Today my sister, my friend, and I went to Temecula Panera. We had the worst food ever. I ordered the picked two with turkey, avocado, and bacon and I spent more to add American cheese, with the Greek salad. My sandwich had No Bacon. My salad had no cucmber which I asked for, with stale croutons and the lady working there didn't even give me a fork or a pat of butter for the bread. Worst of all, my salad had a blueberries in it. I'm allergic to, blueberries. I had to find a manager to tell him what happened. He seemed lost and wasn't sure what to do. I had to ask him for a refund. That facility must need help with cross contamination, or there just not being sanitary enough with there salads. I believe, if you pay for good food you should receive good service. I like Panera bread's food, it's one of my favorites when I want something quick and simple. We dined here on Friday night before heading down to San Diego and I was a bit disappointed in the service. I ordered half a sandwich and pasta and my husband order half a sandwich and mac & cheese. They brought our food to the table and forgot my pasta so I mentioned it as the server walked away and he said he would check it out. They completely forgot to make it so I had to wait another 5-10 minutes to receive the second part of my meal. You could tell it was rushed and it wasn't as hot as it should of been upon serving it up. The server was nice and upfront about the error and I appreciate honesty so I won't knock him at all. Everything else was fine. I'm sure I'll be back, just pay attention to the orders! read more

It's very close to my work so I enjoy walking here for a nice lunch. I would say it's a little pricy for sandwiches and such but the food has always been delicious. There is usually a line, espcially during the lunch hour since it is directly across from a huge company. My favorite item is the chipotle chicken sandwich. Lightly toasted and just enough kick without causing you to grab a drink. A half sandwich and soup/salad is always a good way to go as it makes for a perfect lunch portion. read more

My family loves it here! The kids get exactly what they want, and when they share the Pick 2 items we save money and food is never wasted! Eating outside is always comfortable. No real change in the food here - generally good sandwiches, salad and soup. Yummy looking baked goods although nothing gluten free yet. What surprised us was the number of unbussed, dirty tables. I had the new steak and white cheddar panini with the broccoli cheddar soup and my wife had the smokehouse turkey panini with the creamy tomato soup. My sandwich had a measly among of meat, it looked nothing like the picture. My wife's sandwich had a hair grilled to it and the soup tasted like water, not creamy tomato. I was never a big fan of panera bread coz of their very limited selection of food items.Besides, I associated it more like a place where you study. It'd be kinda not pleasurable to eat your food when someone sitting next to you is slaving away and studying.. Lol Anyway, the point of this review is to hopefully improve things. First, I ordered a Sonoma chicken soup but they didn't have it. So I had to order some salad and yes I had to kinda imply that I didn't wanna pay more for some salad so they absorbed the price difference. But I truly got what I paid for. I got a plate of withered lettuce and chunks of poisonous-looking, rotten pieces of cilantro in my plate. I mean I know I got it for a discounted price but they didnt have to be so rude and show me that I get the leftovers since I only paid $4.99 for a soup that they didn't have and the salad was supposed to be $6+ .. Oh well i wasn't wrong in the first place why I wasn't a big fan of this rip off place. read more

I absolutely love the pick two option. I hate going out to eat and getting a huge portion of something just to have half of it still left on my plate. The pick two gives you half a sandwich and half a soup or salad or in my case Mac n cheese. I love love love their mac n cheese. Hits the spot every time and goes great with the tuna sandwich. We have visited this Panera for most of the 14 years we have lived here. Over the last 12 months the food and cleanliness has deteriorated. We were customers that frequented the restaurant twice a week, but no more. The last few trips we found the place looking very dirty and unkept. We had a problem with our order and the manager could have cared less. He was nearly unresponsive and the place was largely empty at 8:30 PM. Go at your own risk. We are bummed....generally love the food, but the filth everywhere else will make you wonder about the condition of what is not easily seen. read more

Poor service on a Monday night. Air conditioner was so high my wife and I choose to eat outside. Waited for a Mediterranean veggie sandwich and soup. Went inside to check on order and it was sitting on the counter. My wife's soup was cold and I requested a new bowl. Self serve I guess. Panera Bread has improved! The menu has always been great-now, after they have hired a new Manager, the restaurant has improved considerably. My husband and I have loved this place for years. We often go there for a change of pace. For the past two or three years, it was neglected. Little things like the seats were soiled, the walls were dirty. The dining room overall, was just not clean. This past week, my husband and I visited again, after not going there for some time. I noticed someone 'repairing' a piece of molding on a trash receptacle. Turns out, the Manager was fixing it!! We started a conversation with him, and he told us he started there four months ago. I sure can tell!! Keep up the great job!!! It is great to see a place with a fantastic menu-and a great hands on Manager too!! read more

Lets just say, I have built a ton of Panera Breads in so cal and am currently building one in Palm Desert. I have eaten there before and thought it was nothing special, then I ate there yesterday and had a great experience. Its my wifes favorite place, so I tagged along. This Panera is excellent, but especially Sonia, she is such a great worker and was so accommodating and nice to me & my sister. I asked her where a power outlet was and she helped me to find one, and then also was very pleasant when she brought the food over. The Panera closed at 10pm, but they let us stay there for a little longer until like 10:15pm and she even asked us "Hey would you guys like to grab refills on your lemonade, we are about to close up?" She was so kind and such a hard worker, and deserves great recognition! Thanks for making our experience so great! read more
