I had a really weird experience here, I wanted to add some ingredients to my bowl that I know are available because they are on the menu and they said no. Then I noticed I can't sit at the counter because it's only for employee rest breaks? Which was bizarre for many reasons I won't get into. Then I wanted some spicy mayo which I had to get up and charge $1.50 to my card for about one oz of mayonnaise. Every little decision was governed by bizarre rules and I probably won't go back. I've been going here for years. It wasn't until today that my California roll was made incorrectly. I've never had an issue. We got 2 rolls. One with fish eggs and one without. Ate one piece until I realized that both were made with eggs. I called, and the lady stated it didn't show up on her end. She stated to bring the roll and they would remake it at no charge. I brought the roll, and showed her the yelp receipt. She looked at the roll, and told me bc there was a piece missing. She couldn't refund me and that I would have to pay for another with no fish. It's okay the service is decent and the food is what is amazing. When one first enters they will see the menu up on tv screens. They will ask if you have a pick up or would like to dine in. Ask for a tip before even eating the food and ask you to sit on a table numbered. The food is so good, although for the SPICY MAYO, I had to pay $1.08 for it each. All other sauces are free and even though it was my first time, it was a super comfortable place to eat. The whole restaurant is clean and has a Japanese aesthetic, that is really appealing. The chicken teriyaki bowl was more than enough food, for a real good price. The salmon teriyaki was freshly grilled and food was HOT when served. It was really good and I was super impressed. Coming again and most likely will be a regular from now on.
