I'm not sure if it was because she was dining it . I ordered almost 60$ of food . My first complaint was that they were unable to swap out chicken chop Suey instead of chow mein ? Really it was lacking flavor & small amount of chicken . The egg rolls were super tiny - I then ordered Shrimp Pad Thai not many shrimp & not like NY Authentic Pad Thai . Definitely disappointed. I paid cash / they offer free items I only wanted the Crab Rangoon instead of General Tso chicken they gave me 4 instead of an entire order of 8 ! I've been picking up from this place for a while, but there was a distinct difference this year. They changed their egg rolls and not for the best. They may have changed their fried rice as well, but not for the best either. HOWEVER, their spare ribs were the BEST I EVER HAD ANYWHERE. This one is pretty easy to sum up..."Its not bad". It the perfect example of a 3-star restaurant. It gets the job done but doesn't exactly make you feel like it was money well spent. I ordered extra spicy chicken Lomein (which wAsn'tvery spicy), extra spicy Szechuan Beef (which wasn't very spicy) and crab Rangoon. I also got a free side of fried wontons which honestly tasted terrible. The crab rangoon was really good but everything else was just blah. Would I order from here again? Probably not...would I recommend it? Probably not. Would I tell people not to try it out for themselves? We have ordered here a few times, but this time was not good. The soup was fair, the cashew chicken, had soggy cashews, and the chicken had zero flavor. The pork fried rice had no pork in it. To top it off, they left out my wife's entree, pork lo mein. She was going to call to complain, and pick up what they left out, so I said sure, if you like spit in your food. Sometimes the day after partying hard I like to give my tummy a break from heavy drinks and food and instead get something light and healthy. I was in the area and found this little gem. I quickly read some reviews which for the most part were good. And then when I saw they served miso soup, it was perfect for my needs. I love miso soup for all the nutritional value it offers and it's light and full of flavor. I placed an order and left myself open to the experience. Not everyone's miso soup is equal and I've had some experiences that I would care not to repeat. The restaurant is small with a few tables if you decide to dine-in. It's not the most romantic or exceptionally decorated place but the vibe is relaxed and the owners are friendly, inviting and helpful. Your experience would be a pleasant one. The soup was delicious! There was a good amount of seaweed and little chunks of tofu. Some miso soups are so scarce where those ingredients are concerned, not this one. This place is under new management so I decided to give it another try. Let me tell you I'm glad I did. The food was very good. I ordered the sweet and sour soup, veggie low mein and veggie egg foo young. The brown gray for the patties was spot on. The soup was so good I'm stopping by today for another and the low mein reminded me of the stuff I got back in Philly... Very tasty! If you tried them in the past and wasn't impressed give them another try. I placed another order today... Online.... The chicken and mushrooms, shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour soup. I've lived in the area for many years I've seen this place but never tried it. I have to say it's okay not really good not really bad. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combination a large amount of chicken again it was flavorful my bad the fried rice had that burnt taste. That is often in Chinese restaurants. It's been sitting around too long and they reheat it the egg roll was small and frozen I didn't care for it at all. I'm not a real fan of egg drop soup so I really can't be fair I had a few bites of it didn't care for it I don't know you might try the place perhaps a more reasonable for lunch. Theres no outstanding chinese in Deerfield Beach. Yet Wok N Roll is the best chinese that there is in Deerfield Beach. This Wok N Roll is under new ownership since 2020. The pre-2020 Wok'N' Roll was absolutely terrible, and the reviews for that place are justified. But don't let that persuade you from ordering from the new Wok N Roll. It is now quite good. I order from this place often. They are always very friendly to deal with. They keep their place plenty clean. Their prices are reasonably priced, their portions are generous and the quality of the food is high. Their food is always fresh. Taste is great. Not exceptional, but great. They delivered an order once without the egg rolls, so i called them on it and they sent someone back with the egg rolls right away. ++ Their website doesn't have the option to add requests like 'No onions'. So, have to call in mostly. I should give them one star off for that, and i would if there was a better option in Deerfield Beach. This place is downright disgusting. After ordering sushi I observed the attendant making it with only one glove on which already turned me off but I decided to let it go against my better judgement. We got our share last night of some very good Chinese food!!!! We have tried every local place around in Deerfield and Boca for the past 5/6 years living in So Flo. This place is our new favorite hands down. We started with the Boneless BBQ Spare Ribs and Fried Dumplings. Both were amazing and great flavor and taste. I ordered the Deerfield Beach sushi roll while at work. I started eating on my lunch break when I realized something tasted weird. I found 2 different bugs (one was a gnat, the other looked to be a maggot or possibly caterpillar) in the rice of my sushi. I called to inform them of this and I spoke with the owner, who was very curt and didn't care about the quality of their food, she immediately told me "No refund" and hung up. The food is good but the customer service is lacking. I've ordered here a few times and never had a problem with my food. The last time I ordered I got my usual which is sweet and sour chicken with fantail shrimp. I will never order the fantail shrimp from here again. It's a bunch of breading that has a consistancy of corn bread. Otherwise the rest of my food was good. They have good spring rolls and wonton soup. The dumplings in the wonton soup are huge. I can't comment on sushi as I don't eat raw fish- (just raw Chicken lol). Yes- they speak Horrible Engrish! This venue has terrible over the phone service and they try to make you buy more than you want. They over charge for delivery and do not help or make exceptions for their returning customers. Just ordered delivery tonight. Never had issues before. But tonight I ordered online. The menu online lies to the customers. We ordered 2 dinner combos and online it says they come with rice, egg rolls, and soup. Ah how disappointed we were when we did not get any egg rolls. According to the manager online you get what you order, well they were only filed for rice choice and egg roll or soup. We chose soup as the menu says it comes with egg rolls already. When we called, they argued with us saying that's what we order and if we called in we would've gotten the egg rolls...really, why are you offering your customers the option to order online and not give them what you have promised them in the online menu. I am so disappointed, and I know it is only couple of egg rolls, but I felt lied to and cheated. Also, make sure you ask for chop sticks, because for some unknown reason a Chinese restaurant will not bring you any, oh and I should mention the lack of any utensils or such.
