I'll start by saying I am not a fan at baseline of Panera. But yesterday I stopped in with a friend to grab an afternoon snack, a cookie. We walked in and went up to the case and when we got close enough we saw that inside the case were flies everywhere. Sitting on top of the cookies were bugs. We left to say the least. I just don't get other peoples love affair with Panera! Every time I've gone here and gotten a salad and/or sandwich it's been just so average. Maybe because I like my food with a bit more seasoning, but to me Panera's sandwiches just are nothing special. I had the shrimp salad roll. Their description of lemon tarragon mayo with a touch of Old Bay Seasoning sounded really good. But it was really bland. I was wondering if they forgot to season mine! For the money, I'd rather go elsewhere, but somehow I end up at Panera now and again. I don't know why I don't learn my lesson. I guess the joke's on me. Especially considering a typical lunch with a drink will set you back around $15. I think it's a bit too much for such mediocrity. read more

I've been to other paneras and always had the lunch/dinner sandwiches. This one is by my house, so i thought I'd give the breakfast a try. Yuck!!! I ordered the steak and egg.The egg was just tossed on an came falling out of my sandwich. The steak was actual beef, but had been microwaved! It tasted like the leftovers your bring home from dinner then try to reheat in the microwave the next day. I couldn't even eat it. My MIL had the sausage egg and cheese and the sausage had been microwaved to the point of it being dried it and rubbery. I may go to Panera again for lunch, but I'll NEVER eat breakfast there again. read more

Soups are good...but we got the flatbreads the other night to go...what a rip off! All bread...hardly any chicken or other stuff...not made nicely at all...like threw in a few left over pieces of meat and cheese...very disappointed! read more

Honestly this is the 2nd worst Panera I have ever been too (the first was one that was literally out of 99% of the menu) Anyways, I've placed around 5 orders online for this place and 3 out of 5 times they forgot to put the chocolate pasty in the bag. I easily forgave it the first time because everyone makes mistakes. The second time I was a little annoyed but brushed it off. But the third time it happened I was pretty upset. Not even about the stupid pastry but the point of ordering something online and having it messed up over half the time. The fourth time I ordered something online, when I went in to pick it up at the exact time I chose for it to be ready, it wasn't. I waited and waited and nope, it still wasn't ready. Finally, after 10 minutes of waiting (yes TEN minutes) I got up and was going to say something to the cashier but of course there was a line so I was waiting another 5 minutes on line. Finally, as I was about to ask the cashier where my food was some guy yells out my name and gives me my order. Barely a sorry that it took an extra 15 minutes or offering to refund my money or anything. The time I waited I could have just went in and got it but I already paid online for it. Now, I don't want to seem spoiled or stuck up that I can't possibly wait 15 minutes for food but it's the principle of ordering food online. The whole entire point of it is to be able to run in and pick it up. No waiting on line. If it was a few minutes late that's one thing but 15 minutes late for something that should be ready at the exact time it says is absurd. If this place can't handle having online ordering, messing up multiple times, then they shouldn't have it. read more

I used rapid pick up and my order was accurate and waiting for me when I arrived! My food was delicious and it saved time to order ahead.

Great food great prices and a very nice staff. I would recommend they clean the tables more and also keep the mess off the floor of the kitchen where customers can see. read more

We were regular customers until I ordered a sandwich. The quality was good, however the sandwich, and its content got smaller. Probably a corporate decision. This has cost them in terms of my regular meeting place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My group will find another place. read more

So fast and friendly. I felt bad for the manger and the girl at the register. An older gentleman was irate about not having a knife. She had to go in the back kitchen to get one. Now I'm a bartender in boca and I know what it's like to not have supplies. You run out when it's busy. There is nothing u can do. He didn't wait more then a couple mins. I never say things to people but I told the man, listen it is busy and not one seat open, they prob just came out of the wash and they are working hard to accommodate you. He then walked away. But I have to commend the people working there so friend fast and calm with all the customers. I used to live in boynton and now in boca. I will be back for sure! Thank you! read more

Panera's recipes are outstanding. So much so that even though I know the service and the attitude of the staff will always be underwhelming, I still go there now and again. Today, however, I noticed an army of tiny insects (I'm not an entomologist, so I don't know what type they were. I just know that they are the type that should not be in a bakery case) with well established traffic patterns marching through the baked goods. The case looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The young lady said she would tell the manager. The manager came out and moved a few trays around and ran a rag over the area where the bugs were, and put everything back. Said not one word to me, perhaps not realizing the customer who'd pointed it out was still there. This, on top of the fact that I can always count on being treated like I'm an annoyance to the staff when I walk in, is why I have visited Panera for the last time. read more

Today we used the rapid pickup system to place my order. When I got there my order wasn't ready(10 minutes after quoted time)so I went to counter where I was greeted by a young lady. I asked her for my order and she explained that they were out of everything bagels. It's 930 in the morning!!! This is a pattern with this location. To make matters worse the manager couldn't even come out of the office to apologize to me. I cancel my order so they lost a 30 dollar sale. We went right across the street to Einstein's and got out complete order. Overall a very poor experience. Won't be back!!! read more

I was a regular customer for a long time. I had tolerated the dirty bathrooms, bad service and either burnt or under toasted bagels... because it was a very convenient location. however they were just too rude this week, even the store manager, when there was a problem with my order. read more

Nice food it's a nice place to come to with a laptop or some work and just order something small along with it. Food isn't the best and the place itself is not the cleanest but it definitely is in a very convenient location. read more

What a shame. This store has the worse management I have ever seen. Rude, I over heard one manager say to a co worker. I won't help that person, they are Muslim and I'm Jewish and walk away. The store manager is just as bad. I believe his name is Julio. Yelling at workers infront of customers and just an overall unprofessional person. I like the soup at Panera so rather than deal with the managers in that store I drive to coconut creek, it's like a 10 mile round trip when I live literally less than a mile from the west Boca store. I even thought about calling corporate but figured nothing would be done anyway. read more

This was my first and last experience at Panera to get a sandwich to go... I The kid taking my order was not friendly at all and when I asked questions he was not helpful in answering them. I ordered half a sandwich and ice tea. After ordering I went to wait to pick up my order and the lady putting the orders together was a manager. I waited a good 10 minutes before my order came out, which I did not mind the wait but when my order was ready, she tossed the brown to-go bag on the counter and looked at me indicating it was my order. I grabbed my order and left. when I got back to work and opened my sandwhich, it was on the wrong bread and it was the smallest half sandwich I have ever seen. The prices for panera are a lot higher than other places around and doesn't match the value your getting. The only reason I went in was because someone gave me a gift card which I have now passed along the remaining balance onto someone else! read more
