I stopped in today to get a quick lunch and had mixed feelings about this place. Service was a solid 4, I was promptly greeted and my salad was ready pretty quickly. The food and the cleanliness of the dining area were both lacking, rating a 2. There were a number of empty tables to choose from, but none of them were clean. I had to get some napkins to wipe off the table and seat. My chicken caesar salad was mostly croutons, had hardly any lettuce and was missing cheese. The food was good. Well, it's Panera. So as good as Panera gets. It was absolutely nobody at the counter to take your order. You had to order through the kiosks. Personally, hate that. Once my food showed up, that's what I got my coffee cup. So I had to take my tray over to the very small coffee counter to try to prepare coffee. I was like creamers, sugar, etc., we're all low or empty. I don't use those things, but the lady next to me was desperately trying to figure it out looking through cabinets and trying to find someone to help her. She was unsuccessful. When I went to sit in a booth, I did not realize that apparently someone had spilled soda or something in the seat and it had dried. So now, my gym shorts are all sticking to anywhere I sit and who knows what they look like. Thank you so much, Panera. I know they don't have control over the people in the restaurant, but people sit there with children playing a video game which repeats over and over and over again, it's just rude. Kind staff - greeted upon entry and was helped in an efficient manner. Overall the restaurant was strewn with trash and food. The soda beverage machine was blasting a loud noise to the point my watch set off multiple alerts letting me know how loud my surroundings were. It was difficult to carry on a conversation with my dining partner due to the sound. For note: bathrooms are controlled by a key pad for entry and signage states for customers only. Not sure what issues they may experienced in the past but it must be frequent if it requires locked multi stall bathrooms. Terrible set-up in an emergent situation. The staff at this location is always kind and courteous. They work hard to get orders out as fast as possible. Given it's location it's often busy during peak hours. I usually place my order via the app and it's ready for pickup when I arrive about 15 minutes later. My orders are always correct and food is your typical panera food. I love their "sip" club where you can get coffees & drinks every day for a flat fee. Panera really did a great job with this program. Yet I am here today, the ice machine has been down for 5 days (since Wednesday), the light roast was empty, the creamer was empty, and there were not any large cup lids. I really don't want to complain, but I feel like management is not doing their best to set the staff up for success. In fact! The only reason I'm not giving it a one star is that the people here are hard working, lovely people. The staff members I've met have all been fantastic, but it's hard to set a great atmosphere when you don't even have a working ice machine in the middle of May. read more

I ordered curbside pickup from here last night! For gluten free folks, they don't have as many options as you'd hope but the ones they do have are really good. I ordered the tomato soup and Mediterranean bowl. I LOVE this bowl, but it is supposed to come with hummus and mine didn't. That was rather disappointing. However, Panera's Covid procedures are great. My favorite places to go to now are ones that have curbside pickup where you can let them know you're there through the app instead of calling. Please make sure you look at the hours of all nearby Paneras before you head out. This one was a little out of the way, but it was the closest one to me that was open until 9 on a Tuesday. To begin I was greeted at the register with poor, ignorant service! The cashier made a snooty comment about the meal that I ordered, saying, "that's a little too much cheese for one meal." The food is actually usually good and the staff somewhat friendly, so I keep going back since it is nearby adn convenient. That said, the issue is that the coffee is frequently empty in the morning, the breakfast menu signage is not turned around from the night before. And the worst issue is the vagrants that lay around in this restaurant. I have seen some pouring alcohol under the table into Panera cups so they look like a customer then they just sleep in the booths or near the fireplace. I have seen cops come in to chase some out. One went into the bathroom last Sunday and never came out. I cannot imagine letting my kids use that bathroom. After this past weekend, I think we are done with this restaurant. 7/25/20: We ordered online & picked our order up curbside. Our food was fresh and delicious. They ran out of my favorite blueberry muffins, but that's what I get for getting there at 3 pm. It is located in the busy Willow Lawn shopping center & they don't have a drive thru window. This isn't the cheapest place to eat. I got a kids meal with chicken noodle soup & Chips, and I paid $5.19 + tax for that tiny cup. I would recommend this location if you're in the area. read more

Yet again, we had a terrible experience at this Panera location. We generally like Panera for the food and service but this location is horrible. We have decided to stop patronizing it even though it is the closest location to where we live. If you order on line, you should build in about 15 minutes to the time you want to get your order because they are always very late. In the morning, there are long periods of time when there is literally no coffee available. Worst is the way the staff treats you. If you even ask about your order, you get yelled at and told that they are doing the best they can when in truth they are not hurrying at all and are chatting each other up. There is no concept at all of customer service or even of being polite to customers. Panera really needs to do something to improve this location because it is a black eye for them. read more

I left my lunch at home today and decided to have Panera deliver because I'm lazy. I've had Panera delivery once before when my boss offered to buy lunch and at that time I got the chili and chips and had no qualms. This time I ordered around 12:15pm and I received my order by 12:50ish. I ordered the Alfredo tortellini pasta with a side tomato mozzarella flatbread and I'm not too impressed. I don't think the tortellini was thoroughly cooked (they were pretty firm). The Alfredo sauce they use is very salty and leaves a weird aftertaste in my mouth. And the tomato mozzarella flatbread...where's the mozzarella? I had about a half dollar size blob in the whole thing. And the flatbread was already very soggy by the time I received my order. I don't know if these pitfalls can be avoided by dining in, but I'm hesitant to pursue this lunch option in the future. read more

This is a decent Panera location. I have not had any bad experiences there, but the food seems different the last couple times I have been there. They tend to be out of the soup that is listed, and the ingredients did not seem as high quality as they used to be. I am still giving this location 5 stars, because the service has always nice, the food has tasted pretty good and they keep the location clean. When we are in the area and wanting a sandwich this is usually our go to location. I will keep coming here until something changes, and they even deliver so you do not always need to come to the location. read more

I've never been a fan of Panera. The food was good but overrated and overpriced. And small portions. Everyone dining in seemed to be having some kind of "meeting." Seemed like a place for posers. I ended up there last night because I was in the mood for a salad and couldn't think of anywhere else to go. Well, I was pleasantly surprised at how much Panera has changed in 10 years, starting with the menu. Many salads to choose from now, and all are beyond the old school tomato and cucumber. There are many sandwiches and several soups now, too. I was also impressed with the many ways to order. Via app. Via installed computer stations. Or walk up to the counter and talk to someone. Price is still on the high side. Portions are still small. Still seems like a place for posers with all kinds of "meetings" going on. But better options for food means better food. Panera still won't be my go-to for a meal, but at least I know now I can get something decent fast. read more

Always yummy in the tummy. Hadn't been to this location in some time but it was an easy friendly experience!

Every two weeks I would have something from Panera because my old job would cater lunch from this location. I must say that everything is delicious. My favorites are the Thai Chicken Salad and the Steak & Egg Breakfast Sandwich. I'm also a huge fan of their desserts, especially the cookies. The dine-in experience is also enjoyable. The staff as this location always seem friendly and I have never had any problems. I will say that one of the last times I went, the tables weren't the cleanest. I can't say this is the norm there, as they're pretty good about keeping the dining area sparkling. I will say this location can get busy. I've seen anything from college students cramming at the last minute to a knitting club. If you want to get a table to yourself, you might consider bringing a friend along just in cause things get a little crazy. (Knitting needles are still needles!) read more

Even though Panera Bread is a Franchise, they are at least consistence in how they make their food with Fresh Vegetables. Most of all, they are always clean and the place is inviting to have lunch or dinner if you choose. Also, what I like most is... the food made here is not "Fusion" food. Traditional food, without all the extras to make it into something, which it is NOT... So, today I ordered the large Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. I used their House Dressing, and I added extra as I love dressing. Again, another place which is scared of the "Food Police" in keeping Salt on the tables. You have to look for it... I am tired of OTHER people telling me how I have to eat or how I "Should" eat my food. I have eaten here several times, and the place is always crowded and I can see why. They have good food for the Value in which you pay. I signed up for the "Rewards" program for Panera. If you do, they are always rewarding you with something. I still have a FREE Breakfast bun coming to me, so I will have to go early. In addition, they have outside tables, and the afternoon is great here as they are all in the shade. Also, they have WiFi for some of us who have laptops and Smartphones. So, if you see me there.... I go here all the time with my two friebds and we've become notable regulars here, if I do say so myself. It's a wonderful place to study or do work or just have a nice little chat with someone. It's slightly quiet and slightly chattery, respectively. I think that's part of the beauty of this place. You can talk and have some freedom, but also be able to know that others will respect the calm atmosphere. The employees are all friendly and helpful; I've never had a problem. And if my order had gone a bit wrong, it was always quickly resolved and they earnestly apologized. The prices are a bit high, but the taste and quality make it worthwhile. I'm always satisfied and hungry for more when I eat here! read more
