Sad Caesar
Kyle G.

We won't be ordering from this place again. The cheesesteak ciabatta had virtually no meat inside and the salad came with a teeny tiny amount of dressing. The soups were good.

Order details

We haven't ordered from this location in quite some time due to issues. We won't make the mistake of doing it again. As you can see, no one checked off our order to ensure it was accurate. There were no baguettes. Additionally, the Mac n cheese was ice cold. There were two small slivers of avocado in the salad. The sandwiches were a mess and falling apart.

I work remotely and Panera is not user-friendly. Store has only three outlets. Also, the floors under the tables have not been cleaned in a long time. I was there first thing in the morning and expected it to be clean. Not an enjoyable place to work and have coffee/breakfast. Really gross unfortunately.

That's how my overpriced LARGE $4,38 + tax Panera bread latte looks like! Totally disappointed!!! Don't waste your hart working money here

Nice Panera Bread :) It's got good seating on the inside and the food came out quickly last time I ordered there. Food was very fresh. I've never had an issue here!

Some part of a chicken that will make you lose your appetite!

If you're anywhere near The Bowl, stop what you're doing and go. This place is the real deal. From…read morethe moment you walk in, you're hit with that comforting aroma of rich broth simmering for hours -- the kind that lets you know they actually care about the food they're serving. I ordered the hot bowl pho, and it was perfection. The broth was deep, flavorful, and not greasy at all -- balanced just right. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender enough to melt in your mouth. You can tell everything is fresh, down to the crisp bean sprouts and fragrant basil. First time hating short ribs in my pho and it was amazing! Can't wait to go back and try the oxtail. The service? Top-notch. Everyone was friendly and quick without making you feel rushed. And the portions? Huge. You definitely get your money's worth. Whether you're craving comfort food or introducing someone to pho for the first time, The Bowl is the move. Easily my new go-to spot -- 10/10 recommend.

Not good! 1…read more Ordered Vietnamese Iced Coffee with sweetened condensed milk. They served it pre-made in a to-go cup, mixed, and pre-brewed. No phin in sight. When I asked to have it done correctly they brought out a phin, over a glass, with sweetened condensed milk in bottom of brewing glass, but mostly already brewed and coffee in the glass that was lukewarm. Perhaps they do not know how to make it. Flavorless. 2. Ordered pork and shrimp egg rolls. Order came out in about 3 minutes - evidently not fresh, and they were also greasy -- see pic. 3. Ordered pho broth with noodles. Not much broth and all the noodles were actually clumped together (had to pull them apart) - see pic. Broth had a one-note, overly cinnamon flavor. As seen from pic, no space left for broth because so many noodles. Cheap way of serving food. 4. Ordered pork and sausage fried rice. Came out very quickly (evidently pre-made). Was very greasy and had an "off" flavor. Came at a non-busy time, and had food that was not prepared well. Will not return to this restaurant. I prefer Pho Tay Do, as do many Richmond-area chefs.

This morning I stopped by Brick House Diner for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the…read moreFrench toast meal with bacon and added a side of potatoes, and everything was absolutely amazing. It was so good I honestly could've eaten another whole meal! Our server, Ellie, was one of the best servers I've ever had. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The atmosphere was bright, welcoming, and fun, making it a great place to enjoy breakfast with family or friends. I highly recommend checking out Brick House Diner. It's definitely a 6-star experience in my book!

Today was my first visit to the new location and I came away impressed!…read more The ambiance is great. The service is great. The food is great. I'm so relieved that none of those traits got left behind at the old location! There's usually a wait, but they now offer outside tables for waiting or dining. So that's a plus. And it's worth the wait. There's a new bar, so one can sit there and enjoy a drink or a meal. That's nice. There's a new (I don't know what to call it) "dessert deli"? Where all the cakes and pastries are on display and for sale. So that trapped us on our way out. :-) And there's a dedicated door for take-out only, so if you order ahead you don't need to swim upstream of the other waiting diners to get in and grab your food, Here's something really innovative: Their parking lot is on the small side. But they are adjacent to acres of parking in the shopping center. So they run a golf cart in a loop, picking up and dropping off diners who park in the satellite lot. Wow! That's service. The restaurant business is tough. And endless number of ways to fail. But the Brick House Diner is doing everything right! PS: In a time when restaurant prices seem to be out of control, BHD is doing a great job keeping prices as low as they can. For the meal I had, I've paid 10 to 25% more at other, similar venues. So, hats off to BHD for cost control!

The restaurant also has a nice atmosphere with great décor. That said, I don't think it's much of a family restaurant--it's better suited for adults. I also think the breakfast menu could use some updates. At most breakfast restaurants, you're able to substitute eggs for another side, but that wasn't an option here. I also found the breakfast menu a little confusing and think it could be organized more clearly. Overall, I had a good experience, and with a few improvements to the breakfast menu, it could be even better.

It looks like it would be more of an upscale place, but I would say it's a normal eatery that works well for a casual lunch or something a little nicer too. They offered a selection of lunch specials as well as their regular menu with appetizers, salads, subs, pasta, etc. After much deliberation (the server stopped by probably three times and we still weren't ready) I decided on the fettuccine with white clam sauce which came with some bread and butter, and soup or salad. I went with the soup of the day which was chicken orzo. My mom chose the lamb gyro sandwich and for her side she went with the veggie of the day which was roasted Brussels sprouts with honey. Overall I thought the food was good. It was definitely well-seasoned. The orzo in the soup was a little mushy for my preference, but the fettuccine was a good texture. The white clam sauce was loaded with clams and garlic. I really enjoyed my dish. My mom enjoyed her gyro sandwich, I did take a small taste of the lamb and it was delicious. The Brussels sprouts were probably my favorite of everything though. They were roasted perfectly, still a little firm with some crispier toastier leaves in the mix and a sweet glaze. The service was fine, I thought the server was very nice. She was most attentive when waiting for us to order, and at the end of our meal she boxed our food up for us which is always a nice touch. I would definitely eat here again, there are many more menu items I would love to try!
