I needed a large order of Kimchi and uber eats didn't have kimchi as a side on The menu, so I drove down, put my order in and enjoyed an ice cold beer while I waited for my food. Great visit. Excellent food, better customer service. Get an order in soon.

This is one of our favorite Korean food restaurants. The food is delicious, service is fast, and never disappoints. We have our favorites, beef bulgogi bibimbap - a popular Korean dish meaning "mixed rice." We opt for the stone bowl where the rice crisps at the bottom. The bowl has white rice topped with various seasoned, sautéed vegetables, a fried egg, and marinated meat or tofu, all mixed together in a harmony with a spicy chili paste called gochujang. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We also love the Kimchi fries. I consider myself a French fry connoisseur, and these are tops! Other dishes are really good, too. We've had scallion pancakes, dumplings, tofu with kimchi. All delicious. There are outside tables with table side BBQ. One of these days we'll try that. Korean beer is available along with sugary Korean soda options. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Reasonable prices. Nice size menu with vegan options, too. Parking available at the lot behind the restaurant. They also do a brisk takeout business.

Have been here twice recently and we were extremely happy! The spicy pork (not spicy) was excellent and the bulgogi was very good as well. The spicy pork hands down is definitely the favorite. Service the first time was excellent, the second time we were there the waitress a seemed like she really didn't want to work, even though we were the only customers eating at that time. Food was excellent so we will be back!

Tacowa (Boca Raton, Palmetto Park Road near Mizner), Opened 2018. Time to cross this one off the list. Cute little Korean spot -- no lunch specials, but some all-day options that work for mid-day eats, like Korean tacos (an LA import) and rice/greens bowls. Rachel tried two tacos: *Spicy Pork - solid flavor. *Yangyum Chicken - fried chunks in a sweet/"spicy" gochujang glaze. Not really spicy, more sweet-leaning. I went for the Spicy Pork Red Bowl (pork bulgogi over greens + rice). It's described on the menu with a sriracha "yum yum" mayo on top -- I wasn't paying attention, so that's on me. I really don't like that sauce, so I asked them to remake it without, which they did without hesitation. Just a heads-up for others who might feel the same way. Banchan spread was a nice surprise: fish cakes, cucumber kimchi, napa kimchi, spicy horseradish noodle salad, bean sprouts, and marinated onions. Verdict: good first run. Will be back to explore more of the menu.

A fun korean restaurant! Felt more commercial than a mom and pop place but it was nice and trendy! Good amount of inside and outside seating. They played kpop music at a decent volume. I don't like that genre of music so i was quite content. Service was quick! Fries came out first and were super delish. Crisp fries. Not so much bulgogi but i always want a lot of meat. i really enjoyed this take on kimchi fries ! The fresh tasting mango sauce was super awesome ! Good amount of kimchi for sure. We cleared the bowl. You do have to ask for bonchan (side dishes) but we were brought out several dishes! Fish cake, bean sprouts, kimchi, kimchi zucchini, and pickled onions. I got some soup! Bubbling ! Such a nice smoky flavor and the textures of the tofu and vegetables were quite nice! Served with a bowl of rice of course. Definitely a nice pit stop on the way home.

First experience with Korean food, and I will definitely choose this place more often. Absolutely delicious food, good prices, and pretty cozy.

Came here on July 4th and the food was amazing! My favorite was the seafood pancake. Such crispy texture complemented by the moist pieces of scallion, shrimp, and squid. There was only 1 server this day, but he was awesome and would preemptively see to our needs before we even knew we needed it (extra utensils, frequent water fill ups, extra napkins, etc.) This place is small and quaint, but the flavors of the food are BIG! Will come again.

One of my favorite things about this restaurant is their consistency. My #1 pick is their bibimbap bulgogi bowl. Comes with all the delicious sides like kimchi, various pickle veggies. My friend tried the hot dog with potato but she didn't like it. She did enjoy her pork toco though. Clean & unfussy, I highly recommend this family owned restaurant for lunch. Remember they're closed on Wednesdays.

I got the Galbi bimimbap on a stone bowl. It came out extremely hot, the stone bowl allowed the rice to get extremely crispy. The beef was flavorful but two of the three short rib were very chewy. The vegetables and eggs were seasoned well. Together the entire dish was very balanced and flavorful. Staff was friendly. The dish costed $20 plus $2 for the stone pot. Overall a good experience here and not super expensive considering the area. Food: 7.7 Staff/service: 7.5 Value: 7 Overall: 7.5/10

Enjoyed the kimchi pancake. Will definitely try the scallion next time bulgogi and chicken barbecue we're both very good. It was challenging to keep the pilot light lit on a windy night. Good option for Korean barbecue in Boca

I ordered the Tomato Cream Gnocchi and my boyfriend had the Mediterranean Combo. No exaggeration but this was the best gnocchi I've ever had. The dish changed my view on gnocchi and I'm now a converted fan. The texture was pillow soft with a bit of spring. The magic of this dish is how simple yet delicious it is. I loved a simple dish done well. The Mediterranean combo was a special of the night and it came with prawns, branzino, fried anchovies, and a salad. The combo was also just as goods. The seasoning was yet again, simple but delicious. The prawns were succulent, fish was high quality, and the fried anchovies surprised me. I loved all the proteins. I also tried the squid ink pasta and the seafood linguini. Both were good but the squid ink pasta was unique. I can't put my finger on the flavor but I liked it. Service was incredible and the chef was kind. He came out to talk to us and explained some of the dishes. The restaurant is homey and cozy. I felt like I was in Sicily. Overall, I highly recommend Savia. I can't wait to come back and try more.

They prefaced the meal with saying service can be slow, but will be worth the wait. Boy were they right. My half-Sicilian mother in law said the arancini are the best arancini she's ever had, and she goes back to Italy (mainland, albeit not Sicily) semi-frequently. But the experience itself, even with slow service; was amazing. It's intimate, they don't rush you, and you can tell they love their regulars. We started with the crab and corn chowder, which was unfortunately just "meh" at best. About 75% of it remained in the bowl. The server noticed and asked if something was wrong, and we were honest that it wasn't great. Despite that, it remained on the bill, which felt disappointing given how little of it was eaten, but we said nothing. The main courses were actually quite good, which was a positive and the highlight of the meal. After dinner we moved to the bar to finish the evening. We ordered rye Old Fashioneds and were served what was essentially warm bourbon poured over a large cube. When the bartender delivered the drinks he asked if we needed straws. I'm not quite sure where to begin with that interaction. The drink was nowhere near an Old Fashioned despite the upcharge to make it one, and the straw question only made the experience feel more awkward. The whole interaction came across as oddly dismissive toward two women ordering a classic whiskey cocktail. Lastly, while I understand perceptions can vary, the overall presentation at the front of the house was surprising for a Saturday evening. The hostess was wearing what appeared to be lace bike shorts (similar to Spanx shorts) with slide sandals. It left me a bit confused about the image the restaurant is trying to present. There are definitely positives here but the combination of rushed pacing, the bar experience, and the overall presentation left me hesitant about returning. If it matters to the establishment, we were patrons on on March 7th for our wedding anniversary dinner so we were anticipating a more upscale vibe overall and were quite underwhelmed.

We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay.
