I really enjoyed my ramen from Nori. I had the kao soi ramen and was thoroughly impressed. I would say the broth was more of a curry with noodles than a ramen, however that does not take away from how yummy my dish was. Only reason for a deduction in stars is because the price point was a bit high in my opinion. I ordered my food for pickup. Food was ready on time and I could tell it was fresh off the stove. My meal was still steaming even when we got home. Since we did take out, and did not eat at the restaurant, I cannot give a proper review on ambiance. I really wanted pad Thai, but upon receiving my order, I realized I accidentally ordered a crispy noodle pad Thai? I've never had this before, and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. It was strictly crispy noodles, not regular noodles. It was too crispy and fried, but this was my mistake for not reading! The crispy tuna rice was delicious and the kao soi ramen was the best ramen I've ever eaten. My friend ordered the ramen, and I forgot to snap a photo, but she let me try a few bites and I very much enjoyed it. The star of the show was everything they brought to the table. To start we had their wok chard spicy edamame and tuna crispy rice. OUTSTANDING start. Fresh flavors and perfectly made. For our main course, I had their drunken noodles with shrimp and pork, and my wife had their Tonkatsu Ramen. The freshness, the presentation, the outstanding flavor profiles blew us away. Food here was pretty good. We both enjoyed Tom Yung soup with shrimp. It was delicious with just the right amount of kick. My lady had basil chicken and she loved it. I had Chili Garlic chicken - it was good but t a bit too sweet for my taste. All in all the food was good. The service was slow even though there were not many patrons in the resturant. You can park in the bak. without a charge I like my friends who parked on the street and had to put money in their app. We sat down and ordered a few drinks- wine and sake. Then we each ordered our main dish- I went with a traditional dish with shrimp- peppers. onion and more. Instead of the jasmine rice, I ordered brown rice Awhen the dish to all did come, we had to start eating without two of the dishes at the table because the dishes would have gotten cold. I visited Nori on May 3, 2025. When it came time to pay, I was told their credit card system was having issues. They kept trying to swipe my card anyway, and after waiting a long time with no luck, I ended up paying in cash. Later, I discovered that the card charge actually did go through, meaning I was double charged. I immediately contacted the restaurant, and they assured me they'd follow up with their payment processor to issue a refund. Unfortunately, despite multiple follow-ups, no refund was ever processed. I've now had to escalate the issue through my credit card company. What could have been a simple fix has turned into a frustrating experience that reflects poorly on their accountability and customer service. Disappointing to say the least. I would recommend checking your receipts and bank statements carefully if you dine here--especially if there are "system issues." Make sure to get a receipt if you pay in cash to avoid any unnecessary headaches/stress! read more

I am so angry right now. I ordered beef negamaki and I got disgusting chewy beef on a stick with an awful sauce and 3 or 4 sliced scallions on top. How hard could it be to make beef negamaki. Beef rolled around scallions. The quality of the beef was awful. I also ordered the Thai steak salad and upgraded to better choice meat. It was fatty disgusting meat . Update: last visited twice & I could not stay to eat. The Kao-Soi we were often let to believe was able to be made vegan may not be so any longer, or even worst, may not have been vegan all along. Have made it in too many times & been dissatisfied when a couple of months ago they served it with a soft boiled egg (this is after it was asked to be veganized). Not sure when eggs have become vegan, but in my book they are not. I love their food, but they are way too inconsistent with their handling of their food. I won't be coming back. read more

Met girlfriend and fellow yelp elite Lisa H here for lunch the other day. We came early to avoid any lunch rush, so we had our choice of tables. And we were able to easily find parking spots in the lot behind the building. Inside, it was dark and cool and a welcome respite from the Florida heat. We both remarked that this would be a great date place. The lunch menu had a lot of very appealing and very reasonable lunch options. We debated between pad Thai, or sushi, et al. So many good choices. My friend decided to have their spicy miso ramen. It looked fantastic. All the right stuff included in a tasty broth. I opted for a Thai dish of mixed vegetables in a brown sauce with shrimp. It was very good -- I felt like I was eating "healthy". My only quibble was that I should have ordered it medium spicy instead of mild as i did, just to give it a bit more zing. Service was friendly and accommodating. This was a great lunch stop. My friend Julie suggested it. I was happy to arrive and find plenty of parking behind the buildings on Palmetto Park Rd. The atmosphere was lovely and we took an inside table as we arrived early. The lunch menu was filled with wonderful choices. Bento boxes, Raman and Thai dishes plus more. I started with Thai Iced tea (wonderful) then opted for the spicy miso ramen which was highly rated by others and what a good choice! It had a great flavor, plenty of soup and noodles, pork belly, corn and greens. I would definitely get this dish again, maybe even crave the flavor! I came here hopeful for a good experience since the reviews said so. The restaurant is in a nice area with many restaurants and shopping nearby (Mizner). There is indoor and outdoor seating, but I wasn't a fan of our two person table outside because it was in the main walkway so there were many passersby who grazed close to our table, and being that I'm a big fan of personal space, I wasn't pleased. Another table nearby further added to my discomfort when I began to catch whiffs of a patron's cigarette smoke mid meal. Not the restaurant's fault that the ambience wasn't ideal so, moving on. We ordered ramen and of course I chose something with pork belly, because, why would you ever order anything else? The meat was literally fall apart soft and the broth (a level 4 on the Thai spice ratings) was the perfect balance of heat that I could still eat comfortably. If you order one more level up like my bf did, poor guy, you'll be slurping your broth in between coughs and splutters from the spice going down the wrong pipe. I was impressed by how good the ramen was considering the restaurant is Asian fusion and not solely a ramen eatery. That only leaves me wanting to return and try the other dishes on another date night. Prices were decent and service was attentive, if not a little too eager to clear our plates away too soon. I have visited this restaurant a total of 5 times for both lunch and dinner; Lunch is by far still my favorite bang for the buck. The restaurant itself is tucked away in an unassuming tan plaza next to the road. The FRIED TUFO GREEN CURRY medium spice is solid. The SUNOMONO is fresh & thinly sliced to precision. I'm a huge fan of fresh seafood and conch/octopus are a favorite. AVOCADO ROLL MAKI style (seaweed on the outside) is the perfect balance of creamy goodness mixed with salty seaweed. Heavenly if you ask me! SPIDER ROLL was smaller than I have grown accustomed to. Needless to say, ordering it once was disappointing enough. OCEAN ROLL is worth the price. Order it. Service is slow so do not be in a rush. The waiter & waitress are very nice and the restaurant is clean. Three of us came in for dinner and the food was good with my tonkotsu short rib ramen bowl being the winner for most delicious. My friend enjoyed her cucumber roll but didn't seem super impressed. My other friend got the lobster roll and I've had much better. This one tasted somewhat fishy. I thought the prices were pretty high for the quality of good. But then again you are in Boca so it's expected and accepted for the most part. I had leftovers and they brought a small container which we all felt would not fit in it. I was afraid to spill it so they offered to do it in the kitchen and I suggested they use a bigger container. I used to go to nori for ramen but my last experience wasn't all that great i got the tonkatsu with short rib. I told my server the short rib was dry and he was like oh okay -__- and he acted like it wasn't a big deal or that it wasn't a problem? I got the yakitori (1/5, flavor wasnt good and dry) and the squid (4/5, flavor was good! And good texture). I was driving down from Delray and found this cute spot on the way back in Boca. I'd never been to Mizner shopping center before but definitely recommend! Great place to walk around. I came at lunch time and there was plenty of seating, the waitress attended to my table right away. The service was great the entire time, she made sure my water wasn't empty and asked how everything was a few times. As for the food, unfortunately the ramen looks better than it tastes. I really felt like the broth was average, to me the broth in ramen makes a huge difference so it affected the rest of the bowl. For the price ($11), it was decent and also a pretty substantial serving size. I wouldn't mind coming again to try the spicy miso ramen, hopefully my bowl was just a miss that day.
