The best cappuccino in the whole RVA area!!
    Hannah C.

This precious shop is one of the first places we went out to eat when we moved here. The cleanliness, the creative decorations, and cozy atmosphere draw you in. The darling staff and high food quality entice you to return again and again! Also the pricing is on point. Green Apple has the best cappuccinos of any shop I have visited before! A pure half inch of coffee foam with cinnamon sprinkled on top. I am typically a mocha latte girl if I buy coffee but these cappuccinos changed my world. When I first heard they were made with 2%, I almost left but I gave them a shot and now I can't get them off my mind. My absolute favorite menu item is the Avocado Toast. Generous portion of seasoned mashed avocado on two pieces of bread each topped with a medium fried egg. So scrumptious, your taste buds will be begging for next time! Their sweet staff recognize us when we come in and know our favorite menu items. This is the personalized small-town feel my heart craves and I know you will just fall in love if you give this place a chance too!

I want to love it, but I will have to give them another try. I had the pina colada smoothie which had a good taste but did not care for the chunks of coconut at every sip. Also, not sure if they tell you they charge a processing fee! Shouldn't this be displayed somewhere before purchase???

Everyone in my home loves Green Apple.

Smoothies are great. Service is great. Vibes are good. I love this place. We visit at least once a week.

Very happy they offer tables that I could get some work from! The staff are always smiling and eager to assist in choosing what fits my taste buds. And it's healthy!

Large menu of healthy food. Eggs cooked to order for breakfast. Good service. Kids plays and read area. Cute decor. Buy a meal and get half off a meal on Weds. Free self service flavored water and endless fresh and healthy options.

I have been in here 3 times now and it never fails to be one of my new favorite spots! I also am looking for a good fresh juice to add into my week & the food is also so good and clean!

Green juice wasn't made with enough ice so it was lukewarm and the ginger shot was suddenly $5.50 for 2.5 ounces.

We asked them to bring whatever comes out first. The restaurant itself is actually so cute and pretty roomy. They have a pretty extensive menu with an option for different diets and drink choices. It was happy hour when we had gone, and I ordered from it. I had a California roll and a Wagyu smash burger. It was all pretty good, but it was definitely small portions. I was famished and didn't think about the portion size from a happy hour. It's perfect happy hour portion, but I needed more! I just wanted my food to come out faster. LOL. Both dishes were absolutely smashing, but next time, I'm definitely ordering full dinner portions! LOL. Next time I want to try the miyagi roll and one of the pastas or another burger for sure. Overall, it was a solid experience. The only thing I would change is check on us more often, so that we can request for whatever else we might need. I needed a couple drink refills and had wanted to order a couple more dishes but could not because our server didn't get back to us on time. Our reservation was only for a couple hours. Still I would love to come back.

You genuinely feel like you're dining in a garden, which made the experience even better. The food? Incredible across the board. We ordered the house salad, she crab soup, cacio e pepe, and the shrimp scampi risotto--and every single dish delivered. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The risotto especially was a standout. Let's not even get started on the wine..amazing! They have a large list to choose from! Service was just as amazing--attentive without being overbearing, which always makes a difference. They also have a beautifully set up outdoor area that I know would be perfect in warmer weather... just a little too cold for us this time. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the Midlothian area.

If I could I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, because it was good but not great but definitely well enough not to drop it to a 4. Let's start with the location: very nice and everything seems real clean and cared for. Even the men's room was decent at 6:00 pm at night. Now our server: Sidney was very attentive to us. She took very good care of us during our stay. Now the meal: Again it was good. The wifey had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. She tells me the sauce had a nice flavor but the chicken really had no flavor. Certainly not a Blackened flavor you would expect. The chicken itself was good and tender. As for me I had Shrimp and Grits. It also was good. It had onions and peppers in it and again the flavor of the onions and peppers just want there. Who knows. We also had the Brick Oven Brie. There was a really nice amount of Brie. So much that the toasted bread ran out way before the Brie. So as I said this was a good place and meal despite my small hits in this review. I firmly recommend this place because I do expect you to have a nice meal. Ps. To the owners: your link to your website doesn't work via Yelp. To potential customers: you will have to go your search engine and find the Charred site.

At some point, my mom had to get up to find someone to take our order, which is not a great start. Service thereafter was neither terrible nor outstanding. But she was polite and prompt, and seemed to get our order right. 3/5 for service. My niece ordered the French toast with eggs, a fruit cup, and sausage. My mom ordered an omelette with grits, and my dad ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich with loaded breakfast potatoes. For my meal, I had a waffle, a fruit cup, and some breakfast potatoes. My mom and I got the pineapple mimosas. They didn't have a ton of vegetarian options, but this definitely worked out just fine. I do still hope that they will add more vegetarian options to the menu, including keeping a little plant-based sausage or bacon on hand. The pineapple mimosa was very delicious and came in a nice, ample glass. The waffle was good. I personally like my waffles a bit crisper, and this one was a bit softer, but it still tasted great. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly cooked. Lovely and crispy on the outside, well seasoned and perfect with ketchup. The fruit cup was also delicious, nice and fresh. Overall, it seemed like everybody enjoyed their meal. 4/5 food The space itself seemed pretty clean, and the booths were nice. Even though the decor was not my personal style, the ambience was still nice overall. 4/5 ambiance Overall, pretty good experience. I'm sure we'll be back.
