Shrimp Salad Plate with homemade strawberry muffin

Always a pleasant experience. Lovely, friendly staff. The food is fresh and homemade. Everything is delicious. Save room for one of the in house made desserts (especially the chocolate cake). Be sure to take a trip to the "big" bathroom to see the seasonal decor. The little bathroom is worth a peak too. Bring cash. No credits cards are accepted here. Indoor and outdoor seating. Each table outside is like it's own oasis. The only downside of eating outside is that because the restaurant is not that large there is usually a wait for a table and people tend to "hover" while they are waiting to be seated. Street parking can be tricky to find at times. Restaurant hours are 11-4 Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Tin muffin is our go to! The servers are the absolute best and are super sweet and helpful! The food is phenomenal and they are constantly switching specials into the mix which keeps things fresh. The location is also perfect to sit outdoors and indoors the vibes are always great. Super unique spot in Boca unlike any other. Two tips if you're looking to try. Make sure to bring cash as they are a cash only establishment.

Delicious food! Service a little haphazard but it's a quaint hole in the wall. Cash only so don't forget! Will be back. Closed Sundays.

What amazing treat just came back from my workout. I walked to the beach and on the way to the beach. I passed the Tin muffin cafe and I said I have to come back the staff the owner this place is filled with Love and you Feel like you went back in time and you feel like your grandpa or grandma made you breakfast and lunch. I just had a chicken salad sandwich. I actually had a half a tuna and a half of chicken salad sandwich And everything was five stars and then they surprise me with some beautiful dessert Brett thank you so much and thank you so much for your team and this place is the best.

Stopped here for a late lunch before going to Mizner Park for a bit of shopping. The place is very quaint. While they were busy with many waiting for a table, it was well worth it in a sunny and breezy day. They had some amazing specials and everything was delicious. I opted for the chicken salad salad which came with a pumpkin muffin. The pepper vinaigrette was amazing. Other items ordered were post pie with salad and chicken pecan quiche with salad and a turkey sandwich with pea soup. Everyone really enjoyed their choices. The quiche was a decent size and the side salads were nice and fresh ! We shared a slice of banana cake and it was really good the cake was moist and the frosting was creamy and the right amount of sweetness. Our server Jennifer was awesome. She was cheerful, fun and smiled! Thank you Jennifer for taking good care of us! The bathroom was worth the visit too. Elaborately decorated for Valentine's Day. I hear they do an amazing Easter theme, Unfortunately, I'll be back in Ohio and won't see. Will check back on Yelp to see if anyone posts the next themed bathroom. Great place to visit ! Please note. They only take cash or check !

Decided to treat myself and have a lunch break every now and again. Walked on over to the Tin Muffin after getting several recommendations to try it. Cute little place with a family owned charm and warmth to it. We sat on-site and enjoyed the beautiful day. The street traffic is not too loud considering it's along palmetto. We had: *Chicken Salad Sandwich which was a good serving of Chicken salad on fresh bread. *Chicken Pecan Quiche my boyfriend said was absolutely delicious. One of the most unique quiches he's ever had. *Chicken Pot Pie was delicious as well *Chocolate cake was beautifully layered between the icing and cake. Not too sweet TIP go around any holiday! They decorate the bathroom to a whole nother level! OMG I wish I took a photo of their Christmas bathroom

Would definitely come back, coffee was terrific with a hint of vanilla! I usually Love avocado toast but this version has an olive oil before and after taste. Not to my liking but the presentation, salad and fruit was delish!! Went with a friend, staff very friendly! Fun atmosphere for a lunch time experience with a friend in Boca!

    How is the parking?

There is limited parking. There is parking (narrow) on the side of the restaurant for about 4 cars one right behind each other. Otherwise, check out the street parking.

YES! YES! YES! YES AGAIN!…read more My boyfriend and I had date night last Saturday, and it was our first time dining here. The staff was really nice, the restaurant was super clean, and the ingredients were fresh. I had the spicy Taiwanese soup base. My boyfriend had the Coconut Tom Yum. We enjoyed a nice selection of different meats such as pork, lamb, and beef. Seafood options include shrimp, squid, and octopus. Quail eggs, frog legs (if you're into that :), and tofu. The conveyor belt was super fun because you could watch it as it went by and pick up whatever garnishes you wanted. Green onions, mushrooms, parsley, cilantro, cauliflower ... I could go on and on. We also had dessert. My favorite is the red bean and macha ice cream! Can't wait to go back! ***ALSO order the tea***

This place offers a set price for Hot pot and is buffets style as well as conveyor belt delivery for veggies; you just swipe what you want. You start by picking a soup of choice and then you gather the food you need, cook it yourself in the pot and there are instructions and available on the wall for cooking times. It's relatively straightforward. Be careful with how much you grab as they will charge you for any excessive leftovers. I got the tom kha and my fiance got the tom yum. He found his soup to be a little on the lemony side for his taste but I think that's just a preference not a reflection of the quality of the soup. I loved my coconutty tom kha. Our waiter showed us how to operate the dial and gave us information about cooking time recommendation. We ordered some hot tea and had a wonderful time. The buffet appeared to be clean and the food fresh and well kept. I tried a variety of meat as well as seafood. The shrimp had a little bit of a previously frozen kind of taste but the scallops were excellent. I think in the end I'm not a big fan of the red meat even though it cooks quickly and tastes fine I just think preference wise I more so enjoyed loading up on the vegetables and noodles. The best thing I had there was the gyoza, so freaking good, highly recommend. It is worth noting that my fiance love the meat, so the great thing about this place is the variety and how multiple people can sit down and enjoy what they like, together. Drop by!

I walked in at 7pm this past Sunday and there was a couple who walked in right before me and we were told that the booths were not clean and to wait in line ,so I agreed to wait. Another employee starts to clean the tables and the couple is called. She then says to me because you are just one we cannot give you a booth. Mind you, there were 3 empty booths when I walked in and two remaining. Why would you have me stand there and wait for something to be clean KNOWING you were going to ask me to sit elsewhere? I've been to MANY Vietnamese restaurants, over my lifetime and we / family, occasionally make the broth at home, as well. This process takes hours. I ordered 2 pho and they were supposed to be the COMBINATION pho and it was NOT. It was missing 2-3 different varieties of meats. We were very disappointed and considering how outrageous the total bill was. BTW... the spring rolls and egg rolls, did NOT include the dipping sauce. We had to pay extra for the sauce. TOTALLY ABSURD!!!! Never had to pay for the sauce at ANY of the other restaurants. How the hell are you supposed to consume the spring rolls and egg rolls without the sauce?!? It's always included with the appetizer!! ‍ My daughter recently went on a conference trip with her colleagues, to California. Now, that supposed to be an expensive state. The price of the pho there was almost half the price than this place!! Better tasting, as well!! So, PLEASE don't tell me because it's price inflation?!? I don't know if this business is suffering?? Indoors seemed to be more busy in the 90 degree heat, tho we were lucky with a table fully in the shade. Outdoors probably picks up more in the evenings. Delicious and light, great way to start the day properly. Farmer's Table has a solid and longstanding hype. I am Iong overdue in visiting for the first time. Perfect outing for special occasions.

The people at the table across from us came over to ask how our service was... so you know it…read morewasn't good! It started off slow. Our waiter was nice enough but took forever to come get our order. The food came out. He came by to check before we ate anything. Ok fine. We let him know we've come a few times in the past 3 months (about once per month) and the smoked salmon was good to split as it always comes with 2 pieces of bread (which they cut in half- so 4 halves, perfect to make 2 mini sandwiches with) This time it came with a piece of bread and a half (so 3 halves). I'm looking around for our server he's no where to be found. I finally spot him but he doesn't see me and goes into the back area near the bar to speak with another server. He then pokes his head out and I get his attention. I told him we needed another 1/2 a piece of bread. It took a bit but the manager came brought 2 pieces of toasted bread with butter. We thought that was nice, they gave us extra for the wait. The manager asked if everything was ok, we had the bread so yes it was fine nothing to say. We weren't sure why be was asking (also didn't know he was the manager at that time) We also got the omelette which was ok, not great. No complaints just nothing special, we wouldn't get that again. (Not this trip but last time we got their potatoes which were so good and a really good flat bread with figs so most of their other food is good) Then it takes a bit but he comes to clean our plates... and disappears again. A while later he has that check machine in his hand (I hate those honestly- becoming a restaurant standard but gives you no time to discuss anything with your party or figure out the tip) he asked if we needed anything I said no, thinking he was having us pay since we're not ordering anything else- but then he just walked away. The other table is getting rowdy and annoyed not seeing him either now. I see that table out of the corner of my eye getting annoyed with him. They're ready to go, as are we. We finally get the check and they charged us $4.50 for the bread. Confused I asked about that mistake. He then told us he sent his manager over to talk to us (you did?) and he'll send him over again. So now we just want to leave but are waiting for the manager. The man who delivered the bread comes over. Tells me it depends how thick it is. Sometimes it's 3 sometimes it's 4 pieces (referring to the individual halves of bread) that's why we were charged for a side of bread. He then tells me the server must not have understood. I was very clear and asked for a half a piece- letting him know we always order this. I didn't ask for 2 slices with butter- which they brought. The manager offers to knock a few bucks off but it's made in house so that's all he'll do. I'm not really happy I didn't want all that, I didn't order it and really if your server misunderstood why am I being charged? (Plus we're already frustrated waiting there, we've been ready to go for a while at this point) Meanwhile the table next to us gets up to talk to the manager who's busy "fixing" our check as they also just want to leave. They're clearly frustrated as well. Then the server comes by and asks us if everything was solved. Not really but sort of. I hear him go to the manager behind us ... and the manager says "I'm going to charge them something for it" Someone else from that other table comes over to complain to us about how this place is going downhill. They also used to really like it there- but now they're spending their whole afternoon in there. We have a lovely chat about how frustrating this experience has been before the server comes back with our revised check. So I went from coming here at least once a month (literally my open table shows me coming here 3 times since the middle of March) but I will not be returning anytime soon and I have a feeling neither will that other party (Also on their menu on their website the bread is only $4.25 so we were overcharged no matter how you look at it. But you won you charged us something!)
