Probably the nicest modern interior of any Sushi restaurant i the area. Great menu with some interesting items. If you sit at the sushi bar, there is a conveyer belt that loops around it. I tried the Sashimi Appetizer, assorted selection of 6 pieces of 3 different fish, very fresh and good. Also had the spicy tuna roll, tuna with spicy aioli, and the spicy hamachi roll, hamachi with spicy aioli. Both very Can't wait to return. read more

Very zen decor --all white-- and staff very accomodating. This restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall with a yogurt shop, pizza fast food, and a cleaners, so this elegant restaurant is somewhat incongruous. Expansive menu, including some items not regularly seen at a sushi restaurant. We tried several plates of sushi from the boats and also an excellent mushroom dish. So if you want high quality food in a relaxing venue, you should definitely try Sushi House! read more

New Sushi Restaurant on SW 18th street in Boca and it's a winner! Located in the old Howards shopping center, this restaurant is in the original Rise location. I believe it was also a couple of Thai places after that. The new owners totally gutted the place and it's beautiful. Cozy, yet chic and the perfect place for a nice dinner or to celebrate a special occasion. Started with the Seafood Salad. A nice selection of Tuna, Salmon and other raw fish with a nice spicy aioli. White Dragon Roll - Spicy Tuna, Avocado and topped with spicy Scallops -this roll was so fresh and one of the best I've ever had. The flavors mixed so nicely together. Volcano Roll - Spicy Tuna mixed with Avocado and the roll was topped with a baked crab mixture. If you sit at the sushi bar you will see the sushi boats float by. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients. The presentation is a work of art, meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. The husband-and-wife owners stopped by the table and they are so nice. The chef is also one of the owners and he is not only creative but extremely talented. The menu has more than just sushi. Celebrated my husband's birthday at Sushi House off of SW 18th St. the other night and it was awesome! The sushi was fresh and creative, the best we have had in the area. The restaurant is beautiful, they opened about 8 months ago. They have a sit down sushi bar that features some of the sushi chef's creations floating by in little boats for viewing and for the taking if you desire. We have taken out from there as well and it is just as amazing. I highly recommend Sushi House! read more

Exceptionally good sushi at reasonable prices. If they don't have it on the menu, please ask for it like I did and they will try to accommodate you. You can enjoy sushi two ways: sit at the bar and have the chef whip up some of his favourites as they float by or just sit at any of the tables and order through the menu. This place was impeccable, clean throughout and the service would embarrass higher end restaurants. The owners just like the rest of the staff are super friendly. It's a shame there isn't one of these in Miami. It's located in a corner of a small strip mall and you would probably never find out about it, but I'm glad I did and I'm hear to spread the news. Evidently, it's a relatively new establishment, but they certainly put out food as if they've been in business for a long time. We had the spicy seaweed salad, sashimi tacos, the crispy brussels sprouts and the volcano roll. Everything was absolutely delicious. This review has nothing to do with the food - it is entirely about basic human decency. On August 22 at approximately 6:30 p.m., I walked into Sushi House with my young son, who had a stomachache and urgently needed to use the restroom. The woman at the front refused to let him use it unless we purchased something. I understand having a customers-only restroom policy, but when a parent walks in with a young child in distress, I would expect compassion and common sense to take over. Instead, she was incredibly rude and confrontational. I had to purchase a miso soup that we did not want and ultimately left behind. As my son went to use the restroom, she yelled at him, "It better be clean in there." There was only one table of customers in the entire restaurant, so allowing a young child to use the restroom would have caused absolutely no disruption. I also witnessed her yelling at one of the servers, which only reinforced my impression of how she treated people. I run a business, and sometimes you simply have to use good judgment and do the right thing. I hope management speaks with the woman who was working that evening. Policies are important, but so are kindness, empathy and basic humanity. This experience was extremely disappointing. read more

Try this new restaurant that had grand opening eight weeks ago. It's in a small non-assuming shopping center that has a great yogurt store there that's been there forever so we decided to try it for dinner and then go have yoga. I must say the proprietor the woman at the front was lovely. The food was delicious. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. . Everything turned out a nice evening. I had the stirfry vegetables and . We also had the fried rice with chicken we had dumplings and we had the fried salmon a glass of wine. The restaurant is all white. It's very attractive and they have a place where you can sit in bar area a little boats go around. You can get your sushi looks like fun. We sat at a table. The restroom was extremely clean and white, which is always a good indication of the proprietors wanting people to enjoy their evening and if they have to go, there's a nice place to go to ha ha ha parking no problem with the shopping center lotso if you're in the mood for sushi or anything in that kind of food check the sushi house they said they had a place in Miami and now they're here in Boca.ck it out I think you're gonna enjoy imake reservations read more

Low quality dishes. Paid $40 for each dish and honestly would've tasted better if I had cooked my own steak at home. Also the restaurant was out of the only two types of sushi I came in for. How can you be out of sushi when you just opened your restaurant? Also surrounding area is extremely low quality, like the restaurants/shops nearby, so really ruins the 5 star vibes the restaurant attempts to give off. Only reason this gets 2 star and not 0 stars is because the interior was extremely nice, and the staff were extremely nice. We had the tuna tower which was delicious, perhaps a little less garlic aioli would have been preferred. Also had the White Dragon & the pink Dragon rolls both were excellent and filled with flavor. Did order the Philadelphia roll without cream cheese and was a bit disappointed with the amount of salmon in the roll. Overall a great experience.
