I was getting late out of work today and not wanting to fuss around, decided to take out Sushi at good Ole Yakahoma. BUT THEN, I found out that they were closed on Mondays ... Scrambling around to find another place close by, I decided to drive to A&A sushi and give them a try! Going, there wasn't any tables and only a window for takeout. There were a few people ordering front of me which is always a nice sign. Tonight, I ordered 1x rainbow roll, 1x spicy tuna tartar roll, and 1x ginger salad. Moving on with my review ... I didn't think this would happen, but A&A reset the standard for sushi takeout, as it was AWESOME! The rolls held together nicely and had fresh fish. That spicy tuna tartar roll (which would've been $20+ elsewhere) EXPLODED with flavor!! The ginger salad wasn't skimpy on dressing and was great as well. Moreover, everything altogether was roughly $30 which for the quantity and size was unreal. Overall, I really enjoyed this meal and am looking forward to coming back. Was in the area running errands and decided to give this place a go on a whim. Placed an order online and was not sure if I made the right choice when I pulled up. The store is in a little shopping center and was basically like a sketchy bank window. There was a sign that said call to order. I already ordered so I tried to knock on the door/window. No one came so I called the number and said I was here to pick up. A lady came and gave me my order through the window. I got the any two roll for 11.95 with salad. Chose the salon avocado and JB roll. I was immediately impressed with the packaging. Side salad was fresh with delicious gingery dressing on the side. The rolls were simple but amazing. The amount of fish they put inside was remarkable. The weight of my tray with the two rolls was hefty!! I wish this shop was closer to home because I'd definitely be a regular. Ordered for company lunch and it didn't disappoint at all: we ordered the 6 roll tray and had shrimp tempura, jb (slamon) tempura, California roll, and spicy tuna along with a side of Tuna pizza. The tray was more than enough to feed the staff of 4, the tuna pizza was so good. Prices were great. Definitely will be ordering from here again. read more

Starting out my 2025 Yelp experience looking for new places to try. My search led my daughter and I to A&A Sushi for an after school snack. Asian cuisine and particularly sushi is definitely our favorite, so we were excited to check the place out. First things first, this is a take out only spot. We ordered and then drove up to the front door, which is covered in plexiglass. There's an apparently non functional speaker where you can communicate with them (nobody was visible or responded to us) and a little hatch where you get the goods, like so many delis and take out places in my hometown of NYC. Honestly, this is the first place I've ever seen in Boca have a setup like this. It would be nice to be able to walk in to get the order and not wait outside the plexiglass like a animal. But I guess it works for them. Anyway, we finally got the food after a 7 or 8 minute wait. Everything was pretty good, we tried some rolls, the chicken gyoza and the miso soup. Everything was very tasty and we both agreed that we'd likely come back again. Overall 4 stars. I look forward to checking out more of the menu! read more

A & A Sushi is a very special gem. It was recommended by a good friend & I highly recommend them when you are looking for fresh, delicious sushi. They are a take-out. Very distinguished in that you order & pick up at the window. No inside entering or seating. I was leary at first with not being able to go in & at least check out the cleanliness (especially it being sushi), but have gotten over that hump. I picked up sushi the other day while it was dark out & was able to see in as the sushi chefs were hard at work & was pleasantly pleased. The staff (maybe family, not sure) are soooo nice & pleasing. And did I mention that the price is right!! They have a lunch special M-F until 2:30, 2 rolls (they have a great list) & miso soup or salad for $11.95. Personally, I once ordered the salad & was disappointed (basically just lettuce), however, I have NEVER been disappointed with anything else. They have a pint size Lobster & Shrimp soup for $7.00 that I love, love, love. And a roll called Crazy Tuna Mango roll that is my all time favorite of any sushi I've ever had (and I've been eating sushi religiously for 56 years. It's called CRAZY TUNA MANGO ROLL. Also, their Scallop Volcano roll is delish, as well as their Spicy Tuna Tartare roll (yummy). Their Happy Family roll is next on the list to try (also sounds yummy). Last, but not least, the Tuna Pizza would be a wise try. Also, a favorite. Often I order around $40 of sushi, just for me & I have no qualms about spending that once a week here at A & A Sushi. But, I also have their Lunch special at least once a week & add an additional favorite roll. I often order a side of kimchi sauce (which, I wish they didn't charge for, but understand with prices for food being so out of control). Let me just start off by saying: I am not the one to do reviews. But this establishment deserves one. If you want delicious sushi, you come here. Every roll is made consistently and has never once dropped in quality. I've had to limit myself and use this place as a "treat" because I come close to ordering it more than I should in a month. Can you dine in? No. But, who cares? That doesn't matter, it's the food and service that matters. Owners/staff is always respectful and takes great care of the food they make and provide. The day I move too far away from this establishment is the day I never eat sushi again. Well done A&A Sushi. You deserve everything and more. read more

I tried the Sashimi Dinner, served with miso soup , a full pint container and 18 pieces sashimi & seaweed salad. I didn't get any seaweed salad, they might have forgotten it. This was hands down the worst sushi experience of my life. Both my wife and I became very sick after attempting to eat this food. Severe stomach pain and diarrhea shortly after. We were stuck in the bathroom and had to throw the entire order away. The fish tasted extremely fishy in a bad way, not fresh at all. Nothing tasted clean or safe to eat. The ginger tasted chemical and artificial. The edamame was undercooked and unpleasant. Every single item was bad. There was not one redeeming part of the order. We literally trashed everything. Completely inedible. I am over 50 years old and I have never experienced sushi this bad in my life. You can walk into a basic supermarket and get better sushi than this. That is not an exaggeration. This is not about taste preference. This is about food quality and safety. Something was clearly wrong with the fish and it should never have been served. Do not waste a dollar here. If you are desperate for sushi, go to a grocery store instead. It will be safer and taste better. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

The best little sushi spot in Boca! It's a dive. Located on 441 north of SW 18th. Close to the Brazilian restaurant area. Parking is a little challenging and tight. It's all to go orders but cheap and fresh! They always have specials and an amazing deal on sushi trays. You get to choose a variety of 4 or 5. Well I'm just so shocked! I uber eats this for dinner, I never uber eats sushi but I was craving it & like I said I'm shocked. I was skeptical about the tuna pizza I thought that the rice would have been soggy by the time it got to me and it wasn't at all it was crunchy and delicious. Hidden gem for sushi. A&A Sushi is a takeout only spot in a tiny strip center. The food is delicious and fresh. The Lobster & Shrimp Wonton Soup and the Tuna Tartare were both great starters. I'm a regular customer of A&A Sushi. I have yet to have a negative experience ordering from here. They are strictly a take out only restaurant. A&A offers a good selection of sushi and other entrees/appetizers for very reasonable prices. It is difficult to find sushi for a low price that is of good quality. Here at A&A, you can find that! My favorite on the menu is their salmon nigiri, Tamago nigiri, seaweed salad, and birthday roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese, masago). They are always friendly on the phone with takeout orders and the online ordering platform always works well. You never have to wait too long for your food. I highly recommend A&A Sushi! Be sure to get there before they close though because they do close on the earlier side, especially during the week. read more

Update: We gave them another try and have been going for a while now. We did figure out the way to work the system so that we don't get trapped waiting or our food doesn't sit if it's ready earlier. We just order our food and set the time requested to be ready a hour late. It's worked for us and they'll call if it's done sooner sometimes. Sushi is good for the money. So I found a great sushi take out place. Only ordered delivery but everything has been great, the Spicy Tuna doesn't have that normal distinct flavor that includes that Spicy & Sweet but it's ok. I am very much blown away by this place. I kept seeing it on my Yelp and honestly it's not in a great area so I kept scrolling by but last night my husband actually wanted sushi and we weren't super hungry so I figured why not!? Ordered on and delivered by UberEats, got nervous about everyone saying the prep time is slow but got our food right on time. I gotta say I got a spicy tuna roll and miso soup and it was delicious. OK OK I'm not crazy ..... I'm just a bit unwell! The words of this song came to mind when I first saw reviews for A&A Sushi pop up on my old trusty YELP app as this is a small storefront take out location in a strip shopping center in South West Boca Raton not known for its "fine dining places" lol (actually there are some great little eating places here). I stopped by in the morning and picked up their menu which was extensive and very reasonably priced. I noticed the place was neat and clean and did not smell fishy! That evening we decided to get a take out order and we ordered their 6 roll special for $ 41 approx with 2 Soups which were deelish too for a total of $51! I must say all our rolls were very fresh tasty and plentiful and the 3 of us with very healthy appetites actually had some left over!! What a nice surprise this was right from the time we gave our order to the polite young lady to the time we picked it up! FELLOW YELPERS WE WILL DEFINITELY BE ORDERING OFTEN FROM HERE not because it's very reasonable but because the quality of their Sushi was excellent!! I've been hearing about A&A for a bit. Decided to try a couple rolls before ordering a party tray. I got the American dream roll and a cucumber roll. The cucumber roll was okay. American dream was pretty good. I would definitely try additional rolls. I used Uber Eats to get it delivered with no issues or delay. I would order more for a party. Is it the best sushi ever? No - but I'm sure a party tray with basic rolls would be good. I can't speak to their raw fish though and I would be curious if it's fresh. Hopefully so! read more

This place is AMAZING. 12/10. I ordered the 6 for $33. They gave me an extra shrimp tempura roll for free, so 7 rolls in total. The sushi is great quality and each one is big and loaded up with food. I was expecting small rolls but they went above and beyond. I also don't normally enjoy raw fish but their tuna and salmon was delicious.
