Lunch Special: Chicken tetrazzini w/ 2 sides for 12.99!

Lunch Special: Chicken tetrazzini w/ 2 sides for 12.99! huge selection of lunch sides like mash potatoes and different soups. The chicken tetrazzini was yummy but the rice and vegetables were pretty bland. I did enjoy the vegetables after adding salt/pepper. You can also choice a bread with your meal and i went with homemade garlic bread which is just texas toast with garlic bread on both sides Id definitely return on break because this place closes at 3pm!!

J's Deli is surrounded by office buildings, but close to the main street. I went during lunch and there was plenty of seating space. The inside was clean. I went here because I read a review about paninis and I was craving one. It was okay. I appreciate that they used the right bread which is hard to find lately. The service was speedy and incredibly helpful.

I liiiiiive for paninis but a really good one is hard to find here in the metroplex... but this one is bomb No. 3 Panini - grilled chicken, bacon, tomato, onion, guacamole, herb, mayo and provolone cheese. Then they press that little baby and it's delish. Fries were crispy and Golden and seasoned well!

Philadelphian & panini with fries. Soooo good.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.

They did seem a little busy and I believe there may have been a shift change at some point. It took us 15 mins to get a table outside. I will add the wait time is the only bummer in my experience. It took a good minute to get our beverages and food. There was a crowd but it seemed to be in and out pretty quicky. The food was great! I ordered their sangria, very refreshing and not overly sweet. Southern shakshuka. $15.99 two eggs* baked in a tomato, spinach, & peperonata sauce, over stone-ground goat cheese grits, topped with basil (710 cal) - This combo was good, loved the creaminess and even had leftovers for the next day. Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken & Waffles $16.99 Hand-breaded crispy chicken tenders drizzled with sriracha honey, served over golden buttermilk waffles. --enjoyed the Spiciness it truly was subtle but did grow as you continued to eat. The buttermilk Waffles were fluffy and light and full bite with the drizzled syrup was everything. Enjoyed the flavors of the whiskey flight and happy you have the flavor cards to be able to give the tasting a proper review. Over all price is average in comparison but the food quality is there so I have no issue spending an extra dollar or so. I would like to stop by again when it's less busy.

Located in Irving-Las Colinas's Toyota Music Factory, it's a perfect place to grab coffee and a bite to eat. This location has quickly become one of my favorite spots at TMF. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - It's a cozy, welcoming space that will draw your attention to the wall with all the menu items. Assorted pastries and grab & go bites sit behind the glass counter leading to where you place your order. There are tons of assorted seating, from booths to even an alcohol\coffee bar. And when you come for lunch, the aroma from their wood fired grill fills the air. 1 Star. Service - The staff is great. You place your order, get a number, and the food is delivered to you. On my visit, the one lone staffer was taking a long To Go order over the phone. The manager noticed and quickly came to take our order. This is great awareness and service! 1 Star. Food - I love coming here for lunch because of the grill. On this visit, I went with the beef kabobs and brussels sprouts with sweet chili sauce. First, the kabob was some of the most tender beef I've ever had. Is was soft, perfectly grilled, and paired well with the grilled bell peppers and onions. Never underestimate the depth of flavor from a wood fired grill. But the star of my dish was the brussels sprouts with sweet chili sauce. The tender brussels sprouts were great, but oh my that sweet chili sauce was incredible. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. While Kitchen 101 has a huge menu, the items I've ordered have been a hit. I'll be back for those brussels sprouts and weekend brunch. 1 Star.

This visit we didn't get any entrees or drinks we were there for the cake. We don't have one in our state so we were ECSTATIC to find out there were a few in the metroplex area. We did go 2 out of our 4 days there. Just get the cake, ask for a middle piece. Everything is locally sourced and the whipped cream is made fresh and you can tell. Every bite is heaven. The slices are pretty big so 2 of us share one. The service is fantastic and fast. Zero complaints. Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar - Comfort, Cocktails, and a Sweet Finish…read more A quick stop in Fort Worth to visit friends during our six-week road trip led us here, and it turned into one of those "glad we chose this place" kind of nights. The space is large, comfortable, and full of life, even on a Wednesday evening. There are cozy sofa corners if you want something a little more intimate, plus an outdoor area that's "outside"... but not too outside, which honestly feels like a win. Drinks were a highlight. My boulevardier was spot on, and then I shared a smoked Old Fashioned with my friend that was just... exquisite. Smooth, balanced, and a little dramatic in the best way. Food held its own. The chicken and waffles were delicious, the chopped chicken salad was fresh and satisfying, and my friend's Reuben got a lot of love from her side of the table. And then came dessert. We shared the Whiskey Cake with praline ice cream, and let's just say, it lives up to the name. Decadent, rich, and absolutely worth it. Service was really good. Attentive without hovering, and thoughtful in those small ways that stand out. At one point, our server split the Old Fashioned for us without us even asking. That kind of anticipation earns points. This is the kind of place you return to when you're back in town. Comfortable, reliable, and just indulgent enough to feel like a treat.

Maybe in Canada that's normal. It's not in Dallas; I've never had that happen before. Consider this constructive criticism. Otherwise I like the place. Food is good. Atmosphere nice.
