I hardly ever get panera, but when I do the experience is always good. This time however just boggles my mind. I order the chicken avo blt, one of my usuals, and they forget the bacon on the BLT. No worries, i call and let them know there was no bacon on my BLT and since I couldnt go back for a remake they offer me a free sandwich next time i return, cool. I return and give them my name and they get started on my remake, it came out fast. I was happy. Drive all the way back to work, open it up, and behold!! No bacon again! I know common sense isn't all that common, but it's called a BLT because theres supposed to be bacon on it. I'm really not one to complain, but forgetting the bacon again on the FREE REMAKE THEY OFFERED IS INSANE! I had time to come back today and told them they forgot it again, the girl making sandwich sounded new so I understand mistakes happen, but I don't think anyone is so new to this world that they would not put bacon on a BLT. I got a nice little bowl of bacon when I came back, better than nothing, but I highly suggest checking your food before walking out of this place. It's not fair to charge so much for a sandwich then forgot one of the most expensive ingredients on it. I wouldn't have batted an eye if they forgot the lettuce. read more

The absolute worst food and customer service ever. We scheduled an order, it was 20 minutes past scheduled pick-up, half of the order was missing. I called corporate customer service and they only refunded part of the meal, claiming the missing baguette and chips were "optional add-ons". Had breakfast here around 7am. Outside restaurant is clean. Inside is very clean as well. Associate was very polite and helpful. I ordered from the counter as opposed to the kiosk today. My souffle was cooked a little more than I prefer, but that could be just me? However it was hot and fresh tasting. I love the tra options here. Sometime I will get the cinnamon crunch bagel which is awesome. I will return. read more

They couldn't make food correctly if their lives depended on it. I have had to make three trips for them to get a simple salad made correctly. THREE! It's absolutely ridiculous. I add avocado to a salad, pay for the upcharge, and they include exactly one niblet of avocado. This was before the COVID crisis. Then again, if you order a breakfast sandwich, they put HALF an avocado on there without slicing it, so its basically all you taste. And it arrives cold. And when you try to eat it, the entire unsliced avocado flies out the other end of the sandwich. And they smash all of your pastries together in the same box so the cherry goop gets all over your other items. Problems here with whoever packs and makes the food just not caring about what people get. It's infuriating. But the manager, despite agreeing to redelivery, feels this isn't so strange. read more

I'm the only one in my family that doesn't seem to love Panera...not THIS one in particular, but any one. I've just never bought into the hype. That said, I have never had a bad meal at one either. I was down in the area with my daughter and we needed to eat and I let her pick this place. She ordered the large Caesar salad with chicken and a giant cookie (this kid and her metabolism) and I had the Asian chicken salad and a cup of the Tomato Basil soup ( I'm guessing at the basil, my memory is playing games with me at the moment). The soup and salads were great and the service was fast and friendly. If I pay this amount of money for a simple Caesar salad my order better be right. I ordered on the mobile app for pickup and got my salad and they had not put extra dressing g like I ordered. They give you these tiny cups of dressing and it is not enough. I called the store and the manager Natalie was like I don't know if doordash will go back and deliver salad dressing for you, even tho I had just told her I ordered through their mobile app for pickup. And she just told me all I could do was come in and pick up more dressing and I already told her I couldn't do that because I was on my lunch break, and that's why I ordered pickup n the first place. there was no accountability. I love this Panera Bread! They have a really big outdoor seating area. I belong to their coffee club which is a good deal for me and husband. I like the online ordering app so I never have to stand in line. The only thing I can see improvement is to remodel their restrooms. I have been stopping by several mornings a week for the past two weeks, and usually go through the drive through. The Green Passion Power smoothie and a break fast sandwich have been great, but I wanted to try something new. I arrived later than usual this morning and the drive thru line was LONG! I went inside instead. I was greeted by the staff in a cheery manner and they were very helpful with helping me figure out what new items to try. I opted for oatmeal and the Superfruit Power smoothie, but only because I was told it did not include dairy in the recipe. I don't like dairy in my smoothies. I waited for my order and the smoothie looked a little creamy, but I didn't think about it. I tasted it and immediately knew something was off. I got back in line and the manager was observant and attentive so asked if I needed help with anything. I asked him what ingredients were in the smoothie and he immediately shared that yogurt was in it. He had another smoothie made for me, but it seemed that no one had a sense of urgency. I was fine with the mistakes and after getting the new smoothie and getting in my car to finish my commute to work I realized I was in there for almost 30 minutes! I've never been in Panera that long for a carryout order. My goodness. I'll stick with trying to make it here before 7am when there is less of a crowd. In the end, I still disliked the smoothie. Love this Panera. They get crazy busy but are good about getting the food out to you. They also keep their Dinning Room clean. They have a bunch of great options but my favorite is a pick two with a Greek Salad with chicken and the cream of chicken and rice soup. They are a little pricey but the food is fresh and prices are high everywhere now. Totally dig the lemonades with a kick of caffeine. Also enjoy a breakfast sandwich when time allows. This is a pretty nice Panera. Sometimes it's SUPER hard to find a place to sit so I usually order online and just pick up to avoid all the issues. My food is always correct and the online ordering is easy to use. Also when it's not 0 degrees outside they have a nice large outdoor seating area. And I ended up sitting in my car for half an hour before they sent out the text telling me my food was ready, only for the door to be locked when I tried to go in. Panera is always a good choice for a restaurant in any city. For those of you who happen to visit Saint Louis it is called the Saint Louis Bread Company there. This location has a couple of outdoor tables for those beautiful days! Great spot for a bowl of soup, a salad or a sandwich! I am a personal fan of the french onion soup! Oh and they have (mostly) delicious pastry treats and bagels! I can't say I love all the pastries but I am a fan of the bear claw here!
