The service was friendly, the atmosphere was very cute they had a place to take pictures at as well. I'm a stickler when it comes to açaí bowls, it wasn't bad but it was pre frozen and personally I would have liked a better fruit to açaí ratio. I got the turkey ham and cheese as well and the meat was a weird color and it was toasted enough to be warm but not actually toasted.

I didn't have to wait very long for my food though, and the servers are actually quite friendly. You order at the counter, and seat yourself. Their dining area has many tables and chairs; there are a couple tables and chairs outside as well for when the weather is nicer. Then they bring your food out to you. They have different lunch specials on different days. On the day that I stopped by, they had cheese ravioli with garlic knots for a lunch special. Since I've never been there before, I decided to try it. It included a drink as well. The drink fountain is off to the side, and you're permitted to get refills should you wish. The ravioli was okay; it was a bit too salty for me. Portion-wise, it was sufficient for a lunch meal. The garlic knots were actually quite tasty. Overall, I had a solid dining experience. I would love to stop by again and order a pizza though. The pizzas seem popular because there were a lot of customers coming to pick up pizzas.

They do bring the food out to your table. I really wanted to love this place based on prior reviews and how wonderful the service was. The people working there are super friendly! Unfortunately the food wasn't quite what I expected. I started with a Greek salad (no olives) and Hubby had the house salad with French dressing. The ingredients on the Greek salad were obviously the same they use on the pizzas. Banana peppers were sliced and from a can. The feta was a small dice and honestly lacked taste. The house salad was fresh and fine. We ordered an extra cheese pizza and spaghetti with meat sauce, which came with 3 garlic knots. The pizza certainly had the extra cheese! But the sauce was off for us - very sweet. The crust was pretty middle of the road. The meat sauce on the spaghetti wasn't as sweet. The highlight of the meal was the garlic knots! Perfectly cooked and covered in a really yummy garlic sauce. We may return again when in the area.

I got a regular grilled Italian sub. The restaurant is extremely clean and has 2 storefronts worth of seating. I actually ended up adding a "small" fry to my order when I saw them cut the potatoes fresh. As you can see, there is nothing small about that serving! The sandwich was delicious and extremely fresh. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Dissapointing as they used to be one of the best tasting subs in the area a long time ago. Prices are on higher end for same type of food you can get elsewhere. Ordered a toasted Dagwood with fries. Their fries are known for the cut and freshness but seemed to be lacking- a quarter of the cup of fries were burnt and not as thick as they used to be. As an example, go to FiveGuys if you want the better thick fries. The sub contained a skimpy amount of shredded lettuce, tomato, mayo, etc. Oil was on the sub but the vinegar is given to you in 1 packet to put on later. The pickup order was to be ready in 15 mins and when arrived after the 15 mins, had to wait another 10 minutes. Not in a rush, so it didn't matter but could matter to someone who has a time constraint and there were no other customers at that time. One of the younger staff members stated "we shouldn't have to work in conditions like this" referring to the kitchen being hot but they were standing by the fryer and overn. It was a very hot day outside so maybe they were referring to that combination.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted by display cases filled with beautifully presented baked goods. It's the kind of place where you want to grab a tray and try a little bit of everything. With affordable pricing and a broad menu of drinks and baked items, it's an easy place to return to when you want something different from a regular coffee shop.

It's nice to know that the case is full and fresh. We chose 3 items - pork floss & scallion bun was the clear winner. It was so good (5/5) and great price. The red bean bun was good (4/5). The almond pastry was fine (3/5) but I wanted it to have more flavor and moisture. Often, you get a little almond paste in the middle, but this was mostly dry with just almonds and cranberries on the outside. I didn't dislike it, but would not order again. They had strawberry and cream cake samples by the register. Those were also just okay 3/5). I got an Americano and we sat in a cute booth. Overall a nice breakfast and would try a few other items next visit!

If I could I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, because it was good but not great but definitely well enough not to drop it to a 4. Let's start with the location: very nice and everything seems real clean and cared for. Even the men's room was decent at 6:00 pm at night. Now our server: Sidney was very attentive to us. She took very good care of us during our stay. Now the meal: Again it was good. The wifey had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. She tells me the sauce had a nice flavor but the chicken really had no flavor. Certainly not a Blackened flavor you would expect. The chicken itself was good and tender. As for me I had Shrimp and Grits. It also was good. It had onions and peppers in it and again the flavor of the onions and peppers just want there. Who knows. We also had the Brick Oven Brie. There was a really nice amount of Brie. So much that the toasted bread ran out way before the Brie. So as I said this was a good place and meal despite my small hits in this review. I firmly recommend this place because I do expect you to have a nice meal. Ps. To the owners: your link to your website doesn't work via Yelp. To potential customers: you will have to go your search engine and find the Charred site.

It's tucked away in the corner and definitely a hidden gem. They have only been here for 5 months but they are going to go far. We ordered a Stromboli, meatball Parm sub (8in) and garlic knots. Everything came out in less than 15 minutes. We waited in the car as the lobby is very small but when the food was ready they brought it right out. As always before we were going to pull off we stopped to check the food. After looking at everything and the smell filled the car we decided to eat right there. Everything was absolutely delicious. I personally ordered the Parm but ask my friend could I try a bite of his Stromboli. I ended up actually eating a whole section because it was so good. The garlic knots were served in a oily garlic sauce that I was afraid was going to be too much/overpowering. I was pleasantly surprised! They were amazing and fell apart in my mouth. Having all the extra sauce turned out to be a plus as well. There were so much that we could rub it on the bread of my sub, and the bread of the Stromboli. After eating, we went back inside to tell the cook personally, how good everything was. Everyone inside was extremely friendly and they let us know that this is just the beginning of their menu. They will be adding more in the near future but are just waiting on supplies to arrive. I can't wait to see what they add to their menu, We will definitely be back.
