The food here was actually really good and tasted fresh, which isn't always the case at buffets. There was a nice variety to choose from classic Chinese dishes and a Mongolian grill. The place was clean, and the staff kept things well stocked. It's a great spot if you're craving a bit of everything at a fair price. I'd definitely come back again when I'm in the mood for a fresh buffet meal.

The food is horrendous! False advertisement ! Does not look like anything they advertise online. The sushi is mushy and old. The seafood boil has zero flavor. There was hair on the plates. I Would not recommend. Total waste of money!!!

Nope, never again. I'm not sure what happened to this place but a large portion of the food is now inedible. Let's start with the sushi. It's terrible. And I'm not a picky eater. I do the half of sushi places with no issue. I even like the Costco sushi. The limited amount of raw seafood was just old and fishy tasting. I hope I don't get sick from the 3 pieces I ate. Just a hard pass. Next onto the hot food bar. This had some ok items, noodles, sweet and sour chicken. But also lots of dried flavorless items. The beef and broccoli was 95% broccoli with 5% dried up beef Lastly and most importantly the cleanliness. This place is filthy. From the carpet (why have a carpet in a restaurant?). To the signs, exterior basically anything that's not the table you eat at. It's disgusting.

I dined during the buffet's lunch period. The Mongolian grill and sushi bar were open, as well as the food islands. I tried their seafood bake, which is imitation crab with a white sauce and cheese. This pairs well with their shrimp from another food island. Their baked fish was good as well. Just be careful with the bones. They served Thai chicken, wings, and a fried crab mix? I'm not sure if I'd try the crab mix again, but the chicken was good. Their dim sum dumplings were great! It was the best dim sum from a buffet I've had. Overall, it's a good buffet.

Overall impression: I've been here more than any other restaurant in Utah if that's telling you something Average price: $13.55/dinner; 9.55/lunch (price just increased a little) Customer service Outstanding considering that this place is a serve-yourself Buffet. They are really great with serving water, taking dirty plates, keeping the buffet area well-stocked and clean. There's a sign that says that sushi older than 3 hours has to be thrown out, which I really appreciate. And the Mongolian bbq is great. Food For what you're paying for, they sure have a ton of stuff. I would recommend eating mainly the Chinese stuff and the Mongolian bbq. The sushi and the seafood is actually not that great. But the dessert is awesome, including the chocolate fountain. Value It's totally worth $13 Ambience Very clean. Huge place with lots of seating. Free parking.

We wanted to see how a Chinese buffet here in SLC was and it was pretty good tbh. The only critique I would give this place is that service was a bit slow and the sushi bar wasn't as fresh as I thought it would be. Other than that it was pretty good food and service (:

The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Thank you for the delicious food

We stumbled upon Great Wall and gave it a shot. The inside was a little different in a weird way. There was only three tables in the front and the back had a lounge area. I believe there were more tables hidden behind the curtain. We ordered: Fried rice - the corn in the fried rice tasted almost spoiled Beef brocoli - the beef was tender but not as tasty or fresh Garlic ribs - cut into small portions was not what I expected and a little dry Only great was the service and those fruit on a stick in the glass counter. The high prices was not worth it.

This tastes like mom's kitchen if mom had a high flamed gas stove. The dishes that benefited from that smoky hot wok flavor had it. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take pics of all the dishes at the table. Green beans with garlic was so tasty, I finished the leftovers the same night, I remembered to take a photo in the takeout container. The cauliflower (I don't know the actual name but it's stir fried, spicy and comes with peppers) had wok hei and I couldn't stop eating it. Beef rolls is the sophisticated auntie of the scallion pancake. Think of it like an asian burrito with thin sliced beef, fresh scallion and cilantro, and a touch of hoisin all hugged together with a crispy tasty scallion pancake. The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I am from out of town but I grew up eating at NYC Asian restaurants and this is as good as if not better. If you happen to stop by the largest Costco in the world, make a pit stop here to refuel after all those steps.

I got to put my order in pretty quickly and it wasn't long till my shu mai and haw gar came out. My fried shrimp dumplings and taro cake came shortly after. I was in heaven! The dim sum here is so good! I had everything to myself since my husband doesn't really eat Chinese food. The fried shrimp dumplings are my favorite! They are crispy. The shrimp in it middle is savory and chewy. The sweet sauce it is paired with is a match made in heaven! The taro cake was hot and charry from the wok. The shu mai and haw gar were good but you can tell they were previously heated and just sitting in the warmer. They could have been hotter and the exterior could have been softer. Even though they were perfect, they were still fabulous. The service isn't the best and after my first initial visit I knew to keep my expectations low. I come here for the food and it delivers every time! I ate everything and didn't have an ounce of guilt for doing so. We don't have dim sum like this in Boise so I made sure I enjoyed and savored every bite! We also got the mixed meat & veggie pot which was not good. 80% of the "meat" was fried tofu, the rest of it was very overcooked, and it had no real flavor.
