The service was friendly, the atmosphere was very cute they had a place to take pictures at as well. I'm a stickler when it comes to açaí bowls, it wasn't bad but it was pre frozen and personally I would have liked a better fruit to açaí ratio. I got the turkey ham and cheese as well and the meat was a weird color and it was toasted enough to be warm but not actually toasted.

Calming spot to grab a treat, get some work done/journal, or catch up with friends in an aesthetic and modern cafe. Ordered the paradise tea with mango and avocado. I loved the textures and layers of flavors. The drink was filling and lasted me a while, not watery but refreshing. The mango tasted fresh and avocado creamy. I haven't tried the pastries at this location, but have at their other Richmond cafe. Great cakes and buns made fresh in-house. Easy to find parking at the lot outside. Service is pretty quick.

The ambiance was clean and orderly. Upon entering, you grab a serving tray lined with parchment and some tongs. The items are in a glass enclosed display that you have to open and place your selections on your tray for purchase. I settled on the pistachio cream filled pecan pastry, the almond twist, and strawberry shortcake. The beverage menu was extensive: matcha, flavored teas, cocoa, espresso/coffee, and more. We were greeted by pleasant staff at checkout and our orders placed in a parchment type bag for take out. They also have seating inside. The pastries were just sweet enough without being overly sweet, which I like. The pistachio cream was a perfect compliment to the pecan encrusted pastry. The almond twist was both flaky and crunchy with the sliced almonds on top, and the strawberry shortcake had layers of real strawberries, whipped topping and yellow cake that was moist. All were fresh. All in all, a great place to stop by for a morning pastry treat and tea/coffee while in the area,

The service was very friendly throughout my visit and really appreciated the attentiveness from the sever. I ended up getting a hot Charcoal Mocha because it seemed like something you can't get anywhere else, it has activated charcoal, espresso, cocoa powder & a touch of coconut oil. I love that they serve their drinks out of fun mugs, it feels homey. To eat, I got the Charter Colony sandwich once I noticed they offered gluten free bread. They have a great game selection and play area for kids and I think this would be a great place to catch up with a friend. Will be back!

Vibe- I came here looking for a place to eat and get some work done. If you're big on ambiance/aesthetics then this is not the place for you. The decor is dated and distracted. I was expecting a neighborhood coffee shop vibe but the staff wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. Overall, service was underwhelming. Food - both times I ordered the charter colony. The croissant is really the star IMO. It's soft, fluffy, buttery - everything you could ask for! Other than that the sandwich is to be expected. Good but not wowed for the price. The side of potatoes were WAY better during my first visit. They were super crispy and flavorful. This time they were average and bordering burnt. My food came out warm (not hot) and I waited for nearly 15 minutes for my sandwich which felt far too long considering I was the only person (literally!) in the entire restaurant.

Located in a newer shopping and dining plaza, the inside was surprisingly large and nicely decorated. Quite a decently sized menu with a good variety of. Today we were having lunch, so Pho sounded good to us. We started with an order (2) of shrimp and pork spring rolls - nothing unusual but nice and fresh. I had B6 - Bún bò Huế: Rice vermicelli in spicy beef noodle soup and pork shank. Lots of flavor and LARGE quantity - bring your appetite! Drawbacks: shank was very fatty, but ate around that. Also broth had a fishy note to it - as if too heavy on the Nước chấm. Wife had P10 - Phở Bò Chín: well-done brisket, served with tender rice noodles in a rich, spiced broth. Both dishes were accompanied by fresh garnishes including cilantro, onions, basil, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage and lime. All the tables presented Sriracha, hot chili oil and hoisin sauce. All-in-all, a very filling and tasty meal for a reasonable price.

He had his own fresh vegetables for his meal. His meal definitely had just a tad too much fish sauce. I added just a small spoonful of their chili crisp oil located at each table and it was perfect. Hubby added more of the provided accompaniments for his taste. We did start out with shrimp rolls but in retrospect we didn't need them because the entrees were so generous. New pho restaurant in the area and for us. More upscale than some pho restaurants we have dined.

They roast single origin coffees onsite and sell them in completely biodegradable pods, which only stay on their shelves for up to 30 days so the coffee always tastes super fresh. They are not like other biodegradable pods you may see for sale elsewhere, these actually ensure you get a fantastic cup of coffee each time. I started talking to the baristas, Lisa and Anastasia, and shared that I used to work for Starbucks and was amazed how the same coffee could taste completely different if it was prepared differently. Lisa promptly took out two bags of coffee and prepared a pour over of each. They were the same beans, but roasted at different temperatures. She gave tastes to me and another customer. It was amazing how different the coffees tasted, and they even had different colors. It was such a cool experience! I bought a box of Columbia medium roast pods, which I've been enjoying every day this week. They have several coffees available to try, along with pastries and made to order sandwiches. It's located in an industrial area, off the main road, but is well worth the trip if you're looking for some delicious coffee. It's become my go to coffee roaster in the Richmond area.
