This is the most unorganized Panera. If it were not so close to my house, I'd never go there. 4 times now I've placed an order online for immediate pick up. 40 minutes later, still not ready. They are always out of coffee. All day long. Never have coffee ready. They frequently do not have what I order. It's just a constant disappointment. They never really apologize. They ignore customers. There is one lady that is very nice, but they still rarely get orders right and it takes 30-40 min to get food. I will just go across the street to Corner Bakery from now on. I have been a fan of Panera for quite some time now, and have visited other locations without a single problem. Since moving, this is the closest location to me and I've repeatedly had issues with my orders. Most common issue, I place a Rapid Pickup order and something is missing from my order that I am charged for. I've called and only been offered to drive back up there to get it, which defeats the purpose of Rapid Pickup. Why not just build your orders correctly the first time? This was a reoccurring problem. Second problem, on another visit where I actually ordered inside at the counter, another customer who came in after me, her order was ready before mine, (or at least they called her name before ever calling mine), and they took my bag as well. When I asked, they said it must have been the customer who took it, and I said, well no one ever notified me that my order was ready. They remade my order, and now at 15-20 minutes I'm obviously in a hurry, and when I get to work, my order is still wrong. I've called the store on several occasions, left my phone number on email surveys to be contacted, and even contacted customer service, but there has been no correction to this issue. Customer service could only offer me a coupon on my rapid rewards account for a free Pick Two meal, and when I went to use that at a different location, my order came out wrong then too. I don't know if any good Panera locations remain, but as far as this one goes, avoid it. It's not worth the hassle, or your hard earned money. And just to be clear, this has been an issue over 5 or 6 months, not just a very recent mishap. I really love the atmosphere of this Panera - very quite especially when Starbucks is jammed packed all the time. I ordered a small Mac and cheese and it came with a piece of bread or chips or an apple and I choose the apple. I thought that was a weird list of sides to have with Mac and cheese. And I will say for a small Mac and cheese for $5 it was not delectable. The noodles were a little hard and the cheese choice does not make it feel like you are eating Mac and cheese. Definitely disappointed in the quality of this Panera bread. Ordered a "You pick 2" with Frontega chicken panini no tomato or onion and a broccoli cheddar soup. I went to dine in and found all tables were dirty. I received my order with tomatoes and immediately mentioned I ordered without those. The server took the sand which right off my plate with gloves that have touched multiple services and now my plate. I noticed I had no silver ware and walked over to ask when I heard the server who took my sandwich advising the food prep person that I "apparently ordered it without tomatoes" and the food prep person said I didn't....definitely a convo you probably want to take away from customers. I found it to be very rude. When I asked for a spoon I got a look as if I was asking for something special. When I got the spoon, it has food on it. When I asked for a new one, I got a look and then finally received a new spoon. The second sand which I received didn't even come back right. It had onions in it. To continue to avoid frustration, I just picked them out. Rest assured just based on this experience alone I will not be returning to this location, and will advise my coworkers of this poor experience to avoid anyone else experiencing what I did. read more

This was at like 3 pm so it wasn't during their "peak hours". First, Las Colinas is not a city. The address is in Irving, Texas. Las Colinas is a subdivision of homes, apts, businesses, etc. The traffic around the restaurant can be really bad, but the quality of the food is terrific. I wish they didn't run out of favorite sweets like low-fat muffins late afternoon, but they are efficient and very clean. Wow. Never have I gone here where I am unable to get what I wanted to order. I did the pick two and wanted a chicken salad sandwich on crossaint, which they did not have. So I had to pick another sandwich. Hopefully the ham and Swiss is good. The second option was the clam chowder and I finished my order. The waitress comes to my table and tells me they're out of clam chowder. So they had neither items I wanted. I will add to this review if the substitutes I ordered did not taste good. read more

I order for a catering pick up, came into the store and there were pretty busy so I happily waited in line. When I finally got to the front counter I was helped by an employee who just came in for the day. I told her I had a pick up and she went to look for my order. She handed me a paper to sign and then proceeded to load up the items. When we went to my car she loaded the items in, there were 2 bags, 3 boxes. Quickly going over what I received I noticed there wasn't a mini scone pack that I ordered , the girl went through the bags and could not find anything as well. We want back to the store and they were no where to be found. As a consolation they asked me if I wanted anything from the bakery which they provided 2 blueberry and 2 orange scones. I was good with this. I should have known to check each bag again before I left. When I went to my corporate office placing the items out for my agents my 3 cream cheeses were missing. Frustrated, I called in and spoke to Katie who was very nice. She called the store for me and called me back, now the part I am missed about according to her after she spoke with the store the girl who helped me said she gave me 3 bags and even though the scones were there I demanded more scones... really.. REALLY. Your going to lie? Whats the point in lying, you checked the bags with me? There is not a secret 3rd bag in my car, man up again the point in lying is??? I am in customer service myself I own up to things if lying about a 3rd bag to cover perhaps that you gave it out to another customer in error? Or did the catering truck never drop it off and it was in the truck? Where is this mystical 3rd bag? Who cares. I didn't get it bottom line. I would have never written this review if it would of been .."Ok no problem we cant find it we will drop your items off" instead I have an employee lying for in my opinion no damn reason. Katie (who again was wonderful) called them back and then called me back within a few minutes and said they would deliver the cream cheese which they left at the front lobby. After about 6 weeks, I tried it again. I only ordered a bowl of soup. They brought the wrong soup. I told a man who was cleaning tables. He said he had absolutely no idea what to do. I had to go back up to the front. It was all so complicated to switch my soup that I asked for a refund. Love love LOVE Panera Bread. My favorite bakery to scoop a breakfast treat or pastry with my favorite specialty coffee. I enjoy the fact you can download their app and order Rapid Pickup where you simply pull up in a designated parking space, run in and grab your order from the alphabetized cubbies on the wall. (Alphabetized by last name). Very convenient, and I usually end up using this little perk on several occasions. They are real good at informing you if anything was out of stock, and let you pick a different choice when you arrive. Once I waited over 20 minutes and was growing impatient but they knew the wait was too long and the employee let both me and my bad pick out a free pasty for the wait. That was really awesome customer service and way to keep us satisfied in an hiccup sort of situation. My bf loves their hot chocolate with large marshmallows. I personally prefer their cappuccino with almond milk. My only complaint is that they don't offer soy milk as an option - WHY?? Is there a reason why? Or is it simply to torture customers? I would completely break off my affair with Starbucks if this became a Panera option!! Their cobblestone pastry is divine, and their bagel variety is on point, including a variety of schmears as well. For lunch, they have delicious soups (wild rice & chicken personal fav!), filling sandwiches (and large, my gosh!), not to mention some to die for macaroni and cheese which is great on a gloomy day. They also have a delicious broth bowls which is everything a rainy day needs. All in all you won't be disappointed by the quality and service here at Panera. Can't wait to return!!! read more

I tried to order lunch from here using Uber Eats today. I am now having to wait to eat until dinner and I have $15 less in my bank account. I placed an order on uber eats with the incentive of free soup and a discount on deliver. I placed my order and it was sent to the restaurant, or so I thought, I waited 10 or 15 minutes as it was projected to take about 20 minutes, which was fine since I ordered early, then suddenly my order was cancelled with a note that they were going to charge me my full amount of the order as a cancellation fee. The only problem? I didn't cancel the order. Tried to contact uber, but it's useless, so I called the Panera and after about 15 minutes on the phone was only able to determine that they never got the order. I'm not sure what's going on, whether the problem is with uber eats or with panera, all I know is I didn't get to eat lunch but was still charged by Uber eats for not delivering my food! read more

Horrible service! This is the 5th time they have screwed my pick up order ... and I am literally forced to write today! To the management, please do a quality check before you put the order outside for pick up! I ordered avocado Cobb salad ( with chicken) and guess what I did not have chicken neither egg nor avocado on my salad! I mean seriously??? Are you F...in serious? When complained they remade the salad, there was hardly any avocado and so little quantity than usual that I asked if they can look into that... as a portion I believe atleast 1/4 or 1/2 an avocado should be in a whole salad and there was only 3 small cubes of avocado! So I asked and one of the worker or manager ( not sure who but he is a big guy ) said this is our portions and we charge extra for extra avocado and extra greens! First of all they screwed my order... I ordered rapid pick up order so that I can save time and these people first screwed up the order so I had to wait another 8 minutes ( yes I timed it) and then this is the service I get! I am a frequent customer here and evEry Friday I get my salad from here for dinner so yes I am very much aware of the quantity! I have attempted to order the same thing four times and then the cashier rings me up, takes my money and then informs me they don't have what I ordered. Panera has been a favorite of mine for years now. However, this specific store is severely lacking customer service. Three times in a row I have placed my order online. When I went in to pick up the order it was incorrect on two occasions. Additionally, I ordered soup on one of those occasions as the website stated soup was ready after 10:30am. When picking up at 10:45, I was told soup was not ready until lunch. Either the website needs updating or employees need more training. Also, I have went to this location for breakfast. I arrived at 10:15 to place my order, and the employee said they are not serving breakfast. I educated her that the website along with the paper menu in my hands stated it ended at 10:30, and was fortunate to get my favorite oatmeal. However, I waited 23 minutes for the oatmeal to be made, whilst watching 4 employees standing around on their cellphones. Seeing as how I work down the street and love Panera, I would like to keep coming here. However, it would be nice if the employees understood the food schedule and had more of a sense of urgency as they do during busy lunch hours. read more
