She said "the people behind you already started their order and we won't add on at the window." If this type of service is company policy, we won't be back. If it was the decision of a poorly trained employee, she needs to be counseled. A phone call to the restaurant got no answer. Either way, very poor customer service. read more

Incompetent/careless workers never get the full order right. Never expect to get everything you ordered/ asked for. Check every pickup order. I've had food poisoning at least once from there. They don't acknowledge you for pickup even if they're not busy. The fast-food "convenience" is not worth it; get your Chinese food fix elsewhere, even if its a longer wait. read more

So disappointed. I went through drive thru. I ordered a bigger plate and forgot to add a soda when I ordered so I tried ordering a soda at the window and they said they could not add it for me that they can't do that. And to add on I did not receive a bigger plate. Idk how clear I could have been. My food was not fresh it looked old like they scraped the bottom of the pan for it. The place is clean or usually clean. Since there are not that many options in Merced, I tend to go crave Panda and on my experience has been fine. I definitely enjoy coming here from time to time whenever I am craving Chinese food. Taste wise, the food is good so nothing exceptional but its definitely good. If you've had Panda before then the food will taste the same. I have noticed that customer service tends to be a little bad so it depends on who you encounter and helps you out. Some of the employees tend to have short temper so be aware and that is just something I have noticed as a by stander. Nevertheless, this place is good if you want Panda! read more

I was craving some panda we go and order a bowl with rice and teriyaki chicken we pay through the drive through, they give us our orders and i look at my bowl and i got the wrong rice. Bad experience over all this time around, huge panda fan and love panda in general which makes it harder to leave a bad review! First was almost denied our food cause the ten had a minor tear in it (the whole bill was still intact) they said the safe doesn't accept bills with tears in it?? It's been a while since I've been to this Panda Express location. went today and it was disappointment. I went to drive thru, waited for at least 25-30mins. My kids love the chow mien there, so of course I always get it for them. Came home to find out, they mostly gave us big chunks for cut up cabbages... really?! I also got white rice and there were barley any. Usually my kids doesn't ask for more rice, but this time she did, and I had to tell her they didn't give us much rice. And I also found a bug in the bag. Will not be returning to this location Decided to go back there because my kids wanted panda. She told me what she wanted and then mention for me not to get chow mien, because last time they gave her mostly cabbage only. I ordered the kids meal w/chicken teriyaki and 2 chicken egg rolls. Got to the window and was told they're out of chicken egg rolls, I told her ok that's fine. Then she asked so do you still want it? Because we're out of them. (Me, confused... I just told her it's ok then. Was she still going to charge me if they didn't haven't it?) got my order, came home.... to find out they barley gave any chickens and a whole bunch of rice only. I don't know if they purposely do that because it's drive thru and know that the costumer would not drive back and let them know. I had the worst experience here. On Friday night we got two plates of orange chicken and chow main. When we got home I immediately noticed that my chicken was so hot and it had no flavor other than spicy hot. I asked the other person if theirs was hot too and they said that it was. It tasted as if someone put a bottle of chili flakes in it. I couldn't eat it. I called and spoke to someone, who took my name and said I could come in the next day for a refund. She told me the asst. manager would be in tomorrow at 12 and no one was there to give a refund at that time. Came in the next day at 12, spoke to someone at the register, who seemed to know who I was and she told me the assistant manager would be back in 10 minutes and she was the only one who could give me a refund. I waited until 12:30 and then approached someone named Ana who said she was the assistant or shift manager. I told her the story and she told me I could only get a refund if I came in the same day. I told her that the person who I talked to on the phone never said that I would have to come in the same day to get a refund. She would not give me a refund and tried to make it my fault because I didn't have the persons name I spoke to??? She was willing to replace the food so she wrote on my receipt to replace food at Panda in Atwater...I will see how this goes. These employees need to all get on the same page!! read more

This place has gone down hill. Always a line. They don't know how to manage when it's busy. Always out of something so that means they don't watch inventory. And last 3 times I have gone they forget something or give me the wrong order. First time to this location. I found them to be very quick friendly and they were wearing masks because of the virus. I complement them on doing this. In fact it's the only place I will go because they're wearing the mask. I stopped going to McDonald's or other fast food restaurants which I don't trust anyways but I have to at this time and because nobody was wearing masks or gloves.. All companies should give an extra dollarRaise if they are willing to wear the masks. I know it's optional but give them something extra to do it and your customer base will go up very easy calculation. I know I'll come back. Hopefully company's business won't be greedy and they'll give their workers an extra dollar to wear the masks per hour they'll make a lot more money anyways read more

They used to put a variety of veggies in veggies side. The last few times it has only been cabbage and broccoli. Not a single piece of carrot, zucchini, beans, onion or anything else. She asks for white rice on all of them. They run out of rice after the 2nd bowl. Proceeds to take my order, I order 2. They are filled, sitting on the counter, uncovered.
