Came here for a few days in a row the food was good and service was nice but with high prices and receiving a sandwich that was not even half full because "they weight their meat" I was more than disappointed leaving hungry to say the least.

I sometimes am in Irving for work and I make sure I go to Sara's Deli for lunch when I am. Delicious, fresh and super friendly customer service! They always have a line at lunch about 15-20 people deep and somehow you don't wait long. 10/10 every time.

I must admit I love sandwiches! Nom, Nom. This deli provides hot & cold sandwiches/wraps, salads & box lunches and catering trays. They use Boar's Head for the meat, so it's going to be pretty good if all the other ingredients are good, which they do. They have a small variety of breads and wraps to choose from. I opted for the the Spicy Lonestar in a tomato wrap. I can't remember all the meats in it. But I added light ranch, heavy mayo, spinach, olives and pickles. Holy heavens! It was sooo good. They're very affordable and my customer service was amazing. Check out a video I posted to see one of the sandwich makers having some fun with me. The customer service was phenomenal! We played in line and took pictures. The facility is small but very comforting. I will always be back.

Sarah's has a Friday soup special too!

Sarah's has been my go-to breakfast place since I moved to Dallas. Their breakfast special is hard to beat for the price, and will definitely see you through until lunch. Staff is helpful and accommodating, and the food is good. A nice little place for a bite whether it's breakfast or lunch.

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

A graceful 3. I stopped by this place with my daughter for the first time on a random weekday…read more Before I begin, let me just say this: first impressions really are everything. When we walked in, no one greeted us or explained how the ordering process worked. We took our time looking over the menu and were pretty much left to figure things out on our own. To be fair, one employee was checking out customers and another appeared to be preparing food, so I can give a little grace there. After about 3-5 minutes, someone came from the back and politely asked how he could help. I mentioned that it was our first visit, and he instructed us to order our sandwiches with him. After taking our order, he immediately started preparing the sandwiches. Unfortunately, no directions were given about what to do next. We moved over to what appeared to be the sandwich topping station, where another employee was working. He never acknowledged us, and by that point, both the cashier and sandwich prep employee had disappeared to the back. We grabbed a bag of chips and headed toward the register, assuming maybe toppings weren't part of the process. When the cashier eventually returned, she looked at us as if she was wondering why we were standing there. I explained that it was our first time and that we hadn't received any instructions. She quickly apologized and gave us a rundown of how everything worked. As it turned out, our sandwiches were simply waiting to be dressed with toppings. While she was helping us, the employee who had been standing at the topping station the entire time walked off carrying completed sandwiches. I'm assuming he was handling to-go or catering orders, but his lack of acknowledgment made the experience feel a little cold and unwelcoming. Once we got through the ordering process, things improved. The young lady finished our sandwiches, checked us out, and we decided to dine in since the wind outside changed our plans to enjoy the patio. The décor was interesting, with lots of unique things to look at and talk about. We also loved the family feel of the space and the large windows that filled the restaurant with beautiful natural light. The sandwiches did the job and filled us up for lunch. The taste was decent, but I feel like I could have made better choices had I understood the ordering process from the beginning. This feels like a place that's very comfortable for regulars but not necessarily geared toward first-time visitors. Would I return? It's not at the top of my list, but I wouldn't completely rule it out either.

Well the sandwich's were spot on great, but the place was absolutely dead was just us and I've seen…read morethis every time I pass by the restaurant. Don't know why .
