I blame myself for this purchase--another reason not to buy corned beef or pastrami in the Irving area. This sandwich looked decent when I first opened the package, but that impression ended as soon as I touched the hard, stale bread. I tried to revive the meal with a nearby microwave, but it didn't help much. Once I bit into the sandwich, it was extremely dry. The Swiss cheese was hard, and at times the sandwich was so dry it almost felt dusty when I tried to swallow it. It was honestly inedible. I literally had to throw it out. read more

The service was excellent. I don't know if the manager felt my energy but I was upset. I had went to another establishment and order a Reuben (which is my favorite sandwich) and they gave me three slices of meat. Like it was horrible. But anyway, I drove to this location and I was served with a smile. My sandwich was fresh and I am mad I ate it all up. Like why did I do that? Now, I want another. I am also happy that they reminded me that they have ice cream. Because I needed it. My first sandwich at the other restaurant was horrible. They may need to hire someone to clean up those tables however because it was sort of not clean in there. But besides that I was really happy! It isn't a New York Reuben but for what it is worth, I liked it! read more

Told them about my bad day and they hooked me up. That goes a long way. Was also really fast and as usual great food

Our family loves visiting Jason's Deli wherever we go. During our recent Dallas trip, we came to this particular JD's location. We arrived around 3:30pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was empty. We ordered our usual: salad bar, New York Yankee sandwich, kid pasta and kid pizza. Food was great as usual. Salad bar was overall good. A couple of the ingredients were running low. Restaurant was clean. Employees were friendly. Kids LOVED the free ice cream. (We think they scarf down the food as fast as humanly possible just to get the ice cream.) read more

I took my granddaughters to lunch today. The food was superb, the service very welcoming and quick, and so clean and peaceful.

We had Jason's deli catered for lunch. I had a Cobb salad with extra dressing. I added extra jalapeño ranch dressing. Everything tasted fresh. Great salad! read more

Has a very similar style/ambiance to the major chain Panera Bread. I didn't order any of the most popular dishes. The BLT looked very good. The restaurant was as busy and could has used some TLC in the dining room but Monday lunch rush, so I understand! What did I order: -mesa Chicken salad (good but wouldn't order again) the dressing was very watery! -ice water Overall: stop in, I bet their sandwiches are very good but wouldn't rave about my experience. This is just your average deli lunch spot read more

This is my go-to for soup. I was feeling a bit under the weather, so I went to Jason's Deli to pick up some broccoli cheese soup. Service was great. The store is also neat. I was offered a drink while I waited which I declined. I have a habit of that which I'm trying to break. Honestly, I was just trying to get in and get out. I believe it was the manager that provided the excellent customer service. While I waited, he was joking around with his employees. They seemed liked a good team working together. Not something you see very often these days. When he handed me my soup, he let me know that he added a chocolate chip cookie. Now, how did he know that CCCs are my favorite. Thank you, Sir! read more

But every single time here comes Kalani to the rescue, with the biggest smile, no need to get my phone and read through my notes to make sure I get my order right, and let me tell you it's such a nice feeling to see that Kalani remembers our meal ever single time. We can see that he truly cares about the customers, he's very courteous, and polite. Always making us feel like VIPs lol. I want to send a humongous Thank You to Jason's Deli! Working in a hospital during this pandemic has been exhausting, mentally, physically and emotionally. This particular restaurant generously donated lunches to us and it was such a wonderful surprise. Super thankful that they considered those of us who don't eat meat and offered a vegetarian boxed lunch! This included a sub full of fresh veggies, dressing and cheese. So good! The lunch kit also included chips, cookie and pickle spear. Your generosity was very, very appreciated! read more

Today I ordered through the app. I was in a hurry, I had to get back to work. When I checked in. The cashier asked if I was " pick up" I said yes. After waiting another 7 min or so. After a bunch of other people got there orders. She looked at the "to go rack" and there was my order. I guess there's a difference between "pick up and to go orders". So my food was already there getting cold. After I finally got it home. I opened it to see they forgot my au jus dip. On the app I just put "no sides" not no dip. Needless to say I went back and got my money back! The manager did offer a new sandwich and refund my money. I ran out of time and had to return to work. On the returned money I noticed they kept the "tip" On a positive note: only had to wait 6 more hours until dinner. Larry read more

The manager, is top notch. The staff is kind and pleasant. Ended up having an impromptu bday party.

Notice the response from the business owner to my review. Although my original rating remains the same, it's worthwhile to consider the fact the person in charge takes responsibility and is committed to solving the problem. That's not always the case. Of course, the real test is your experience and mine when you visit. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this Jason's deli! Earlier in the week I came down with a cold and was really wanting a good bowl of chicken noodle soup. I came here to order takeaway. I waited less than 10 minutes in the middle of a very busy lunch hour before my food was bagged and ready! I wish I knew the name of the older lady who handed me my order as she was exceptional. She was so warm and encouraged me to fill up with crackers and muffins from the salad bar. Food is healthy and affordable. For two bowls of soup, a large Texas spud, and a very big cookie, I paid less about $20. That doesn't even include all the wheat thins and ginger muffins that came with the meal. Great food, great service, great price. read more

Awesome delicious quick lunch spot! I don't eat meat so much anymore and what I really liked was their numerous meatless options. Not only that, service is quick and the employees are so kind! I can assure you this location is always packed during lunch but don't let that deter you from stopping by because the line goes by pretty quickly. I ordered the zucchini roasted pepper pasta which came with toasted fococcia bread (it came in a lighter portion or a regular portion) for lunch which was incredibly tasty and vegetarian because it had asiago cheese. I really liked the portion options because I wasn't stuffed and it was a nice lunch! read more

Stopped for a quick lunch before hitting the road and we were immediately greeted with so much kindness and energy it couldn't help but make our day. My daughter and I shared the chicken panini and they split it for us and gave us extra chips; the boyfriend had the California Club with steamed veggies. This store was clean and bright, the tables tended to as soon as empty and who doesn't like free soft serve ice cream to top off their meal? Btw, total for two sandwiches and one drink came to $20.22. read more

Good afternoon, I am writing this review due to a disappointing lunch I had Monday April 17, 2023 I ordered the Pastrami on White bread with a cup of broccoli cheese soup. I have been to many Jason's Deli over the years and it's normally pretty good. Please note this day's experience: a. No place to sit due to many of the tables not being bussed. I had to clean my own table. b. The salad bar area with all the drinks, crackers, utensils, etc. Dirty! It was early lunch, and it looked like it was not cleaned up from the day before. c. Sandwich: My meat was dry, and it look like small left over pieces of pastrami left over night in the refrigerator (some of the pieces were cold some warm) . d. Soup - The soup was thin and warm not hot. This was so disappointing, I was hungry and, in a hurry, to get to the airport. I don't know if it was a one-time thing or just me. But gosh, this experience probably ruined it for me. I remember when Jason's was always excellent. Not it's sub par. read more

Excellent spot for a quick dinner that has healthy options! Their menu lists the caloric information for each of their items so if that is something you care about it is posted and helpful when choosing what to consume. The salad bar has loads of great options for greens, pasta salads, muffins, and ice cream. I was at a business around the corner and asked the girl working there what was good to eat around the area and she suggested Jason's based on what I told her my dietary preferences were. I'm so glad I asked and then chose to eat here for dinner. Now that I know what Jason's is all about I will be sure to look for them when I'm out and about in the future. read more

In my many visits to Jason's Deli, I've only ever had two things: the Mediterranian Wrap and the Ranchero Wrap. And of course the sides that come with each. And occasionally a Cranberry-Walnut-Oatmeal cookie. This cookie is the bomb! It's always fresh and flavorful. Uh, I digress as this is not a cookie review. Back to Jason's Deli. Unlike some of their competitors Jason Deli's uses mostly natural and/or organic ingredients. This makes for a much healthier and flavorful meal. When I visit this specific location I normally do 'carry-out' as a matter of preference. While they offer the option to order online ahead of time I never remember to take advantage of that. I end up placing my order there and waiting a few minutes for them to prepare it. The wait has never been very long; 5-7 minutes. This location does get very busy during the lunch hour rush. There is plenty of seating area at this location. I've never noticed anyone standing around looking for a table. They seem to always be staffed accordingly to handle the peak periods which keeps things moving along. The next time you're in the mood for a fast, tasty, healthy and reasonably priced meal, try Jason's Deli. And don't forget the Cranberry-Walnut-Oatmeal cookie. read more

So, I really really like Jason's Deli but strangely enough it's not for their sandwiches. I'm a big fan of their baked potatoes (which are incredible) and their pastas. I'm really surprised that it's the things that are not the staple of their business that impress me the most. FYI, parking at this location is hellacious during the lunch hour because of all the restaurants that share the same lot. Be aggressive if you want a spot! Normally I get the Plain Jane spud or the Texas spud depending on my mood, and both are always HUGE and delicious. You definitely get your money's worth with these and they are so yummy. I also really like their chicken alfredo because it has a really good flavor to it, and although it's not the largest portion and is a little more expensive, it's good if you're in the mood for pasta! However, lately I've been trying to be all good and healthy so I went for the chicken caesar salad (not the lowest calorie option, but better than a potato, and hey I'm TRYING here). This thing was so big I didn't even finish half of it, the other half is currently sitting in my fridge telling me to finish it. It was pretty good, and had a lot of chicken in it. The grated parmesan on top was very good, and I liked that caesar dressing, although it didn't seem to be the traditional caesar but some version of their own. Overall it was pretty yummy, but not an amazing salad. Next time I go I think I'm just going to have the potato and jog an extra mile. Mmmmm... read more

It was bad. I frequent JD but this location was off - meals were not appetizing at all. Gross. Visit another

I used to love Jason's and tried this location last week and yesterday. Forgot how good they were. Last week had half of a corned beef sandwich which was not much too it but the bread and meat was very good. Yesterday I was more hungry and I don't think i've tried the steak po boy before so got a regular one and it was sublime. Jason's is as good as Jersey Mike's but I think a little better and bigger. Prices are a little high but is what it is. I do think it's better then Firehouse in the same complex here also. For chained deli places, there is Jason's then there is everyone else. read more

The service is awful! I ordered a turkey sandwich with chicken noodle soup. The base of the chicken soup was horrible. There wasn't any good customer service presence on a Saturday night. The staff weren't smiling or welcoming. The atmosphere was dead. I will not come back here especially since ai was visiting the area. My thoughts of a Jason's Deli was not met here this evening. The place was a mess when I arrived. I waited over 20 minutes for a turkey sandwich and soup that was not good at all. I hope things change for incoming customers because I was not happy here! read more

Pros: Clean, fresh salad bar consistent with other locations. The service is also friendly and helpful here. Ample parking. Cons: Slightly congested seating. No small plates at the salad bar. These come in handy for little side items such as cottage cheese or muffins. There is only so much you can pile in that salad plate. And I don't know if this always the case, but there didn't appear to be any light Ranch dressing available. Still - a great choice for a salad during the hot summer. Lots of businesses around here for a lunch one-stop shop. read more
