The chicken bao bun appetizer definitely stole the show, such great textures and flavors! The edamame was a bit mushy and overdone. My husband enjoyed the chicken teriyaki. I ordered the chicken oyakodon, which sounded so exciting, but it ended up being disappointing. It lacked flavor, and the chicken wasn't crispy at all. The boba teas were great and came in cute packaging. The woman who took our order was very friendly, and the restaurant itself is a quaint little spot. We've had decent ramen here a few times in the past, which is why this review isn't one star. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was pretty off-putting. We walked in just wanting boba. The cashier immediately asked if we were doing dine-in or takeout, then told us they were out of ube. No problem. I glanced at the menu to see what else looked good and the cashier responded with "ok perfect," which already felt dismissive. When I started ordering a lavender drink, I was cut off mid-sentence and told they were out of lavender too. Then the cashier added, "it doesn't sell, why stock it if it doesn't sell." At that point we just said maybe another time and were sent off with "have a good night." Being out of items happens. That's not the issue. The issue was the attitude and the interruptions. It felt like ordering a drink was somehow an inconvenience. Also worth noting, prices here have gone up quite a bit compared to when we first started coming, which makes experiences like this even harder to overlook. read more

We went to try this ramen spot in Boca Raton and it completely exceeded our expectations. I'm a huge boba tea lover, so I started with the strawberry boba tea and the chicken gyoza both were so flavorful and so good. The service was quick, and it's a cute little spot right next to Mizner Park in a great location. My husband isn't the biggest ramen fans, so he ordered the poke bowl and I got a soup both were HUGE. He got tuna poke , and it came loaded with seaweed salad, edamame, crab, rice, and sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious and the ramen was packed with flavor especially the broth which isn't usually as good at some places. Back in South Florida for another weekend of football and this time, my parents and I visited Ramen Lab Eatery. I have not had this spot since I moved but was so excited to bring my family here for dinner. We came in during their happy hour time which ended at 7pm. We ordered their bao buns and spicy cauliflower from the happy hour menu. Also my dad had a craving for wings, so we ordered the KFC chicken wings. The chicken karaage bao buns were so juicy and tasty. The chicken was fried perfectly, the pickled veggies added a great amount of acidity to this savory dish. The cauliflower wasn't soggy and were coated perfected in the gochujang sauce. My dad enjoyed his wings and loved the gochujang sauce as well. The ramen comes out in huge and hearty portions. We all enjoyed our ramen and how thin the noodles were because it soaked up all of the flavor of the broth. The grilled chicken in my ramen was seasoned perfectly and so good. My dad loved his seafood ramen and like the contrast of the sweetness of the lemongrass broth with the chili oil. Also, I really like that you can customize your boba tea, which I did with my ube boba tea. For a $1 upcharge, I went with oat milk and it made the ube boba taste so creamy and delicious. By far, one of my favorite ube boba drinks. Parking may be tricky here since the lot is busy and there's so side parking as well. Don't let this small storefront fool you, as it has a lot of delicious flavors here. read more

Just ordered take out, the miso ramen was good, I had it with ground chicken. They had a special on pork katsu so ordered that to try and it went right in the trash! Solid lunch experience! Were staying at a hotel in the area and decided to look for something walking distance. They have great lunch deals where you can order a main, an appetizer, and a drink, all for a discounted price. I got the lunch salad with salmon, and I was quite pleased and surprised with the generous portions! The salad was also delicious, as it came with a yummy dressing, and the salmon itself was prepared with a super flavorful rub. Hubby ordered the tuna poke bowl with brown rice and enjoyed it. This tells me nothing in that kitchen is being checked or handled properly. If moldy cauliflower made it into my bowl, who knows what else was spoiled? I didn't bother digging around to find out. I won't give this ramen to my worst enemy, that would be disrespectful. It's not savory at all. It's a terrible excuse for ramen. I had better, so--so expensive little portions. I've been to so many ramen places, and this feels like random condiments put into water. When you visit Orlando, be sure to visit 24 Pho Hour. Located in Mizner park, super delicious! I got the chicken katsu don and loved the curry. It wasn't too salty but still flavorful. The chicken was pretty crispy too! It came with potatoes and radish mmmm. It's very similar to the chicken katsu app, so you don't need both but the app comes with mayo dip which is good. Also tried a few other things the kimchi friends yum yum yum! The sauces and kimchi combo were delicious on the crispy waffle fries. Ambiance is pretty causal, you order and pay first and then sit anywhere. The food is brought out as it's ready and there's a fountain for drinks. Space is a bit tight, tables inside are few. The boba balls lacked flavor, the "tiramisu" tasted like a slightly sweet milk coffee. The ramen and edamame came out at the same time. The edamame had a buttery taste with some furikake seasoning. The ramen broth was very savory and had just the right amount of saltiness. Noodles had a great texture and absorbed the broth very well. There was a generous portion of duck serve in the dish. In this instance because it was me and my friends first time there we grabbed a menu and took at seat at a table. They give you a number and you can sit outside at an open space which is nice. They have a few beers, some plum wine and sake and soju, and then bubble tea, too.
