Always forgets to give me the sauce for my teriyaki chicken. When I ask for it, they tell me it's in the bag but it isn't.

Receive incorrect orders every single time! Your fried rice and your customer service sucks! Ya'll need to hire asian employees because they actually know how to make rice! Do not door dash food from here, they can't tell the difference between strawberry and orange Fanta. Goodness gracious, whole bunch of airheads. read more

Never has vegetables fresh. Has been out of spring rolls for two weeks. Just a weak location

My first time in this Panda Express location Idk maybe they were trained to only give 3 small cuts of meat per bowl. Ordered bowl with fried rice and broccoli and beef. They serve with 3 small cuts of beef and Broccoli was 3 pcs as well, fried rice was like 3 spoons only. The bowl was only half full ‍ very stingy! Worst Panda Express!! read more

Ordered on doordash and couldn't be anymore disappointed. Ordered the bigger plate and they scattered the food all over in one takeout box then put one of the meat choices in a small container which was half full. The main container had way less than I have ever ordered from Panda Express and I would not recommend going to this location if you are ordering through doordash. Very upset about this. read more

The place is clean or usually clean. Since there are not that many options in Merced, I tend to go crave Panda and on my experience has been fine. I definitely enjoy coming here from time to time whenever I am craving Chinese food. Taste wise, the food is good so nothing exceptional but its definitely good. If you've had Panda before then the food will taste the same. I have noticed that customer service tends to be a little bad so it depends on who you encounter and helps you out. Some of the employees tend to have short temper so be aware and that is just something I have noticed as a by stander. Nevertheless, this place is good if you want Panda! read more

Incompetent/careless workers never get the full order right. Never expect to get everything you ordered/ asked for. Check every pickup order. I've had food poisoning at least once from there. They don't acknowledge you for pickup even if they're not busy. The fast-food "convenience" is not worth it; get your Chinese food fix elsewhere, even if its a longer wait. read more

So disappointed. I went through drive thru. I ordered a bigger plate and forgot to add a soda when I ordered so I tried ordering a soda at the window and they said they could not add it for me that they can't do that. And to add on I did not receive a bigger plate. Idk how clear I could have been. My food was not fresh it looked old like they scraped the bottom of the pan for it. When I worked at panda I was still able to add drinks at the window so I'm not sure why they would say no and to top it off the food was more than 30 minutes old not fresh whatsoever. read more

Awful! Orange chicken soggy broccoli beef broccoli under cooked beef salty not Edible. Rice and noodles bland and tasteless!

I was craving some panda we go and order a bowl with rice and teriyaki chicken we pay through the drive through, they give us our orders and i look at my bowl and i got the wrong rice. I ask the lady nicely "hey i think i got the wrong rice i want the other fried rice with eggs and vegetables" KORYNN M i believe thats her name thats what it shows on the receipt tells me "Well thats what you ordered" i tell her again what i wanted and if i can get it fixed plz she gives me a attitude and makes faces and says "im just going to give you a small box of rice" i told her can i just get it all fixed like in the bowl and she says No and closes her window. So this experience was very ugly dont plan on going back here customer service is Horrible! read more

So I ordered at the drive in cream cheese Rangoon at the drive thru with my meal. They informed me it would take an extra 5 minutes . I get home and find two burned ones and an egg roll. How shady can these people be? Panda express you need to hire courteous and honest people! This is ridiculous! read more

They got rid of the only food option I eat. Once they bring back the beyond my review will go up

Literally the worst Panda Express location I've ever been to! Never going here again. We saw that the drive through was super long... decided to order inside. I literally watched the drive through go in circles while I was waiting for over 40 minutes inside. Whoever did the drive though is a boss and the 5 people taking care of the people inside were garbage!! Never again! Maybe hire new employees! read more

Bad experience over all this time around, huge panda fan and love panda in general which makes it harder to leave a bad review! First was almost denied our food cause the ten had a minor tear in it (the whole bill was still intact) they said the safe doesn't accept bills with tears in it?? After the hassle and run around was excited to finally get my food and was disappointed to find the noodles full of onions to the point of more onions the noodles :( definitely check my plate before I drive off next time ! read more

So I asked for chicken teriyaki had to go back because they didn't give me any teriyaki sauce or a fork .. not even the cookie lol the girl at the drive through said just so you know you have to ask for these things by law .. I'm like I have to ask for the teriyaki sauce ? I ordered chicken teriyaki so that's me asking for teriyaki she said no you have to ask for the sauce if not you won't get it .. I get the fork but the sauce is being ordered once I order chicken TERIYAKI. Her name was sakiya G .. horrible customer service read more

After my many more visits since my last review, I am changing my horrible 1 star review due to my horrible online ordering experience to a 5 star experience. The drive through and walk-in experience has been accurate, fast, and high quality food. The experience has been consistent in all the visits and whatever the manager is doing with the team has been nothing short but amazing. I hope the experience continues in this direction for a long time. read more

They literally put three walnut shrimp in my tray I don't recommend some ppl are actually nice but they don't put a good enough of food at all. If you ask for a bit more they say they're gonna charge you and don't even put double the amount they out like half a spoon. read more

They are pushing Their Beyond orange chicken. I just have say it is beyond horrible! Taste like processed cardboard with very little sauce.

It's been a while since I've been to this Panda Express location. went today and it was disappointment. I went to drive thru, waited for at least 25-30mins. My kids love the chow mien there, so of course I always get it for them. Came home to find out, they mostly gave us big chunks for cut up cabbages... really?! I also got white rice and there were barley any. Usually my kids doesn't ask for more rice, but this time she did, and I had to tell her they didn't give us much rice. And I also found a bug in the bag. Will not be returning to this location Decided to go back there because my kids wanted panda. She told me what she wanted and then mention for me not to get chow mien, because last time they gave her mostly cabbage only. I ordered the kids meal w/chicken teriyaki and 2 chicken egg rolls. Got to the window and was told they're out of chicken egg rolls, I told her ok that's fine. Then she asked so do you still want it? Because we're out of them. (Me, confused... I just told her it's ok then. Was she still going to charge me if they didn't haven't it?) got my order, came home.... to find out they barley gave any chickens and a whole bunch of rice only. I don't know if they purposely do that because it's drive thru and know that the costumer would not drive back and let them know. Maybe the next time I should go inside and order to see if there's any difference. Very disappointed again. read more

Panda Express - Found a surprise in my bag - Chinese Near Me - Merced, California

Great service and fresh food!! I will definitely be back. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

I had the worst experience here. On Friday night we got two plates of orange chicken and chow main. When we got home I immediately noticed that my chicken was so hot and it had no flavor other than spicy hot. I asked the other person if theirs was hot too and they said that it was. It tasted as if someone put a bottle of chili flakes in it. I couldn't eat it. I called and spoke to someone, who took my name and said I could come in the next day for a refund. She told me the asst. manager would be in tomorrow at 12 and no one was there to give a refund at that time. Came in the next day at 12, spoke to someone at the register, who seemed to know who I was and she told me the assistant manager would be back in 10 minutes and she was the only one who could give me a refund. I waited until 12:30 and then approached someone named Ana who said she was the assistant or shift manager. I told her the story and she told me I could only get a refund if I came in the same day. I told her that the person who I talked to on the phone never said that I would have to come in the same day to get a refund. She would not give me a refund and tried to make it my fault because I didn't have the persons name I spoke to??? She was willing to replace the food so she wrote on my receipt to replace food at Panda in Atwater...I will see how this goes. These employees need to all get on the same page!! read more

Ordered from this location using Uber eats . I ordered chow mein Beef and broccoli also teriyaki chicken. When I got my food I opened and see very little chicken and even worse The beef and broccoli that was on my plate was only one piece of beef four pieces of broccoli talk about being shorted. I will not be ordering from this location again very dissatisfied. read more

First time to this location. I found them to be very quick friendly and they were wearing masks because of the virus. I complement them on doing this. In fact it's the only place I will go because they're wearing the mask. I stopped going to McDonald's or other fast food restaurants which I don't trust anyways but I have to at this time and because nobody was wearing masks or gloves.. All companies should give an extra dollarRaise if they are willing to wear the masks. I know it's optional but give them something extra to do it and your customer base will go up very easy calculation. I know I'll come back. Hopefully company's business won't be greedy and they'll give their workers an extra dollar to wear the masks per hour they'll make a lot more money anyways read more

The service was super fast and friendly. The food is warm enough and I was offered chili sauce to help with the heat. If I were taking food to go, this would have been a five star experience. Unfortunately, every single table in the establishment that did not have someone already seated, was dirty. Some were even filthy. Boo Panda Express. Booooooooo! read more

They used to put a variety of veggies in veggies side. The last few times it has only been cabbage and broccoli. Not a single piece of carrot, zucchini, beans, onion or anything else. I can see the veggies cut up in the window of the prepared veggies. Is is just laziness on the part of the cooks or are they just too cheap to make it right? Portions are small compared to other locations. Nothing but plain noodles in the chow mein. read more

Didn't get the plate I ordered correctly whatsoever. It was just one plate. Cmon guys hella simple.

Ok dont know if anyone else has noticed. The food is the same but pay attention to the container. It is smaller and it is definitely a lot thinner. The container is not deep so you are not getting as much as you did before. it is a subtle change and not too noticeable. When I am paying over eight dollars I want my moneys worth. I will not be spending my money there. And I notice this much have happened over covid because I had not been there since one yr ago read more

I usually have good experiences here but I find the staff lazy apparently. I went tonight & checked the hours before hand. Okay they said they close at 10:30. So I drive 15 min over there for a late night dinner after work & the lady tells me that they're getting ready to close & don't have any chow mein or fried rice! No entrees what so ever. No food for sale other than mixed veggies and orange chiThis was at 10:07pm. So either start closing after you actually close or change the time that you tell everyone you close at! -Update July 28th 2019- I tried this place again!! And whoever they had cooking today the meat was awful. Not like usual...What a waste of money!! I couldn't even stomach it. I got the string bean chicken and I couldn't finish it. Not like usual...need a refund!! read more

This place has gone down hill. Always a line. They don't know how to manage when it's busy. Always out of something so that means they don't watch inventory. Order a Panda Bowl Online in order to get in and out quickly. Arrived 5 minutes earlier than the pick up time. Went in to see if I could get my food anyway. First lady that assisted checked the computer, said there were no pending orders then walked away. She didn't even take time to help us. Stood there for a couple minutes waiting for another staff member. The one on break clocked back in, walked over and asked to look at my online confirmation. She checked then said, "you've been waiting this long for a bowl?". She chuckled, apologized for her fellow co-worker and provided us our food. read more

I don't usually review fast food joints, because well, you expect below average service. But this visit was just too much for me to pass up a review. I'm behind a woman ordering 4 bowls. She asks for white rice on all of them. They run out of rice after the 2nd bowl. Proceeds to take my order, I order 2. They are filled, sitting on the counter, uncovered. I'm standing behind the lady with 4 bowls, my food sits there while they refill the white rice. My patience is running thin. I ask for them to be covered. I have to wait. They are still fulfilling the ladies 2 additional bowls. Still waiting. Seriously, don't fulfill my order if I have to wait for the person in front, cash me out, or don't ask for my order. My food is sitting on your counter. Come on! I get to the register, ask if I want a drink, I say yes, then the cashier proceeds to tell me all the sodas they are out of. Well, never mind. I'll take water. Go over to the soda machine, no out of order signs on the sodas that are out. Isn't this basic management common sense!? Gets water, and gags on it. The worst, seriously, that water was disgusting. Management fails on several areas, this visit. Can't say I'll be back. read more

I went through the drive through around lunch time and expected to get my food quickly because there was a hardly a line. I was told to wait in the front for 5 minutes because they were out of orange chicken. After about 10 minutes, I received my food. They didn't put any chowmein on one of the plates and completely forgot to give me the extra sauce I asked for. read more

I came to panda in Merced and Jahzel R who was working drive thru at the time was really rude. She threw the food at us, was not even answering our questions and shut the window on while I was asking her for soy sauce she then opened the window again to hand us what we asked for and rolled her eyes at. I understand the frustration of working drive thru as I myself have worked in the customer service industry before but that is no way to talk to a customer.
