BBQ seemed too heavy and couldn't figure out a decent one close to my business. Potbelly makes good sandwiches. You'll know exactly what you're getting every time you go. I went with the Cubano (which I cannot say no to on any menu), it was delicious. Had it exactly how menu said in white bread. Flavors were great, the only negative would be the bread but tough to get at a chain restaurant. I recommend any Potbelly if you want a great sandwich from a chain restaurant. read more

A graceful 3. I stopped by this place with my daughter for the first time on a random weekday. Before I begin, let me just say this: first impressions really are everything. When we walked in, no one greeted us or explained how the ordering process worked. We took our time looking over the menu and were pretty much left to figure things out on our own. To be fair, one employee was checking out customers and another appeared to be preparing food, so I can give a little grace there. After about 3-5 minutes, someone came from the back and politely asked how he could help. I mentioned that it was our first visit, and he instructed us to order our sandwiches with him. After taking our order, he immediately started preparing the sandwiches. Unfortunately, no directions were given about what to do next. We moved over to what appeared to be the sandwich topping station, where another employee was working. He never acknowledged us, and by that point, both the cashier and sandwich prep employee had disappeared to the back. We grabbed a bag of chips and headed toward the register, assuming maybe toppings weren't part of the process. When the cashier eventually returned, she looked at us as if she was wondering why we were standing there. I explained that it was our first time and that we hadn't received any instructions. She quickly apologized and gave us a rundown of how everything worked. As it turned out, our sandwiches were simply waiting to be dressed with toppings. While she was helping us, the employee who had been standing at the topping station the entire time walked off carrying completed sandwiches. I'm assuming he was handling to-go or catering orders, but his lack of acknowledgment made the experience feel a little cold and unwelcoming. Once we got through the ordering process, things improved. The young lady finished our sandwiches, checked us out, and we decided to dine in since the wind outside changed our plans to enjoy the patio. The décor was interesting, with lots of unique things to look at and talk about. We also loved the family feel of the space and the large windows that filled the restaurant with beautiful natural light. The sandwiches did the job and filled us up for lunch. The taste was decent, but I feel like I could have made better choices had I understood the ordering process from the beginning. This feels like a place that's very comfortable for regulars but not necessarily geared toward first-time visitors. Would I return? It's not at the top of my list, but I wouldn't completely rule it out either. read more

Well the sandwich's were spot on great, but the place was absolutely dead was just us and I've seen this every time I pass by the restaurant. Don't know why . On June 25, 2026 around 7:00 PM, I picked up a sandwich order from the Potbelly at 2350 N Belt Line Rd in Irving for the first time. When I walked in, the employee (lady with dark hair) at the counter didn't greet me or say anything while I grabbed my order, and there was no acknowledgment or "thank you" as I left. I see why the restaurant was EMPTY...not one person there! Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and I'll stick with the Arlington Potbelly going forward since the service there is always much more welcoming and friendly. read more

Ordered via Door Dash - Got a 6" thin cut multigrain Italian with artichoke's, mustard, onions, cucumbers, pickles, and seasoning. It was Slap Yo Momma Good !!! Got some Zappa's BBQ Chips that are totally awesome !!! Got a whole pickle as I'm a pickle freak !!! Finally got the loaded baked potato soup and requested and paid for added bacon, but got NO BACON !!! WTH !!! Can't you read ??? It's on the ticket !!! Minus one star. I order my food online at 11:40am and it was suppose to be ready by noon. My order was finish at 12:50pm... the manager Valerie didn't care about the online orders. She was only focus on the customers that were ordering in person. Such poor performance by her. A lot of ppl cancel their food too. We have been eating at the Beltline location since it opened. The sandwiches are always good. The combo sandwich and salad good too. The salad was fresh and plentiful. 1. Sandwiches taste just okay. Subways tastes better and has more toppings to be honest. 2. The main entrances are not obvious to the first time, non-local customer like me. It would be great to put some welcome/obvious signs on the entrances. 3. The menu is posted beside the order line, customers have to look to the left and turn back to right to talk to the staff while ordering items. It would be more practical to post another menu behind the staff so that customer can look at it while communicating and facing to the staff. 4. Came to this restaurant for a quick bite. The place wasn't too packed at 1pm. We ordered and got our food within minutes.i ordered the Mediterranean sandwich with chicken and it was delicious. 1/17/19 @ 5pm: This location is not up to par like the two Uptown Dallas locations. I ordered an "Underground" sandwich on the app plus a roast beef sandwich and Zapp's chips. All tables were dirty. No clean spots to sit even though the restaurant was empty. This was my friend's first experience to a Potbelly and she liked her roast beef but my sandwich didn't taste as good as other locations. It has a good location with outdoor seating but it is simply not clean and appetizing. The background music was too loud. The free WiFi needs to be reset. WiFi here doesn't actually push any data through so it's worthless. read more

The first time we telephoned our order in for a specific time, when we arrived we still had to wait 20 minutes. This time our food was hot and ready with a little apology gift included! Good customer service goes a long way. The loaded potato soup and brocolli cheedard soup are good. The sandwiches are decent as well. I was so excited a way back when Potbelly's moved to Dallas. I was introduced first in Chicago by brother and we got Wrecked. The ones in Dallas have a very similar feel (guess that's the definition of franchising). This one in Irving is close to work and they handle their crowds with ease. It's fast and easy the the sandwiches are great. I got a chuckle and corrected when I ordered the new sandwich as "Chubby" instead of "Clubby". Theater of the Mind fadeaway "I'll have a Chubby." "You sure will sweetcakes" Cue the porn music. Last time I tried to order online to pick it up fast. But I apparently only ordered chips for $1.08 and had to wait in line. I had never been inside of this place and wasnt sure what expect. Well very nice looking first counter person who turned out to be the Manager when I asked after the purchase. I told him tuna on wheat, then I asked when do i tell what i want it..... next person ..... 4 people with head down and i waited.... finally I asked when who do i tell what i want on my tuna sandwich... it will be a minute ...... wait ....... what do you want on it .... i tell non existent smile ... i asked about my drink ... that comes when you pay....... i wait ...... finally i ask the girl about drink and shes not happy. The next girl comes to cashier ... same question.... when you pay........ ok....... then the girl has my food 2 soups and a sandwich. ..... soup is all over the outside... she says want a bag .. i kind of chuckled and said yes and could you wipe the side .... jeeze she starts talking to other girl both start staring and im looking right at them .... i even told the girl would you want to soup all over your cup? Then i had to ask for drink again... immediately the 2 are gossiping andvataring at me again. Terrible service, acknowledgment and the Manager was oblivious to the whole situation. I have become fairly obsessed with Potbelly, I must admit. This is my favorite workday lunch spot in Irving. They get pretty crowded at lunchtime, but they really know how to make that line move. I love when they have live music at lunchtime, but they haven't been doing that lately, and it makes me sad. My go-to is the Mediterranean Chicken (skinny style, please). It consists of chicken breast, hummus, red peppers, and feta- and supposedly cucumbers, but I don't get the cucumbers because cucumbers are gross (fact). I daydream about this sandwich a lot. There have definitely been days on which I have packed a lunch for work, and sometime mid-morning the Mediterranean Chicken starts calling my name...sorry, Lean Cuisine, you lose. The Skinny Mushroom melt is also in the rotation, when I feel like mixing it up. Which isn't often. I had an Oreo milkshake here once. It was fabulous. I love that they have Pop Chips, but I do wish they would carry some other flavors besides BBQ. And I wish they would stop carrying Zapps because Zapps are delicious and I don't like having to look at the lustfully while I crunch on my Styrofoam BBQ Pop Discs. My only other Potbelly gripe is that it gets to be a little pricey since they don't really offer any kind of a combo. I mean, they do have a "skinny pair" thing where you can get soup and a sandwich for $6.60, but A) my Mediterranean Chicken is not on that menu, and B) it doesn't include a drink. My standard order (Med Chick, chips, drink) is right at $10. That's pretty high for a weekday sandwich shop lunch. But I love it, so I will continue to fork it over. Also, there is this one cashier who works here and he is freaking adorable but I think he's probably about 20 and I am not old enough to resign myself to being a cougar just yet. So, much like the Zapps, I will continue to admire him from afar. read more

The staff here is awesome!!! The sandwiches are good. I wasn't all that pleased with the one I purchased but I'm funny about tuna and chicken salads so it was a bit adventurous for me to begin with. I'm a genuine Potbelly fan. They make some of the best sandwiches in the area. Good bread, especially the multi and flat, good choices, good soups. The chicken salad sandwich and Mediterranean with chicken on flatbread are outstanding. The pepper mix is hot heaven. I'm not in love with the decor -- it's their theme, but it's cheezy.
