they'd be.

I love this place, great food, great service and great beer. Grid city beer is amazing. They just opened as a restaurant and it was much busier than I've seen it. Congrats for sure. I wish our service was a bit better this last time, maybe because they are still adjusting to the increase in traffic. The food did take a hot minute to come out, which was fine since we had some cold beer to enjoy.

Large size hangout restaurant with good vibes. If you are into Asian food would def say check it out. The mapu tofu was amazingly good. I was stuffed to the brim from the dish. Really nice staff as well.

Went on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly. The main issues that we had were that the server didn't tell us that a lot of the things on the menu were not available, both food and drinks. So there were multiple times that we tried to order something and she would say "oh, we're out of that." That seems like something that should be mentioned up front. Other than that, the food was okay. They have a good selection of beers and seltzers. I don't know if I would go back though.

This has been on my list for a while, and the food did not disappoint! We sat outside on the patio since it was such a beautiful day and seriously the best views of the mountains! For food, we ordered the potstickers to share, Dan Dan noodles (spice level 2), and the three cup chicken. Everything was delicious! The potstickers were good, but I personally prefer them a little crispier, these were more soft and chewy. My husband actually liked them that way though. My Dan Dan noodles were super flavorful, and spice level 2 was perfect, I wouldn't go higher or lower. My husband liked his three cup chicken, but didn't realize it came as a full chicken, so it took a little work to eat. Also, they didn't give us utensils to use, so we had to ask for them. Our friends really enjoyed their meals as well. We'd def go back!

Overall, the food was salty and mid. Our table ordered the marinated cucumber, crab Rangoon dip, Taiwanese fried chicken and Dan Dan noodles. The marinated cucumber had a salty soy sauce aftertaste, but had a nice crunch. The crab Rangoon dip was thick and tasted like fishy cream cheese. The wonton chips were crispy and crunchy. The Taiwanese fried chicken was burnt and had minimal flavor. The Dan Dan noodles were thick and chewy. The meat topping was oily and salty. Lasty, in the women's handicap stall in the bathroom there was a framed photo of a male waiter. This waiter was working and waiting on tables while I dining in. Never have I ever seen photos of male staff in the women's bathrooms. This was just odd.

It was an experience coming to Drunken Kitchen. It shares the same venue as Beer Works, so it was kind of confusing stepping in not knowing it in advance, but also there's no attempt at migling the vibes of Beer Works and Drunken Kitchen together. They're really just sharing the service staff and the space, and that's about it. We got there for a late lunch on a weekday, but somehow the wait for food was significant. It was not crowded at all, and I could see there was only 1 person in the kitchen so maybe that explained it. The braised beef stew was the star of the show and tbh it's the dish I've heard a lot of back in the days when Drunken Kitchen only took online orders. It was a gigantic bowl, full of thick big tender chunks of beef shanks. I only wish it was a bit less salty, i.e. we need a heart and kidney-friendly version maybe? The fermented veggie was very spot on, I loved it. The handmade noodles were good too. The braised pork belly was pretty delicious, though I find the accompanying rice to be lacking, and that to me is not ok, we asians could do better than that. Overall, the braised beef stew was worth the visit and I highly recommend it.

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Don't skip on: 3 Cup Chicken, Dan Dan Noodles First time trying out DK at their restaurant and was a fantastic experience! The last time I had their food was when they were still working out of their commissary, so I'm glad to see they've upgraded and their menu has expanded! We tried a few dishes including the pan fried buns, mapo tofu, 3 cup chicken, and Dan Dan noodles. Everything was delicious! My *only* complaint is that you had to pay for extra rice. It costs so little, so I'm sad to see that you can't ask for more without an additional fee. The rice that comes with the dishes is about a cup worth and not quite enough to go with the entree (sauce/meat ratio to rice was off). Other than that, we had a great time. The staff were very welcoming and our server, Izzy was great with recommendations and was also very patient with it being our first time at the restaurant. He recommended "seasoning" a simple Coke and ginger beer and WOW, it really elevated the drinks! Loved having him at our table and creating a wonderful experience. The restaurant was well-kept and I would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back.

Finally tried this place out after seeing them all over social media. We went hoping to get Duck Fried Rice, only to discover it was a seasonal item no longer available. We opted for the Mongolian Beef and Sticky Ribs. For the good - the cocktail and beers = excellent. The sticky ribs were out of this world delicious! Do not skip them! Mongolian beef though.... Was super disappointing. The beef was so chewy and tough it wasn't even worth finishing. Hopefully we will be back to try other menu items!

It is easy to see why Drunken Kitchen has been named the best restaurant in the city for 2026. Everything we tried here was executed perfectly. The stars of the show to us were their noodle dishes. We tried their pork pot stickers and their dan dan noodles, each of which you could tell were made in house that same day with how excellent the texture of the noodles are. The potstickers are massive and paired with the dipping sauce, something I'd say is a must have from the menu. The dan dan noodles were packed with flavor. I opted for the medium spice level and found it to be a perfect level of heat for me. If you're going for lunch, the craziest deal on the menu is hands down their fried chicken bowl for just 4.99. When we saw that price, we assumed it would be just a couple of bites, we couldn't have been more wrong. The bowl came with 4 drums and 2 thighs. The chicken itself was crispy, juicy and oh so tasty with their house spice blend. To close out our already massive order we got the Taiwanese braised pork belly bowl which, to no surprise, was just as flavorful as everything else we'd tried up until this point.

I was heading south from the airport and was ravenous and thankfully found this spot right off the highway. Amazing meal! Huge portions and delicious at the same time. I will definitely be coming back. Well done folks.

Located inside of Grid City Beer Works. It's one of the best things the brewery could've done for itself as the food being made before Drunken Kitchen was incorporated into the brewery was not very good. I tried 3 items. Pork Pot Stickers, Taiwanese Fried Chicken, and Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The pot stickers were a good size and stuffed generously. I enjoyed them. The fried chicken was my favorite out of the three. Incredibly moist, out of this world crispy skin, and the sauce kicked it up a notch on the spicy heat scale. The beef noodle soup was delicious although the broth was very rich. Definitely can tell it's been braised for a long time. I was not able to finish it because of how rich it was. Which is not a bad thing. I did finish it off the next day for leftovers. Wouldn't mind returning to try other dishes. It is a little pricey for those who are on a budget. Just an FYI.

Found Drunken Kitchen on Instagram, and what brought me here was the Taiwanese fired chicken. Popcorn chicken flavors on a sandwich? Sign me up. Drunken kitchen is a pop up inside the brewery. Not sure if the owners of both are the same, but they run parallel with each other in the space. Food overall was great. Huge portion size so keep that in mind when ordering. All the food sound and are delicious, but you may be having a lot of left overs since they give you so much food. Braised beef noodle soup was comforting on a cold day. Beef was so tender, and the pickled veggies was a nice add into the soup. Takwense fried chicken was great. Massive sandwich with a ton of fries to come with it. I liked the sandwich but I think the avocado aioli wasn't needed. It kind of overshadowed the spices of the chicken. Drinks are really affordable here. You can get a 12 oz beer for $4 or a flight for $8 (with peanuts). Fun time here at Drunken Kitchen. It was a very memorable restaurant during my visit to Salt Lake.

The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I ordered the wonton soup, and the pork wontons did not taste right to me. I let the gentleman who was helping us know about the issue, and he told me, "Let me see with my manager what I can do for you." To be clear, I wasn't asking them to take the soup off my bill or give me anything for free. I simply wanted to see if they could provide a little more meat so I could finish my bowl. I thought that was a reasonable request, especially since I had already explained that the pork wontons didn't taste right. Unfortunately, the gentleman never came back to our table, and the manager never stopped by or spoke with us at all. We ended up paying the full bill, and no one even apologized or offered any kind of resolution. When the host later asked how everything was, I explained that the wonton soup wasn't as good as I expected. She simply said, "Oh, sorry." While I understand that mistakes happen, it felt like a very dismissive response, especially after we had already brought the issue to their attention. I honestly feel like the food quality at this restaurant has gone downhill. What disappointed me even more was the lack of customer service and follow-through. If a customer takes the time to politely bring up an issue, I would expect someone from management to at least come to the table and address it. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be coming back. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously because I used to have a much better impression of the food and service.

Conveniently, we are in town for a couple days and our hotel is just right down the road. It was only right to mark this joint off my SLC food list. We came in around 5 and it was empty. He dropped off a couple menus and got some waters started for us. It was my MIL's first time trying Vietnamese cuisine. It took her a minute to breeze over the menu. As much as I wanted everything, I started off with a cup of the hot and sour soup. For dinner I got the black bean shrimp with veggies. My MIL decided on the bun thit nuong with cha gio. Last minute my MIL decided on some hot and sour soup too. They were dropped off first and it was perfect for hot soup on this cold winter day. The broth was thick and flavorful. It had hearty pieces of tofu, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. The soup had a good heat to it. The heat didn't hit you right away, it gradually got spicier the more you ate it. My mouth was burning towards the end of my bowl. It was good but it could have been a bit more sour. My plate of black bean shrimp and veggies came out hot! The veggies looked fresh and colorful. The shrimp were plump. And the sauce smelled flavorful and salty from the fermented black bean. You can tell my dish just came out fresh from the wok. The veggies and shrimp were so hot! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The zucchini, green peppers and bamboo shoots were my favorite. All the veggies were covered in sauce, probably the best way to eat your veggies. I ate the whole plate! I'm not the biggest fan of water chestnuts and I even polished those off. My dish was fantastic. Jay did a great job serving us tonight. He was patient and attentive. After staff recommended on Yelp that I try the Lotus Delight with vegan chicken next time, I went online to order it. The website said they were out of vegan chicken, so I called to ask if I could get tofu instead. They told me I could just write it in the order notes. At no point--not on Yelp, not on their website, and not over the phone--was I told there would be an upcharge. The online system showed the option without any price tag, making it look like a standard modification. When I got there, I was rung up for an extra $5.44 for just six tiny pieces of tofu, bringing my total to $25. For context, the base vegetable and rice dish already cost $20--the same price as dishes that come with protein. To make matters worse, their physical in-store menu lists adding vegan chicken as $3.00, so being charged nearly $5.50 for a tiny amount of tofu is excessive. Surprising customers with hidden fees after they specifically ask about options is poor service. I'd like a refund for the tofu, or I'll just do a chargeback for it. Either way, I won't be coming back. Update: I received a refund for the tofu, as well as a personal phone call!

The quality, authenticity, and consistency are evident in every bite. Whether you're ordering through DoorDash or dining in, do yourself a favor and try this place. Honestly, everything I tasted was exceptional, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the entire menu. One of the best Chinese food experiences I've had in years. An absolute hidden gem that deserves every bit of recognition it has received. P.S. I'm a professional food photographer, so I photograph and taste food almost every day. During my visit, everyone I saw working there was Chinese, and the staff was friendly and professional. I don't know why some reviews claim there are Mexican workers--it honestly seems like an attempt to damage the restaurant's reputation.
