I've always seen these places and never tried but glad a friend and I went. I had the bblt egg sandwich on a croissant... that was where it was at. The only downside I wish I had more sauce. As a long, long time resident of southlake I've been coming here since it opened.. haven't been in a couple of years.. WOW... talk about change... They do not have nearly the selection they had and it was $20 for soup, sandwich and drink... They use to make in house chips that came with every sandwich along with a pickle.. usually a sandwich place would have pickles right? No chips anymore and no pickle and skimpy on the meat and cheeses in the sandwich... very disappointing! read more

Irving, TX (Las Colinas) Location Every time I visit this store, I have to wait an excessive amount of time to receive my to go order, even when I go up to the counter and give my name. Apparently when you order a to go order in this store, when your order is ready, they put your order the right of the register and call out your name. When you order through the app, when your order is ready, they put it to the left of the register and don't call out your name. My order today was placed through the app and I received a confirmation email at 12:22 PM. The email said my order would be ready at 12:37 PM. I arrived at 12:41 PM and gave my name at the counter and was told my order wasn't ready yet. At 12:55 PM I got up and asked about my order. It had been setting on the counter ready and cold. For what I was charged, I don't want cold soup and 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich. I can go elsewhere and get better food and better service for the same money. read more

Came here for lunch this weekend two days in a row. Came in with a bunch of people (20), and I was afraid that we would overwhelm them, but they rose up to the challenge, both days. Day one I had a half a sandwich and soup which was great. Day two I had a panini and chicken noodle soup. Both of my meals were great. Also they came out pretty fast. Placed an order online for almost $60.00 on 1/11/2023 @ around 5:00pm. Ordered a family meal to take home for dinner after a long day in the office. The order arrived timely. However the first thing i noticed was the brownie were hard. one was ice cold and hard and the other was just hard. i called in regards to my concern and the young lady was pleasant and apologize and requested that i bring it back for a refund. I didnt arrive their until around 6:45/7:00pm once I arrived i met the same young lady again very pleasant that advise her supervisor whom I later found out name was Javier of my concern. Immediately he was very dismissive, short in communication and rude in tone as he was bothered. I advise the brownie were hard he took one of them and pulled it out of the bag and noticed it was hard as he had to use to hand to break and parts of it crumbled in his hand. He then advised its hard but the center is soft in a very irritated manner. I handed the other brownie to the young lady and he then asked for my receipt. I provided it to him and he advised "oh its an online order, we dont give refunds for online order you will need to bring all the food back" I was a bit taken back by this. I then asked so what are my options as I ordered this for dinner. He advise pick something else. I advised i was not comfortable with his tone and i advised well how i am i to know the other items are not hard as well. He advised none of our stuff is hard its made fresh everyday. I then advised that is incorrect as my brownie were hard and he witness one of them himself. he then asked well were is the other brownie. I advised i handed it to the yound and she stated that she threw it away. he stated well thats supposed to be are its a cheesecake brownie that is kept in the refrigerator and walked away. I asked the young lady can you please touch the cookies and let me know if they were hard he did and they didnt seem to be. I then asked him please advise how many I will be able to get being that I just spent over $8.00 on two brownie. he turned around and told the young lady, " well our cookie are $2.79 a piece $3.00 after tax so 3 or four and walked away again as if he was very not talking to me and I was standing right there. he turn his back toward me again and never acknowledge my presence there again. I asked for a supervisor to speak with and the young lady apologized and advised he was the only manager on duty that night. I asked for his name and she advised Javier. I told her thank you that I would contact their corporate in regards. The worst thing happened when I arrived home. not only was the avocado brown on my sandich I paid for cheese on it as well and there was no cheese. So you demeanor was quite nasty as a manager and the quality of food I received was a mess. Very unaccceptable for customer service and the quality of service. I had ordered a tuna melt and asked if I could get it without onions, I was told yes. If I had been told otherwise I would have ordered something else as I am allergic to onions. The onions were chopped really fine and I ate about 3 bites before my throat started tingle and swell. The food was out really quickly and the server was really friendly and inviting. I ordered the Chicken Panini. First of all, the sandwich was super hot so I had to let it cool off for a few minutes. However, once I was able to take my first bite I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious. The pesto and chicken combination was really on point. My Caesar salad was also very tasty and flavorful. I have loved eating at this restaurant many times, BUT, I will think twice before returning. The place was filthy. The staff was very LOUDLY have a great time in the back while MANY tables and booths were left with dirty dishes and trash on the floor. They were having such a loud good time that the poor cashier couldn't hear me when I ordered. In addition, there was a spilled drink by the beverage area complete with a pile of ice cubes on the floor. When I brought this to their attention, they put a slippery yellow warning sign by it and never cleaned it while I was there earring my lunch. In general,the beverage was very dirty. I asked for a booth to be cleared ( at least 5 dirty booths along with several tables were dirty) and was abruptly told they would get to it, which they did several minutes later not bothering to pick up the trash on the floor as they cleaned. I would have more understanding and probably wouldn't have written this review if they were working hard or were understaffed, but they had time to stand in the back laughing and loudly having a great time with each other with disregard for the patrons or the state of the restaurant. Corner bakery is one of our new favorites! We've been so many times since they opened. I have not had a better pancake anywhere. They just melt in your mouth but somehow don't become soggy when the syrup sits on them. The scramblers are good and so are the pastas. The berry salad is really nice too. I like the pick two deal: you get a good sized salad and pasta bowl plus a bag of chips. It's more food than I can eat! We've also tried a few of the bakery treats. We were tasked with working over the weekend to close the year, so we ordered a large lunch order from Corner Bakery on Sunday. There were so many things wrong with our order that I will never patronize this place again. If someone is spending $80-$100 on sandwiches and salads, the delivery of the request needs to be precise. this experience was far from that. 1. Someone ordered a greek salad with chicken. When we got the order back to the office, it was a greek salad with no chicken. she was highly disappointed 2. i ordered the tuna sandwich specifically on wheat bread instead of harvest bread because i have too many food allergies to take chances with breads that have various ingredients, such as nuts or other grains. my tuna sandwich arrived at the office on harvest bread. to be on the safe side, i had to remove the bread and just eat the tuna. i was highly disappointed 3. someone else ordered tuna as well. she wanted no mayo and no dijon mustard; i wanted mayo and dijon mustard. it would have been nice for them to mark which one was which to eliminate the need for someone else touching someone else's food to confirm which one had mayo/mustard and which one didn't 4. we ordered extra pickles on the side for the whole group order, which consisted of 8-10 sandwiches/salads. there were only two extra pickles included The crazy part is, when we ordered, they repeated the order back to us, verbatim...but did not deliver accordingly. this location is in a corporate neighborhood and i would imagine that most of their customers are from businesses in the area since the area is not very residential. since corporate is the demographic, they really need to learn to handle corporate orders (large orders) and deliver the requests. it sucks to get food all the way to the office only to find out that the order is wrong. when you are busy at work, it is not convenient to go back and get it fixed. i'm glad there is a Schlotzky's in the same parking lot. 27 minute Waite for breakfast. About 60 dollars and we were served Luke warm food. Part of our order was missing. Of course it came out wrong and breakfast was not being served anymore. Half of us have eaten while the other half just sits there and waits. Now the flipside of what I normally speak about is the cleanliness of the restaurant. And how well organized it is. Those things are here there were no messes the restaurant was clean and the staff that I did interact with was very kind. After complaining they did offer compensation in the form of muffins and cookies etc. eventually the food that was incorrect did come out everyone agreed that it was nowhere near worth the weight versus the quality. It was fresh as they had to bring everything back out to make breakfast as they were already at the point of making lunch. Whether I go to the restaurant or have them catered, the food is always fresh and pretty good. My experience has mainly been with their breakfast dishes, so my review is mainly based on that and not their lunches/dinners. Pluses: Their bacon is delicious! Their pancakes are really good. So I have used an app called EZ Cater for years and it's always been reliable. I put an order in through them that was to be fulfilled through this location. When the order didn't arrive as scheduled I reached out to the restaurant and spoke with the manager who obviously seemed as if I was bothering her because she had to work. I asked about my order and the late delivery, and she goes "Since this was last minute (it wasn't) I don't have any order, and we don't have delivery drivers on Sunday so I don't know". I inquired if the order was ready that I left a note in the app I would pickup the order, and she states "No it's not ready, I haven't even seen it." So wait a minute EZ Cater has confirmed the order TWICE, but you know nothing. She then puts me on hold and hangs up while I'm holding. I called EZ Cater who then confirms the order is ready, just can't be delivered but they would be happy to find a driver. You mean to tell me it WAS ready, but you chose not to do more. This location is terrible. Never had that problem at others, but sure won't ever use them in the future. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND. read more
