LIMITED PORTIONS- my co-workers and I placed an on-line order when we received it we were surprised that the amount was small/ limited. We payed $13 for a salad smaller than Mc D, Chick-fil-A We did request an extra side of dressing since the container is small and they charge $1 extra seems a bit greedy limiting Lettuce - Greens and then charging extra. My favorite has been the blackened salmon with the choice of multiple fresh ingredients. The restaurant wasn't busy the last two times we visited. Surprising because the quality of fresh ingredients -- and especially the salmon -- was flavorful. And the BBQ ranch dressing was an added touch. My coworkers mentioned to try Snappy Salads a few months ago, so I finally did so yesterday for lunch. The setup is just like Salata, except here you can only select 6 items before paying $0.75 extra per topping. I was not a fan of that since other places allow you to get unlimited options on orders. I decided to create my own salad, which was a tofu salad with an assortment of vegetables, along with feta and parmesan cheeses, and some sort of tomato basil vinaigrette. The salad itself was really good! The red cabbage had a nice sweetness to it, and I love how they offer pepperoncinis!!! However, I'm not the biggest fan of regular salads and prefer salad wraps. While Snappy Salads offers wraps, there is no option to create your own salad wrap, which I would want to do. Despite the service being decent (got my salad pretty quickly) and the clean interior (not many people were inside), I probably won't return because nothing stands out for me to be a returning customer--and because I can't make my own salad wrap. read more

Tried Snappy Salads (SS) for the first time today since my "go to" (Salata) was closed. The first MAJOR difference is unlimited (Salata) vs limited (SS) toppings. Just having to count and remember 12 toppings (limit for a large) is an annoyance enough. You'd think with a limit of 12 toppings, that would keep SS's costs down / controlled. But instead a large salad after tax and the same "okay" (carry out) tip percentage is $13.25 at Salata vs $17.50 at SS. Both products received are great, fresh, tasty, and pretty much identical in size. If someone from Snappy can tell me reasons I may not be considering that make their salad worth over 32% more than Salata's, I'll take those factors into consideration. Until then it's Salata at less than a mile away from SS for me! read more

I went there today and ordered the GoGo Wrap and the Blackened Sockeye Salmon Salad. Yea I got both because I had a buy one get one free. The only modification done to the order was to add arugula to the salad. The wrap was delicious. I will buy it, again. One of my friends had been raving about Snappy Salads. Last week, I decided to join her on a lunch run. The employees were beyond inviting and friendly. Being a first time customer, they explained the menu and were patient with me since so many of the salads looked tempting. I ended up opting for the warm shrimp salad and they went to work making it. Now, I have never had a warm salad so I wasn't sure how I would like it. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! It contained chili shrimp, cabbage, carrots, zucchini, edamame, crispy wontons chips and sesame ginger vinaigrette. Perfect on the salt and pepper. What I didn't like was the price... around 12$. A little on the expensive side if you ask me. Also, you do get a huge portion for the half size.. that was nice. I ended up taking the rest of my salad to-go. What I saw when transferring the salad to a to-go box was that there was SOOO much dressing at the bottom. The lettuce was drenched in dressing and I had to throw it away later. That was really a bummer.. so I would probably ask them next time not to put so much dressing. Cool environment however.
