His conditions were: 1) All you can eat 2) Nearby My conditions were: 1) Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was on the all you can eat menu 2) Good reviews on Yelp I happened to really like everything we ordered, and everything they served us. . . It was funny that every time we ordered our rolls, even though they were the same roll, they came different every time. For example: we ordered the 'Fancy Roll' twice, and one time it came without cucumbers, and the other time it did. (It's supposed to come with cucumbers.) (I maybe thinking of another roll from the menu but this is an example that happened.) Another thing to note is that this is a Brazilian x Japanese establishment, which my boyfriend and I didn't know. Basically everyone was only speaking Portuguese, even the hostess greeted us and farewelled us in Portuguese. I want to start by saying I've never had an issue with this place before. Unfortunately what I encountered left me completely disappointed. I came in for a delivery pickup, gave the name on the order clearly, showed it on my phone, and was still asked to repeat myself multiple times despite the information being right in front of the host. That alone felt dismissive but I stayed patient. What really caught me off guard was when I went to take the bag, the host grabbed it and held on with what I can only describe as a grip I've never experienced in any restaurant interaction. I've done hundreds of pickups and I have never had someone physically resist handing over a confirmed order like I was attempting something wrong. I wasn't rude, I wasn't aggressive, I simply came to do my job. The lack of basic respect shown toward delivery drivers here is genuinely shocking. These are the people keeping your third party revenue alive. I raised my concern with management and received a dismissive response with no real accountability taken. The reviews here suggest the food may be worth trying but if this is how the staff treats people who are there to support the business I can't in good conscience recommend it. OMG! I have eaten sushi all my life and have had many great sushi meals before. However, I have never had the sushi like I had today. This was the most amazing experience of flavors and tastes. Our server Murillo did all the ordering for us and he explained every dish he brought out, starting with appetizers then entrees and finally an array of desserts. Today we went for the all you can eat sushi for lunch for around $40 per person, and what an amazing bargain. I am a fan of the establishment forever now. First time there and will be going back often. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Don't forget to request Murillo as your server and just let him keep bringing different sushi to the table. read more

We were so pleasantly surprised at our dinner here the other night. The restaurant is located in an unusual to us location -- a little off the beaten track -- in Deerfield Beach. It's on the end of a strip of stores and is brightly lit inside. They specialize in All you can eat, but it's not a buffet. It's fairly expensive, but they give you a discount if two people order at once. A number of tables around us were taking advantage of this offer where you order almost all you want off a special menu. This is good for a large group who would like to hangout, eat a bit, relax, and eat a bit more. We thought this would be too much food for us as we weren't that hungry. Instead of the AYCE, we ordered off their a la carte menu. We started by sharing an order of fried pork gyoza. They were delivered quite fast. Our server, Lucas, was very accommodating and pleasant. He asked us if we wished for any sauces, and we said all of them. He brought soy sauce, eel sauce, wasabi, and ginger slices. My husband got their spicy salmon roll. It was large with ten pieces. He had the choice of having avocado or cream cheese in his roll. He chose avocado. He said his roll was quite good -- very fresh. I had a JB tempura roll with salmon and krab and cream cheese. It was coated with panko on the outside. As I requested the salmon inside to be well done, they cooked the roll a bit longer than usual. It was crispy but very good. I dipped it into the sweet eel sauce. Most of the customers inside the restaurant were speaking Portuguese. You won't have a problem ordering here, however. When we asked Lucas about it, he said it's a family-owned business and the owners are Brazilian. We had a nice chat about my trip (a very long time ago) to Rio De Janeiro, and I got to use the few words that I know in Portuguese. We liked it here and hope to come back soon. read more

This fairly new Brazilian Sushi restaurant near by offers all you can eat dinners. We decided to give the place a try. We weren't hungry enough to go for the All You Can Eat featured, so we shared some fried pork dumplings which were very tasty! I also ordered the Spicy Roll, ten pieces of Salmon with Avocado. Our food was brought out timely and was very good. If you are interested in the AYC, it runs $49 for one person, while a discount for two comes in at $79, not including beverages. I had lunch at Temak House; we were the first guests there. Let me tell you, this place gets busy fast! There's a reason for it, the food is excellent, the presentation is amazing and for the amount of food you receive the price is very fair. I went with a friend and we had a hard time making up our mind on drinks because it is somewhat limited there but then we went on the à la carte menu and went with a Poké bowl. Their spicy tuna and spicy salmon live up to the name. That's fine by me, I like spicy! Again large portion but this was basically breakfast lunch and dinner for me so $18 for that bowl was worth every penny. The truffle Parmesan edamame is not to my taste but there's nothing wrong with it, I just didn't like the combination. That's 100% me, not them. The service was on point and very friendly however, they do need a second chef during the lunch rushes - the poor man behind the counter was going 100 miles an hour trying to keep up with all the orders. Every single table was full within a half an hour of opening! It's not a large restaurant but it's on the end of a strip mall adjacent to a McDonald's. I can't imagine why anybody would spend $12 for McDonald's garbage win for a few dollars more you can sit down and have such a fabulous meal. It's a little loud because it is quite tight quarters and not more than maybe 20 tables. I didn't count but it's pretty inside and very clean which is more important to me than paintings. I've eschewed US sushi for some time after having the real deal in Japan but this definitely hit the spot! While I'm not in the area often I will be back. read more

The situation was honestly embarrassing and very disappointing. When we place pickup orders, we don't order just one item--we typically place at least four orders at a time. On this particular day, we placed at least six orders and also wanted to try some of the sweet options. We were clearly told that there would be a banana roll with dulce de leche and a strawberry roll with Nutella. Based on that information, we decided to order the strawberry Nutella roll. When we received it, we couldn't believe it: we were charged $12 for six slices of strawberry with Nutella. At no point did anyone tell us that it was not actually a roll, nor did they explain the size or what we would be receiving. The description given to us was completely misleading. We politely and respectfully raised our concerns, expecting at least an explanation or acknowledgment of the misunderstanding. Instead, the only response we received was, "Thank you for the feedback." This is not a matter of feedback--it is a matter of misleading customers. Unfortunately, we have to bring our complaint here because no solution was offered, no apology was given, and our concerns were completely dismissed. We have been frequent customers and place large pickup orders regularly, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We simply expected honesty, transparency, and basic customer service. We had a fabulous time last evening CELEBRATING our son, Matthew's 33rd birthday with his wife Taleessa and ten of his talented and cool friends! Hostess, Gabriele was a doll and our sevice from server, Jonathan was fantastic! The Brazilian infused sushi was delicious and we all went with the all you can eat option for seventy nine dollars. The restaurant was packed with lots of people, even kids eating sushi, very cool. Atmosphere was lovely. Taleessa brought a yummy Brazilian birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday. Just arrived into Miami and did not want to travel far for Japanese food. This restaurant is close to my hotel and was not busy this rainy evening. The service exceptional. The wait staff always checked up on us. The Salmon was cooked Medium the way I like it. Some restaurants over cook salmon and it dry in the middle. This restaurant offers a Brazilian all-you-can-eat option for just $60, where you can enjoy as much sushi as you'd like. Most of the sushi is salmon-based, and the quality is absolutely top-notch. What an awesome experience at TemakHouse! We came here with a group, that included my Brazilian brother in law, ready to eat. We all chose to do the all you can eat lunch and when I say it's all you can eat... It really is all you can eat. It's not your typical kind of Americanized Japanese sushi, although they do have some traditional style roll options. Be prepared to try something new and different. They do use a lot more salmon than a traditional American/Japanese sushi restaurant Normally would. They had a lot of different kinds of Brazilian style type sushi we got to try. I liked the passionfruit on top of the salmon with the cream cheese roll that we tried was absolutely amazing. Perfect blend of savory and sweet. When you order, you only get a few pieces at a time to ensure that there's no waste. But you can order as much as you want. We tried to order a variety of different things to be able to try a little bit of everything. Definitely recommend coming here with a large group and a big appetite so you can really take advantage of trying an array of sushi items from their menu. This is the best all you can eat sushi place ever!! It's not a buffet so the sushi is not sitting out getting gross. It's made to order so you can literally order 5 different things and share with the whole table (only if everyone is doing "rodízio"). This place is a Brazilian sushi restaurant, which means they have all kinds of different rolls, some with fruits, and interesting flavors you don't normally find at a regular sushi restaurant. They have a lot of servers so you don't have to wait forever to get service. The drinks are also delicious and you're welcome to sit there and eat for hours without anyone bothering you to leave. They always play music but not too loud, low enough that you can carry a conversation without having a hard time hearing the other people talking. The servers are always super nice, I'm lucky to always get Lucas, who is very attentive, funny and patient! I highly recommend this place if you're ever craving sushi. It's so worth the $$ read more

Very casual, but they have parties all the time so you can dress as you like. They do reservations ! ** Food Safety** They have a great selection here, and a very interesting fact is that they don't use the same pans or plates and utensils to prepare food. So let's say you are allergic to shrimp for example, you don't need to worry about tasting it on or order! Now, about the food. A five star for the chefs there, they know exactly how to cut sashimi! The presentation of all dishes is like a show. As for the flavor, I learned in the past that if the fish is not cut properly, the taste changes and is not right... honestly this is the major problem when I go to any sushi place that is not a traditional Japanese chef... but in Temaki house they know what they are doing. One of my favorites is the octopus sashimi. The entries are all delicious, my choice is always the shimeji and baked pork gyoza. The sashimi always comes next... as much as we can eat and they let you choose how many pieces you desire of each item in their menu. I always order some passion fruit joys, my husband prefers the joy tempura. The fried part of the buffet are the ones that I eat at the end, and all the options are so delicious, the minimum per order is 4 but we always eat more. The price is fair and they have many beverage options. If you are not a huge fun of rodízio, you can ask for the à lá carte menu. The portions are bigger and they have a different selection there. I don't usually eat dessert after a rodízio. But they have a lot of delicious options, and some sweet rolls! I love the Nutella one and the banana with cinnamon! Enjoy! read more

When the hostess (Lorena or Camilla) realized I spoke English, her demeanor shifted noticeably--she appeared impatient and unwelcoming. The atmosphere quickly became uncomfortable, as both hostesses began to make us feel out of place through disapproving looks and eye-rolling. As someone with experience in the restaurant industry, I understand the importance of facial expressions and genuine hospitality. Unfortunately, that was lacking during this visit. Decided to go there for my sister's birthday last night. Beautiful restaurant. The sushi (that we was able to eat) was deliciously made. HOWEVER, the service - what a disappointment! We arrived at 7:20pm and left at 8:20pm. Our table was served 3x during that time while we were paying for rodízio (all you can eat). I took notice that the table that sat at the same time as ours was constantly being served. One of the waitress (who I appreciate very much) was clearly ashamed of the cooks, who kept putting our order in the back burner and waved her away when she complained we weren't being served. It was clear they kept making the orders that went in after ours. I had heard great things about this place but apparently the kitchen only works correctly when the owners are present. And yes, we paid full price for what should've been 50% off. read more

The only thing that I would change is that there isn't a ton of variation in the ingredients. Lots of salmon, but I like salmon so I wasn't mad about it. This is our third time coming here, the food is FABULOUS! Every time we go there we do the RODIZIO. Rodízio is an all you can eat Brazilian style but you can also order a la carte. Our favorites are all the cariocas rolls specifically the Carioca croc, the Miami heat roll, The Hura spicy mayo is amazing, we ordered the seaweed 3 times, the fried rice is good. Can't think of one bad thing. Everything is super fresh, so even though it's a rodízio you order from the menu and they make it fresh. The desserts are to die for. The banana Nutella crunchy sushi is soooo good and the Romeo and Juliet is also delicious. This place is definitely one of the best sushi places in town ! read more

So based on my experience (I am not Brazilian but have lived there so know the culture well) for Brazilians this place is a 5 star for sure! However, I am not, and do not like sweet sushi. When I eat sushi I like flavor, different Asian sauces. I do not like boring. And that's how the food at this place tasted. Very boring. First off our waiter was Lucas, who took forever to bring the orders out. Nice guy, but kept ignoring me and instead was taking only the men's orders at the table, not mine or my girlfriends. I felt very off with that. That's very rude. Also, place is very small and got packed. But we were one of the very first tables to be seated, I did not like the fact he would only order one roll at a time to be brought out, everything took very long time. One by one and we had a very big group. There is no variety on the menu so if your even looking for a basic spicy tuna roll this place does not have it. They specialize in creme cheese and lot of sweet sushi like Nutella sushi and etc. for someone who loves sushi this place was not even close for 3 stars. However it's very clean, cute place for a buffet. Oh number one thing I did not like, if you order food and perhaps you leave 3 pieces on your plate, they will charge, even though it was $2 it's still money! Not my fault I really didn't like their sushi... I was forced to eat it basically. Also if you come with a party of 6people, even though everyone is paying for their own couple, which were 3 of us, you get charged 20% tip automatically. And like I said, the waiter was rude so I don't think he deserved it. They do not have Asian sauces, which I feel is what makes sushi sushi. They only have eel sauce... now for the following day, I had a major headache and stomach pains that would not go away. I honestly can only think of one thing it could be, the powder buffet places sprinkle in to their rice or food to make you full faster so you don't over consume. I eat usually very very healthy. Their sushi seemed very fresh. So I don't think it was a matter of anything being bad, but because one of the restaurants in Miami that was Brazilian got coded for sprinkling same powder, I think it should be checked upon. It was the worst headache of my life and I didn't even drink alcohol. Anyways, I'm only writing this review because I feel it is very important to write an honest opinion. And I really wanted to love this place it's so close to home. But unfortunately I did not...neither did anyone at the table except the Brazilian couple that with us. This place IMO dosent deserve even 2 stars for the price you pay, and the amount they give you and the headache you have the next day. But I'm being generous because surprisingly they don't have an account on Yelp yet. So I don't want to make them loose business because like I said, if your Brazilian you will find this place 5 stars. But Brazilian places do not specialize in sushi. read more
