I came here for another pickup and it was a success. I think they changed the process where your order isn't immediately placed on the pickup rack to prevent theft. Works for me! A couple of years ago, I had a large order for pick up and I saw this lady grab a bag off the rack without even looking at the name on the order. It was very suspicious and I knew in my heart she stole someone's order. It ended up being mine. I hope karma has found her way to her. I can only hope. After ordering my meal I inquired about my drink and Sandy the assistant manager said I will receive my Passion fruit energy drink at the end with my order. Then a seemingly nice young worker calls my name and upon receipt of my order still no drink and no extra order of French bread, just a small extra side in the bag. I told the young girl I wanted a large piece of bread not a side order and she says oh, don't worry I will fix this for you. So, she gives me the bread I had in mind, and I finally get my beverage from Sandy. I am sitting down waiting for my ride home and I can hear them talking about me. First the manager was rude to me, then rude to her young associate for giving me a whole bread, then they both began to speak about me negatively, going as far as saying "I don't know why people like that come here". After a few years I finally returned a month ago, and oh my gosh everything is SO delicious now. Dropped by to get my unlimited sip club beverage today. Service was ok. I did the mobile order and waited for it at the counter. On the screen it said it was ready and when I waited there the staff said I had took it already. ‍ anyways I told her my order again and she was nice enough to give me another cup. I have been visiting Panera more and more now that I signed up for their Sip club which is great to get various drinks every couple hours during the day. Great as I travel around a lot. First time coming to this location, very clean and nice. The people preparing the food were very nice, I was put off a bit when I believe a Manager approached me and asked why I was taking pictures, I responded "For Yelp" which usually ends it, but she continued and said I need to let them know before taking pictures as it is private property. Just kind of felt a bit rudish, but I guess I understand. Been getting the Green Goddess Cobb salad on most visits and this visit. It is very good, fresh and you can customize how you like it, removing or adding ingredients, I like it very much. You always get a side or your choice and since I have the Sip club, my drink is free. I do really like Panera and the fresh healthier options, the one draw back is that it can be quite expensive overall without promos or other discounts. I ordered a Mediterranean sandwich and requested to add turkey lunch meat. The sandwich was VERY poorly built. It lacked in all the Ingredients and looked like a 5 year old put it together. To top it off they did not place any turkey lunch meat. My order was a delivery. When my lunch break came around I was severely disappointed that I was not provided with the meal I payed for. I go to this location a few times a month. Today I went in and the person who took my order was very nice. I believe their name is Misty. While eating lunch I heard someone at the register say loudly say, "Step off!" I looked over and saw one of the managers (Gloria) yelling at the person who took our order. She did this with a whole line of people waiting to order. This is so unprofessional! Gloria never looks happy and is not friendly to customers. Later Gloria came out to collect the dishes under the trash bins and was slamming them around VERY loudly! I saw the person who took our order leaving and they did not look happy. Management is clearly not doing their job well to train or control the product going out. I love the Panera in Murrieta, and this one is nothing like it. They "smash" every sandwich they make. A couple of the sandwiches they make with a different bread than the rest of the franchise, which is odd. So you never know what you are going to get when you order. I have tried this location for months now... The quality is terrible. This is supposed to be an egg, bacon sandwich on a croissant. Great service, pretty pricey, my sandwich was pretty basic for almost $8 and it wasn't impressive albeit very filling. Their papaya green tea was yummy and refreshing. Today is July 16, 2025. This is my first time at this Panera Bread. The service when you walk in was friendly by the young gentleman at the register. But that's where my good experience ended. I ordered the strawberry poppyseed chicken salad, you would think you really dont have to spend alot of time of putting this meal together. The time was 15 minutes, they forgot the chicken and salad dressing, I had to go back several times to the "cook" he was not very happy as though I was the one that made these mistakes for an $18 salad was not worth it. It took me four years to return with my wife to eat at Panera Bread, albeit she has returned several times since then. I must admit that I now have to raise the rating from 3 to 4 stars. I had their turkey and bacon sandwich (not sure what the name is they give it) and a side salad. This sandwich was well prepared and easy on the eyes (see photos). The taste was really, really, good, which I was surprised about. The salad was crisp and tasty as well. I truly enjoyed my meal. We also bought a pastry to share, which was also pretty good. I reminded my wife that I was not a big fan of the place, but changed my mind if this is how they now rolled, that I would join her here again in the future with no qualms and that I needed to raise the review rating I had slapped upon them. Fast forward 2 weeks and she asked if I had taken care of the rating (oops, no), thus here I am falling on the sword. The only difference I notice in their operation is that you now have to retrieve your own order at the service window when they call your name. No more wait service at all, I presume. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time--and all over a missing drink. I placed a delivery order with this Panera because I wasn't feeling well and didn't have the energy to leave the house. I'm a Sip Club member and was really looking forward to my drink to help me take my medicine (caffeine helps it work better). The sandwich and cookie arrived--but the drink was missing. Okay. Mistakes happen. So I called the store. I was placed on hold twice, for over 5 minutes each time. When I finally spoke to someone and explained the issue, she said "Well, the driver took the drink when they left here." As if that was supposed to resolve anything. I repeated--politely--that I did not receive the drink. I don't care what the driver did; it didn't make it to my door. There was no delivery photo, no text or notification confirming drop-off--none of the usual third-party app procedures. I was passed between three different employees, all giving me the same unhelpful line: that the drink "left the store." Not one person acknowledged the obvious--that I paid for delivery and my full order was not delivered. Then, instead of offering any real solution--like sending someone to drop off the drink (I live two minutes away) or crediting my Sip Club or reaching out to the third-party delivery service--the last employee got noticeably irritated with me and said she'd "just refund the whole order so we don't have to worry about it." She was clearly annoyed and dismissive, and hung up with a snippy "you're welcome" like I'd wasted her time. What's worse? I've had Panera fix this before. At a different location, a manager actually brought the missing item themselves. It was thoughtful, kind, and simple. Not here. Instead, I was treated like a burden--for simply asking to receive what I ordered. I've been a loyal customer. I've ordered from this Panera many times. But today I was made to feel like I was lying or making a big deal over "just a drink"--when that drink was literally the reason I ordered in the first place. And being made to feel like I was inconveniencing them for their own error? Absolutely unacceptable. Do better, Panera. read more

The staff is absolutely rude, my family and i went to grab a quick coffee and sweet treat however the staff was sure to tell us they closed in an hour( which we were fully aware). I go there at least once a day 7 days a week for coffee and snacks. For the last couple of months it has consistently been sub par. iCE machine for self serve down. Which means if you want ice in your beverage you must ask someone behind the counter. They are usually hustling their butts back there working on lunch orders so they don't see you there waiting to get your cup filled with ice. The syrup in the soda machine empty, No coffee ready during the peak times. You'd think the manager would anticipate the busy times when people are limited for time during their lunch break. Bathrooms are a mess. Expect the floors to be wet if you you to the Temecula location. And this is at 10 am not peak times. The trash can outside the front doors is always spilling over. If you've been to this location I'm sure you've seen the famous erupting trash can. I like Panera I just wish they would tighten up their store a bit. Well upon arrival TRASH EVERYWHERE HORRIBLE attracts rodents bugs , did almost turn around but my mother wanted there broccoli cheddar soup. Not our best meal here today, though we usually leave happier. I look forward to their summer Strawberry Poppy Seed Salad. I got the big bowl and it had a lot more fruits in it than I remember. It was good, but a little too sweet for me. Fortunately, the baguette balanced it out a little. Hubby had a half a chicken salad sandwich but it was quite skimpy. He estimates that he got 2 or 3 Tablespoons is all of filling.
