Very much over this location. Soda machine is consistently down which they do not tell you when you pay for a fountain beverage. Ice machine is down with no other ice options for them to provide, again, they do not tell you that when you purchase a fountain beverage. Order is never right, I was missing part of the meal and instead of telling me that they just gave me my food and said nothing like I wouldn't noticed. I asked them for it, they said they were "out", I asked them to check and magically they had more of that product; sheer laziness. The service is unbelievably SLOOOOOWWW. We have continuously tried to give this location chance after chance but it is beyond clear that the owners either straight up do not care or just aren't active in their business. I'm done. I've tried to give this place countless chances to get it right but they keep failing to deliver. It's not the food. I still consider firehouse to have a pretty solid menu selection and most things here are tasty. I've usually liked my meal... once I end up getting it... and when it's not wrong. The problem is the service. It's SLOOOOOOOOW. I've had some issues with service in the past being friendly and although they have gotten better, I still haven't seen any improvement on management trying to get your order out in a timely fashion. One time they finished my sandwich and didn't call my name for 10+ minutes until I had to ask them where my food was. Plus they constantly mess up even the simplest of orders. What gives!?! Firehouse! What happened to your service ? I have been going to Firehouse for years in Henderson, NV and visited this one ... WOW! No greeting ... 5 people behind the counter and not one person said "Welcome to Firehouse" .... I had to ask to order! I will also add there was not one other person in the restaurant at the time. Firehouse this is not your style! Then a team member rolled a dirty trash can while on his cell phone through the dining area!!! What the hell! That is simply nasty!!! The bag of food they handed me... brace yourself ~ it was a freaking greasy mess!!! Come on!!! Kudos to you for a clean restaurant (until the trash can came rolling through) clean food prep area and clean dining area! Good subs ~ not even close! They looked old, not fresh! Not bad! I've never eaten a sub but will stop by for a salad with chicken. Low in calories, it's a perfect lunch. I like the customizable ingredients and the overall freshness of the food. Sadly, not all the employees are equally attentive. Most are outstanding. However it's really aggravating to sit idly by and watch my salad being built by an inattentive employee chatting it up with her "girl" on the other end of her cell phone. I don't like complaining but am tired of spending $8.50 for an ill-prepared meal due to the fact the employee was paying more attention to the needs of her buddy. It would be nice to try to make eye contact with the person who is ultimately paying part of her hourly salary. Good employees are difficult to find these days, so the three+++ stars go to the lady/manager taking the orders. read more

Delicious as usual! However whether it's Atlanta or Boca, these places need help. The wait times are significantly longer than usual understanding that they're making my sandwich fresh to order. They truly need all hands on deck. When I walked in the tables were dirty and I really wanted to sit inside because it's too hot for me at the moment. The lovely lady behind the counter explained they've been really busy and I told her that I understand so I wipe the table down myself with hand sanitizer. At the end of my order I forgot that I wanted jalapeños added to my engineer. She kindly wrote it on the receipt however, the jalapeños never made it in the sandwich. They were too busy for me to even bother...Hopefully next time. again I wanna stress that I feel like everybody there was working as hard as they could. Incompetence runs rampant at this location. Janderi, our clerk, couldn't figure out how to work the cash register and had to restart the transaction more than once, while her screaming infant child was wrapped up in a blanket on the counter in the room just next to the register. I'm not confident that this would be considered sanitary by any health department inspector. Asked for two sandwiches to be placed on one order, she could t figure out how to do that. Had to ring up and pay for each sandwich on a separate transaction. Asked for our order to go and she repeated the "to go" part when asked each time she tried to ring in the order. Order came out "for here" anyway and had to be wrapped up. Ordered a steak and cheese with hot peppers, tomatoes and chopped pickle. Unwrapped the sandwich to discover she didn't put any of these toppings on it. All this stuff -- "to go", the toppings -- are all printed on the receipt she looked at while making the sub! It's a sub shop, so our expectations weren't really high, we had just hoped for basic proficiency but they still missed the mark. read more

Honestly. I really wanted to like this place. A lot of people highly recommend it. Not me. The place is always empty when I come in, wonder why? I guess fire house is known for its hot sub. The cheddar briskest. The briskest is low quality garbage and it's just okay at best. I tried a club sub and it was also just okay. What really irks me is..they advertise all their sandwiches come with special dill pickles. Every time I got a sandwhich from there...never got them. I asked the employee..how come I do not get pickles with my order? "Oh we had a pickle recall" well you didn't have pickles for a month. Never had this problem with jersey mikes or Publix. I think I'd eat subway over firehouse at least subways cheap. Firehouse paints lipstick on a pig. Avoid firehouse. It sux. Y'all owe me my pickles and a salt and vinegar chip! read more

I'm not usually a sandwich person, but I have not had a bad sandwich yet. Plenty of quality meat and fresh toppings on every sandwich. Great subs! Worst restaurant/company ever. I placed an order for pickup around 8:10pm after verifying online that they close at 9pm. When the order was placed it gave me a pick up date for tomorrow. I call the store and a woman picks up super saying they closed at 8pm because of the holiday. Today Wednesday 11/24 is not a holiday, the woman was very rude and after I told her to cancel my order and refund the money she hung up. If your store Is closed why would it allow you to place an order. Haven't been able to try this place because this is the 2nd time I order and there is a problem. Last time I placed an order and went to pick up and there were closed. Seems like they close whenever they want. Beware. I now need to fight to get a refund. read more

I have been to several different Firehouse Subs and enjoyed them. However, this one is worse than ANY sub shop you could go to. I have ordered at least 10 times trying to give them a chance to get better but to no avail. I would say only 50% of the time have they gotten the order correct. Supposed to come with a pickle but the pickle sometimes doesn't make it - that is the least of my complaints. Oh, do not expect it to look like the picture on the menu showing cheese. Now a Firehouse Steak & Cheese should have cheese on it, wouldn't you think? It says so in the description. Good luck finding it. I have talked to a person claiming to be the manager on several occasions and what I learned on my last order was that if you want the sandwich to look like their picture, then you need to order extra cheese and pay a small fee for it. This is with any sandwich you order that has provolone cheese. The Virginia Honey Ham listed on the menu under "hot" comes cold - if there were any cheese on there, one would be likely to see it since the sandwich was cold and it had onions when the order was placed with NO ONIONS. I actually could not believe that I was told to order and pay for extra cheese next time I want it to look like the picture.
