They had more than an adequate selection of sushi rolls. They had a dipping sauce that made the sushi delectable. I have lost a lot of weight and was very selective with how much I took until I ran across the boneless spare ribs. These are usually not available at other Chinese buffets during lunch time. I was surprised to see them. They were delicious. Our waitress kept our water glasses full and took out empty plates immediately. The service was outstanding. My friend enjoys lo mien. She said that Hibachi Buffet was her favorite. I saw pieces of cooked salmon and decided to try a piece. I am not a lover of cooked fish and was going outside my comfort zone. It was edible but I still am not a lover of cooked fish. Too bland for me. Their hot and sour soup was tasty. I returned to savor more boneless pork spare ribs. Restaurant layout is strange, you'll see it, if you go. Staff were pleasant, I guess. No smiles-taking care of business. Efficient, didn't have to wait at all. Appreciated my 20% tip, even though its serve-yourself. Thought I'd be generous. People are trying to make a living. The food was less than perfect; hence my two-star rating. The sour soup was great. The white fish was good-it was warm. The rest of the food in the buffet was mildly warm to cold (mostly cold), some-what bland, and basically unsatisfying. Piece of breaded chicken was like a shard of leather. That stayed on my plate, ugh. Although the food 'looks' appetizing, I left, well, unsatisfied and disappointed. I came here again today..... after many years....I can say one thing....I am glad I waited almost 3 years....because the experience was not stellar. At 1:30pm on a weekday, the place was not very busy..... I got some hibachi and it was decent. The hot bar food was hit or mis....the salmon and tilapia were so bad, I had to spit them out. They tasted like they were made from decayed meat...just horrible. The Japanese chicken and the chicken and broccoli were the best dishes. The sushi was not very tasty. Prefer dinner over lunch (although I do like the rice noodles which are only on the lunch menu). Not everything is great, but plenty dishes that are spot-on. All the shrimp dishes are wonderful as is their soups and dumplings, fish, and chicken with broccoli. Salad selection is good too. Very good value dollar wise. read more

this place used to be my go-to for Chinese buffet. the food was upgraded tremendously since it was sold several years ago. but something has happened this past year. don't know if it was sold again but the food is gone way downhill. they offer several kinds of chicken dishes where for the last 3 years, the chicken has been succulent and tender. now it is back to where it was before the sale where the chicken chewy and filled with ligaments. the soups were so salty I couldn't eat them. the vegetables were still good but apparently the woman who owns it confronts customers and demands that they tip, even though the service was minimal such as just putting a glass of water on the table. I wish people would send in their review more often but they don't seem to do so. I will not return. what a shame to see a business deteriorate. I will have to stick with takeout Chinese elsewhere. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Owner harassed and kicked us out over voluntary tipsI visited this Hibachi Buffet in Deerfield Beach today with my mother, and it was a deeply humiliating experience. Right at the entrance, the owner rudely and aggressively stopped us, yelling in Spanish "momento, momento" to force us to wait for a table due to a past issue with tips. The absolute worst part happened when I paid and was leaving: she aggressively demanded a tip again, and then yelled at me in English to get out and never come back. In Florida, tipping is 100% voluntary, especially in a buffet where service is minimal. It is completely unacceptable for a business owner to harass, yell at, and ban paying customers over voluntary tips. Do not waste a single dollar here; the treatment is awful and completely unprofessional. read more

This place is severely underrated for their quality and price. I've been here a few times over the past few weeks and have never been disappointed. The hot food, cold food , and sushi are a great value. Understand that this is not your high end sushi buffet, but for a $15 Friday night dinner you can't beat it. Most of the food is good. The hibachi grill cook is amazing at his job, every time I come in he always cooks my food perfectly and the way their meats are prepped allow it to remain juicy and tender. The sushi selection is nice, and its usually very quiet in the seating area... minus the occasional obnoxious baby or child which I cant do anything about but put an ear bud in to block the annoyance - cant say anything to parents in 2025 or you end up going viral for telling them how to parent In closing, I am a soup fanatic so with every visit to the buffet for another plate I always grab another bowl of Hot & Sour over white rice with some sprinkled scallions. This is every other Asian buffet you've ever been to since 1986, faux Asian decor, aqua walls and all. Absolutely standard fare, some of their sushi, namely their tuna seemed a bit tough, but nothing unsettling. If you're nearby it's just as bad or good as every other all you can eat place. The only particular praise I can give it, is that their ribs have an orange glaze to them which is a bit different than most places and enjoyable. read more

Upon entering we weren't really acknowledged by the young man behind one of the counters but once the sweet female server came up we felt more welcomed. We were quickly sat and asked what we would like to drink. Buffet had a great variety we made it in around 3pm so our lunch buffet options were not bad at all...dinner started at 3:30pm for like a $4 up-charge but we were extremely stuffed to even want to try..you could get a wider selection of what seemed like more seafood variety...they would place little white tabs in-front of the dinner buffet items so you would not be confused if you were in for lunch..all the servers seemed very sweet..Hibachi station was kept clean but the cook was not friendly at all..he seemed very distracted and irritated although he did cook our hibachi very well. I didn't eat sushi today but there seemed to be a nice selection of choices. They did have some desserts and ice-cream. Our (2 of us)total bill for lunch with tip was $32 and we got 2 fortune cookies! I would go back and maybe around dinner to try the other stuff. This place is ok. The food overall looked decently fresh, for a buffet of course. I got take out but I observed the entire offerings of the buffet. Next time I may have to dive in on that Egg Foo Young because it looked really good for an AYCE place. They have sushi here but honestly I don't recommend the raw fish part of sushi offerings at buffets. The dessert bar looked decent and basically this is just a quick bite to eat buffet if you're just looking for cheap food to eat and you're not overly concerned with high-quality at the moment. I'd like to start by saying the service was phenomenal. The ladies running around are on top of their game. You blink and your drink is refilled and your dirty plates gone. Wish I could speak as highly about the food itself. I tried a small sample of nearly everything and struggled to find one thing I wanted to go back for. It looks good during an initial walk through, but unfortunately it just tastes low quality. Not sure what I was expecting from an all you eat buffet, but I had a stomach full of regret walking out the door. Plenty of other people seemingly enjoying their meals so maybe it's worth a shot, but service alone isn't enough for me to return. Hello all I have been going off and on to this restaurant for months and I find the food respectable especially of My routine I have a large piece of salmon that tastes delicious and runs out fast because it's popular and I would probably pay around $25 in any other restaurant just for that then I have a piece of whitefish which is delicious I don't know what it is but it's right beside the salmon and then I have a tomato cilantro salad mix that is delicious I do prefer green beans which are very hard to get properly cooked I generally judge a Chinese restaurant on the quality of the green beans and most of the time they are hard and in edible and uncooked this is a persistent problem everywhere and this place on occasion does it well and more recently it's been well done There are some foods that after a few hours I imagine because it is a buffet that are not as fresh and dry up because of sitting there and not being Consumed I don't eat most of the deep fried stuff and the unhealthy stuff they do also have a chef that will cook up a meal for you but I don't like a lot of oils in my food so I generally don't do that. They also have sushi Which I sometimes eat for dessert and it's good the salmon and the shrimp are Excellent they a lot of things that are very nice I did like their pistachio ice cream it actually had some pistachio in it so to all the people Unhappy with the food are perhaps unhappy with themselves and you can never please them the food is decent . because the buffets on for was at 11 to 330 so at the end of the buffet things that have not been As fresh come early The service is decent we never had any issues we have been there quite a few times my wife is picky she likes the food and I see no problem with the service the ambience is like most buffets more like a fast food they do have tv screens and tables and seats I do prefer booths and privacy that way which they do not have. One of my many guilty pleasures is a good old Chinese buffet. Nothing makes me happier than finding a Chinese buffet that is not only tasty, but also clean. Sometimes it's a difficult task, but when you find it, keep it because it's definitely a gem. Hibachi Buffet in Deerfield could be there. It's close, but in some spots misses the mark. Okay, for I'm not even going to describe the place to you because it looks like every other Chinese joint out there, down to the animal zodiac placemat. I'm "year of the dog" if you're wondering. I had gone on a weekend after 3pm so you know in Chinese buffet language that means dinner, however, the dinner price was $7.99 so big score there. To me the major lacking point is the feeling of cleanliness. To be honest, it may be clean, but it gives the appearance of not being clean if that makes sense? Like when you go in you kind of think, "hm, is this wise?" but you still go in anyway because you are a gluten, and a gluten for punishment. The items on the buffet are of your typical Chinese buffet selection. They've got your rangoon, your ice cream, sweet and sour chicken, and it wouldn't be Hibachi buffet without, well, a hibachi grill! As per most buffets, not everything was hot. Mostly lukewarm items but still tasty, even if I wished there were a microwave nearby. Service was great. Constant refills of my tea and friendly staff. I'd go back for sure. Not my favorite. This place is ok for a low cost budget buffet. It's $6.99 (adult) and quite a bit less for children for the lunch buffet Monday through Friday. Its $7.49 with tax included. You get what you pay for so don't try to compare this place to a higher end buffet where the food looks scrumptious. The hostess and wait staff are conscientious and courteous. Its clean enough with typical buffet ambience. There are numerous sushi choices, Chinese American, salad bar, American comfort, dessert, and Hibachi Bar choices. The food is mediocre but you can find something to over fill your tummy. The sushi was decent. I did not get sick. The Chinese American food was mediocre at best. If your looking for takeout Chinese food your better off going to a Chinese takeout place. The American food and the Hibachi bar did not look appetizing. I had three plates of mediocre or slightly below average food. Also, a small plate of desserts. I will not be back since I did not enjoy the food. At the price level, its worth a try though .. I'm sure others and kids might love this place. At least you can enjoy not cooking and have fun sampling a number of different food choices. read more

Let's keep this place OUR SECRET. The food is healthy, tasty and plentiful. You could come here 3 times a week and not eat the same entries. Quick and friendly service, low price and nice atmosphere. I always start with a plate of assorted sushi, a cup of hotnsour soup with dim sum and a fried chicken wing and bbq rib, and go from there. Finish with a little flan and green tea ice cream. I never do and rarely see anyone actually Hibachi, there are so many other options. And they put a 10% discount in ValPak mailer, which will cover your beverage. It is very odd that I eat at a Chinese buffet to begin with, but the fact that I had dinner at one two weeks in a row is very strange. We were shopping in the Deerfield Mall plaza on a Friday evening. My niece wanted sushi, however, we didn't feel like driving to one of our go-to locations in the area because we still had some shopping to do in the plaza. The restaurant was maybe half full at 7:30 on a Friday evening. The buffet area is on the small side and was not crowded at all. If the restaurant was busier, it would have been a tight squeeze. There were maybe 15 different kinds of sushi, all labeled. Standard Chinese buffet fare and a hibachi area. The desserts were very limited, with two kinds of cake cut into tiny squares and some cookies, along with some fruit. Probably in an attempt to discourage food wasters, there are hand written signs plastered all over the restaurant advising patrons that they will be charged by the pound for uneaten food. For two adults and a child under 10 the bill was $27.00. This restaurant served it's purpose for us at the time, however I would not be in a rush to return. read more

They did a great job with keeping the place up to code with covid and the food was amazing to say the least. I enjoyed every bite I had. I will say it would be better if the food was guaranteed fresh however I don't know what goes on in the kitchen so it's not up to me what they do or what is happening. Who knows? They advertise they are vegetarian friendly. They are not. There's salad and dessert. They have lo mein and Mac & cheese. Only one vegetarian sushi was available and in very short supply. Today a group (25) of us had lunch at the restaurant. We all agree the selection was expansive from sushi, salad bar to hot items. Unfortunately the hot items weren't always hot nor rotated so they were kept fresh My wife and I had intestinal problems (Montezuma's Revenge) within an hour of eating. I went with a friend Saturday to have lunch at this restaurant. We were having a "girls" day out. We had shopped in this strip mall, had our nails done. An enjoyable time until lunch... My friend has a 4 pound miniature Yorkie that is a true service dog with all required training and paperwork. This restaurant refused service because of her dog which I believe is against the law. They totally ruined our day out. I think everyone should just boycott this establishment. read more
