I went here for a friends birthday dinner and it was perfect for a group of 5! Some of the dishes I loved were the Eva's pizza and steak Bruschetta.

Such cozy vibes with relaxing music to boot. The space was thoughtfully decorated, intentional and minimal. The perfect spot for a meal to unwind. The food: Quality fresh ingredients (best watermelon salad I've had, and crispy trout that made me say: "yummmm"). Delicious cocktails. My go to is always a gimlet (refreshing and light) so I gave their garden gimlet a try. Did not disappoint. While these may be listed as small plates the portions are generous compared to other experiences I've had. Price point is great too! Expected to pay much more. Kind staff, no one's rushing you along which was so nice - very chill vibes. Overall so happy to make this my first meal out in SLC.

Great experience at Eva! Loved the ambiance and the food. -Brussel sprouts - we couldn't help but laugh at the portion size. About 4-6 bites total. The dish did have great flavor but wouldn't get again because of the portion. -Steak - delicious flavor, so tender, and reasonable portion -Lobster ravioli - came with 3 ravioli. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious -Wild mushroom pizza - left something to be desired and didn't have a ton of flavor. Least favorite dish. Would recommend the steak and ravioli, both for portion sizes and flavor!

This restaurant is LOVELY. From the food, to the service, to the setting, we LOVED Eva. I have been dying to go here for years now and finally got to try it while celebrating my birthday. My husband and I visited the restaurant with reservations on on Saturday night. This restaurant is simple and beautiful. We got to sit at the table closest to the kitchen which was a fun experience as well. Eva is a well-oiled machine and these guys know what they're doin!! The food was beautiful and delicious. Every plate was seasoned perfectly and we really enjoyed the "tapas-styled" menu. Though it is pricey, it was worth it. We got to try the togarashi fried chicken, grilled asparagus with poached egg, Eva's steak, Eva's pizza with pepperoni, and an unforgettable plate of the spinach & potato gnocchi. You guys....please do not visit this restaurant without trying the gnocchi. The flavor was so smooth and savory. It was a perfect dish. Check this off your list if you've been wanting to try it, I promise you will be pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the food is.

An amazing place ! Great food and great atmosphere. The place feels cozy and the staff was really kind and friendly. No main meals but a diversity of small dishes to share. Perfect option to try different flavors. The harissa carrots were good spicy but a little more of hummus should have perfect. The wild mushroom pizza was delicious with a delicate touch of truffle oil The steak bruschetta was good and simple And finally the lamb chops were perfectly good and juicy. I totally recommend this place if you stop by Salt Lake City

Service is stellar! The food was incredible I would recommend this to literally everyone. Left feeling full. It isn't very cheap so be prepared. We did 10 dishes for 3 people and everyone left perfectly full. No full cocktail list is confusing but if you can dream it they can make it. Loved how homey and personal the space felt!

Perfection. This is a small but slightly fancy tapas restaurant that is worth every penny. I ordered the fig and pig pizza with a sticky date pudding for $29.39 and I loved every bite. The pizza was a perfect balance of salty and sweet. The date pudding was sweet (but not cloying) and moist. I would order these exact items again but there were other items on the menu that I also want to try out. I would come back here again and I would be friends.

The server was so nice here. I asked questions if things were good. And his recommendations were good on the Brussels sprouts. My friend had a pizza she didn't like and changed it to the same kind I had. I really liked the Brussels sprouts and the Eve pizza was really good. I made a good choice with no meat on it. The seating was nice. Almost all booths which I like. Low lighting but a vibe that definitely fits what you expect. Music a tad loud so you do have to raise your voice. Overall not bad but not somewhere I'd go frequently.

We went to Eva Restaurant SLC for our 15-year anniversary and they did not disappoint. We started the meal with a few cocktails (Bees Knees, Forêt, and the Player Piano special) and some of Eva's Bakery Bread. I really enjoyed the Bees Knees and my husband loved his Forêt. The Player Piano was super bitter and unique. Our small plates came out in a rapid fire way, which was fine because we were grazing on them all together. We got the Slow-Roasted Tri-Tip Bruschetta, Fig and Pig Pizza, Charred Beets, and Shrimp and Grits (which my husband wasn't a fan of). The servings were bigger than expected. The server comped a Warm Banana Bread Pudding to celebrate our anniversary, which was alright but needed more ice cream. Overall the service was amazing and the food was reasonably priced for the small plate sizes. Sadly the beautiful open patio was covered due to the weather, but the atmosphere was still good. This is in downtown SLC, so just be prepared to search for a parking spot on busier days.

Eva in three words: Elegant, Affordable, Delicious. While Eva may be easy to miss while driving downtown, once you've dined here you'll want to stop here whenever you're in the area. This place is fantastic for impressing friends, family, and significant others. My friends and I were all first-timers and were very impressed by the food, service, and ambiance. I love the small plates style. It allows everyone to get something they want and share with others if they so choose. My friends and I chose Eva's Pizza, Brussel Sprouts, the Lobster Ravioli, and the Bread and Butter. While everything was tasty, I'd have to say the Lobster Ravioli was my top favorite. Our server was attentive and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was perfect in the back near the indoor fireplace, string lights, and low but cheerful music. Eva's is the best restaurant I've visited in SLC so far. I'll be back ASAP!

Food and service are SO AMAZING! Very cozy establishment with shareable portions and amazing flavors that blend so well with the other dishes! Ive never had vegetables mixed with the combination of cheese, herbs, fruit and spices that they offered! The meat (we had the steak and lamb) was cooked to perfection with seasoning and sauces that are still making my mouth water! Gerhig was our server and he was so friendly and knowledgeable, offering advice for my wifes several food allergies along with being attentive to us throughout the evening! I cannot over recommend this place, its going to be our new GOTO place whenever we find ourselves up SLC!!

    Grilled Asparagus
    Rayce V.

This has become my favorite restaurant in SLC. They have a wide variety of plates that are all delicious, unique, and relatively affordable. My partner and I's go-to dinner for two is the asparagus, tri-tip bruschetta, Eva's steak (sometimes we replace the steak with fried chicken, or crispy trout), and the lobster ravioli. We most recently came here for my birthday and I couldn't have picked a better place!

    Bonnie D.

Four friends and I visited Eva to share some outstanding tapas, and Eva did NOT disappoint! It was difficult finding a time that worked for all five of us, so we ended up doing a walk-in for an early dinner; we were seated without a wait, and then the venue filled up quickly. We ordered quite a number of small plates to share, and asked our server to bring them whenever they were ready.  It was obvious with all the food that all the ingrients used were carefully selected and fresh, and everything was totally delicious! Tip: The portion sizes here are quite a bit larger than many of the other tapas restaurants I've visited previously Having tried quite a good cross-section of Eva's menu, I'm pleased to report that it's pretty difficult to go wrong with whatever you decide to try.  I especially enjoyed the cauliflower and the pizzas, with honorable mention going to the bread and "The End" dessert as well. I have no hesitation recommended this place to anyone interested in trying some truly delicious, premium tapas - I won't hesitate to return either :-)

The wine list is long, though there is not much by the glass. The reds we tried were good. The Crianza was my favorite, young and light but still flavorful, with a subtle dry finish. We ordered tortilla española, torta de cecina, patatas bravas, mejillones, and pinchos morunos. Everything had great flavor. There was some inconsistency with temperature. The patatas came out just warm, while other dishes were very hot. The pinchos morunos turned out to be more like a meatball on a stick. That may have been my misunderstanding, but when I see lamb pincho I expect grilled pieces of lamb. They were tasty, just more basic than I expected. For dessert we had churros. This may be personal preference, but I like to pick up a churro and dip it in chocolate without it breaking apart. These were more like a fried cake in the shape of a churro and required a spoon. They also have what looks like a very nice patio for good weather. I would be a bit concerned about speed of service if the patio is full, since the kitchen seems quite small. Overall, it was a good experience with well executed and flavorful tapas.

I feel like the hostess must have unexpectedly been out because the folks managing seating and reservations seemed a little lost. This was our first time here and I was pretty concerned about what the rest of our experience would be. We got to our table and then sat there for 10 minutes without any kind of greeting. Following the disorganization of getting seated, we weren't sure what was happening and almost left. I'm so glad we stayed. Once our server greeted us, it was smooth the rest of the evening. We ordered drinks (Old Fashioned and wine), both were excellent. Someone brought delicious soft rolls with olive oil and balsamic vinegar-excellent. We stuck with tapas and the portions were bigger than expected. We had a whole lineup of items we wanted, but filled up after three. We ordered a charcuterie plate that was an off menu special. Iberico and a truffle manchego cheese and a rosemary manchego cheese served with toasted baguette and grapes. It was delicious! We also ordered the Gambas Al ajillo salsa Roja (shrimp in a red sauce) and the Pulpo à la gallega (octopus). The shrimp were incredible. I could have eaten the sauce with a spoon. Okay, I DID eat the sauce with a spoon and then asked for more bread to sop it up. The octopus was a surprise. My husband ordered it and I was prepared to try a small bite. It was fantastic. The octopus was nicely chewy without being rubbery at all. And it was served with potatoes in a thin sauce that tasted like olive oil and paprika and onion. So good. We looked at the desserts and my heart said yes while my full stomach said no. I almost ordered the crème brûlée cake to go, but decided to come back another day. Our server (Zack) was great! I really think something happened with the hostess because the rest of the evening was so smooth. Very interesting interior. My parents had made reservations for an extended family dinner to celebrate some family birthdays. We hadn't seen my brother and sister-in-law for over 3 months, so I was REALLY looking forward to spending the evening with them. The food was good, although my son was disappointed that they didn't have the full charcuterie board that we had ordered back in the summer. My steak was cooked perfectly, but the au gratin potatoes were incredibly unevenly salty. Like so salty in a few spots, I actually nearly gagged. After a few bites, I gave up and left them on the plate. While we were finishing our entrees, our server came and said that she had noticed we brought gifts and told us that we might want to start opening them because they had a party of 25 coming and needed our table. I thought that was rather rude because several of us were still eating. But those who had finished their entrees started opening gifts. And our server is trying to quickly clear the table and knocked over my husband's glass of Coke which spilled onto his lap. She brought out a wet towel for him to use to clean up, but instead of politely handing it to him, she threw it across the table for him to catch. Soon she came back with the check, and I asked her, "Don't we get to have dessert?" To which she replied, "You can if you know what you want or decide really quickly because we have that party of 25 coming." Look, we were not a huge party, but we had seven people and it was a BIRTHDAY celebration. We should be allowed to have enough time to have appetizers, entrees, AND dessert. We should also have time for presents and time to enjoy conversation without repeated reminders of another party who needs the table we are using. The rushed feeling, the spilled drinks, and the repeated reminders of this other party who was coming (because obviously they were more important and we had to get out of the restaurant quickly so they could have our table) ruined the mood and the celebration and left a really bad taste in my mouth. Especially when one of our party mentioned it to the manager and all he said was "I'm sorry, I hope you'll come again." Ha! Not likely. Not after being treated like that. I'm not going to give them an opportunity for a repeat performance of such crappy treatment.

Found this place and ordered miso soup, salad, sashimi, and two rolls. Everything tasted fine, the service was fine, and I left. Not even halfway to the hotel, which was 20 minutes away, my head started pounding and my stomach was turning. I thought I was catching a cold, maybe being under dressed for the weather (even though had layered up). I barely made it to the parking lot and basically vomited my dinner. I then spent the next hour in the bathroom, after which I felt relieved, so in a way I was glad that I wasn't getting sick. I figured it had to be the food and after I felt better I decided to call Mint to at least let them know that maybe something was in the food so at least they might prevent this for someone else. The manager apologized for my experience and that was it. I think it was either something in the food or had remembered earlier at the dinner all the employees were in the kitchen and I guess one of the sushi chef's just adopted a dog. Everyone was saying how cute it was and petting it, which I thought nothing of at the time other than it being cute. Then because of my experience, I don't really recall that chef, who was the one serving me, ever really leaving my sight or washing his hands. Just speculation of course but hey I got food poisoning from something. And anyone that knows me, knows that I always wash my hands before a meal, especially if I've been in the field working that day. I thought of posting here, but whatever it was over with and I'm busy. The next day, I got a voicemail letting me know that they felt bad for my experience and would compliment the dinner. I thought that was a nice gesture so I returned the message and left a voicemail of my own. No response, and I tried two more times over the next week. So here we are two weeks after and I'm thinking of sharing the story or not. Maybe they thought I was grifting for a free dinner and changed their mind, so that's why they didn't call me back? Maybe no one else got sick and there was no way to prove my story other than my word. Maybe they thought because I saw the dog, I would use that as an opportunity to eat for free? I never asked for my meal to get comped, I just wanted the establishment to know so they could prevent it from happening to someone else. Again, wasn't planning on sharing this on Yelp, but this happened two weeks ago and I feel that if I didn't share my experience it would be like a tree falling in a forest, does it even make a sound or did it really happen? Yes this actually happened to me so I'm letting management know that I'm not some anonymous guy that was trying to victimize myself for a free meal.

The miso soups were delicious and priced well. The jalapeño hamachi is an award winning dish and I can see why. It was SO good. My husband actually saved the vinaigrette to try with other dishes. We also enjoyed the beef tataki, I did feel like it was a little on the chewy side but overall good. We loved the moonlight roll, the flavors and sweetness were good, I did feel like it was missing heat from the spicy tuna. The apollo roll was good, this roll also had spicy tuna and it was definitely hotter. Mint met our expectations and will definitely be a contender for our next sushi date night.
