    Another healthy fresh lunch!

Always a pleasure to have lunch at the Salad Station. Fresh, healthy, clean and very friendly staff. Just makes you feel better about your day and you are supporting a local small business owner.

This was 16 dollars in total

I would not recommend the garlic herb chicken (extremely dry and it jacks the price up due to its weight) or the fried chicken (it sort of taste like cold McDonald's chicken nuggets). Just get the fresh stuff, you're there to be healthy anyways!!! Decent salad bar, it's self service and very clean, they even offer you gloves to handle the food. If you can beat 9.99 dollars when you check out, that is a win!

THIS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!! 47$ for 2 salads!!! Are you kidding!!!! Nothing fancy or amazing about salad. It's same salad all over. Besides you self serve and finally you weigh along with your dressing and pay plus the tip!!! The dressing is also commonly used in all the restaurants & fast food joints!! Eating veggies, nuts along with some protein is healthy but is it $47 worth healthy, HELL NO!!! This Is not even one time trying thing!! Go to this place if you plan to get ripped off!! Boy the owners of this place are minting millions!!! The crispy cheese cookies or biscuits or what ever they were soft & chewy. Some of stuff was fresh some not so fresh!! You do not need a big place to rip people to make money !!! For the money I spend or even less I could be in all you can eat joint!! But this is a total rip off!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

The Salad Station is a brand new healthy eating option in the Las Colinas/Valley Ranch area of Irving. They are located in the northwest corner of I-635 and MacArthur near Raising Cane's Chicken. It's a boutique, serve yourself salad bar where the amount you pay is determined by the overall weight of your food selections. I don't like to mix savory with sweet, so I put two bowls on my tray and proceeded with my salad selections. All of the veggies and fruit are very bright, fresh, and flavorful. They have several protein options including seasoned grilled chicken, shrimp, and carved turkey breast which made my day! For me, there's nothing worse than a salad place without meat - they won't get repeat biz from me. I always eat salad dry because I love the taste of raw veggies, but they have lots of dressing flavors to choose from along with crunchy toppings. There is also a baked potato bar and a soup bar. I tried the Crawfish Pepperjack soup and it was delicious. I will say that paying $9.99 per pound can add up quickly, especially if you make dense food choices like I do. But my total today was $16.17 which I think is very reasonable considering the high quality and I was stuffed when I left. You can keep your price down by being very mindful of your choices. Lettuce weighs almost nothing, but fruits, proteins, and pasta salads are hefty, so only take what you can eat in one sitting. Also, water is free, but I am an iced tea ($2.59 of my total) addict and lucky for me theirs is fresh! Check this place out! Everything is very clean and new, the food is great, and the staff is very friendly. You won't be disappointed.

The price is based on weight but I had a decent amount of food that was cheaper than some fast food places!

He was personable, helpful, and attentive throughout our meal. We were excited for him becoming a first time uncle a couple hours before our meal. Started with an iced tea, which was fresh brewed, and some fried green tomatoes. They only hiccup for us was it seemed like they were served with white tartar sauce, instead of remoulade sauce. The fried green tomatoes were very lightly battered and perfectly fried. Delicious! My wife liked the tartar sauce, but I was disappointed. You don't find pickle chunks in remoulade sauce. For our entrées, she had the Reuben and fries, and I had the fried chicken strips and waffle (also came with fried eggs). Both were really good; huge portions we could not finish.

He would always come back and check on us just to make sure everything was going well. His customer service skills were top notch! Especially now of days it's hard to find good customer service. I ordered the steak and egg hash, and we also shared an order of fried green tomatoes. Everything came out fast and didn't take long at all. On my entree there was a lot of the salad dressing and potatoes that was overpowering, but the steak and eggs were pretty delicious. Wish there was a location closer to where I live!

We ate pretty early around 5pm, and it was very empty, which was nice because it meant our food came fast. We tried the chicken shawarma bowl and the beef shawarma bowls. The food tasted delicious, but did seem a little less fresh, like maybe it had been sitting for a while, which would make sense because it wasn't exactly prime dinner hour yet, so maybe perhaps left from lunch? Either way, the portions were great, enough to take home leftovers. And the flavor of the meat was superb. They were so warm and kind to our family, especially our two year old. I appreciated the thoughtful touches the staff added to make our dining experience special. It definitely gave the cozy feeling of a mom and pop diner but mediterranean style! I loved it. We will definitely be coming back.

I came in for the soft opening after weeks of renovations, and while the name and menu are the same, everything else is not. This is not the same restaurant. If you knew the original owner, you would know he created something special. It felt like you were being welcomed into his home. He took pride in the food and in making sure every customer felt well cared for. Appetizers always came out first with some friendly conversation, and you could feel the care he put into every detail. That experience is gone. First, I waited 30+ minutes for a dish that normally takes 15, even on a busy night. When I left, a couple who had ordered before me were still waiting for their wraps! Second, the food has changed. The chicken shawarma and gyro recipes are different, and the gyro was actually cold. The sauces, which used to be the highlight, are not the same. The red sauce is gone, and the garlic sauce tastes different. The rice is different. The salad is now a small pile of romaine, onion, cucumber, black olives, and corn with no dressing. Overall, the new recipes feel like a massive downgrade from the original recipes. Lastly, I told the host I would be dining inside, but my food was served in plastic containers. Meanwhile, a nearby group that appeared to be staff or family was served plated food that looked noticeably fresher and better prepared. It honestly felt like their food was prioritized over paying customers, which may have explained the delays. The menu photos have not changed, but they no longer reflect what is actually being served. That feels misleading, especially for customers like me who were excited for the reopening. Very disappointing.
