Dissatisfied and disappointed. Decided to try this place out since my usual is closed as the owners are on holiday. Not only was it expensive but it was over cooked, dry and flavorless. Ordered the dinner #3. Received only 2 prawns. Asked for crispy noodles in the chow mein (my mistake, I should have asked to clarify). The crab puffs had no flavor and were over fried. You can taste the slight burnt taste on the wonton. The foiled wrapped chicken lacked flavor and was over cooked. Meat was tough and chewy. Paid $40 and was absolutely not worth it. Will not be back.

Orange chicken

Orange chicken lunch meal 11 and some change with tax. If you know me, you have to know I'm a Chinese food snob. Had a friend tell me this was his spot. I was a little leery about it, but who knows. I'm not hear for ambiance. So I'm not going there. The food, well I'm not gonna bag on them. Let me just say not a fan and I can't go back. Wasn't happy with any of it except for the portion. Nice people though. Sorry.... Try them for yourself.

Hot and Sour Soup

Got seated immediately, not a large crowd but a few parties. Make sure to bring a jacket because it seemed like it was freezing inside. Order included: hot and sour soup, orange chicken, lunch special with sweet and sour chicken, lunch special with general chicken, lunch special with kung pao chicken, lunch special almond chicken, lunch special broccoli beef. Lunch specials came with the entree and chow mein (either regular noodles or could have them fried), wontons, and fried rice. Hot and Sour Soup: very hot when it came out (absolutely loved that!), spicy, and delicious Orange Chicken: nothing too fantastic about it, they had a great crisp to it which I haven't had from other Chinese food places, so I appreciated that. Sweet and Sour Chicken: nothing too fantastic. Wasn't that sweet or sour General Chicken: one of my favorites, had great flavor, had a similar taste to the orange chicken but with more flavor, and had a lot spicier to it (wasn't too spicy, definitely a milder spice flavor) Almond Chicken: nothing too fantastic, the chicken was cooked well and the sauce was good Broccoli Beef: great flavor, beef was cooked perfectly so it was nice and tender, and the sauce was delicious White rice was white rice, as good as you can expect it to be. Fried wontons: loved them! Had a great crunch with the addition of all the other food. Fried Rice: alright, not a big fan of fried rice in general, but were good. Chow Mein: absolutely fantastic! Loved it so much, could eat that as just a plain meal. Had great flavor and all the veggies were cut to a small perfect size to help add to the flavor. Definitely one of our favorite places to eat! Service was great, and our drinks didn't stay empty for long (it got busier as we were waiting so they did get empty at times, but nothing too bad considering the busyness of it.) Our waitress was great with making sure we didn't need anything and that we were happy. Can't wait to come here again! Also absolutely loved that they have the lazy susans on the table, and would fill the soup bowls on it and then turn it around so we could all get it.

Not bad at all. Just hate the parking lot. They give a lot of food. Service is good, food is good. Atmosphere ok.

I ordered the dumpling ramen and loved the flavor, even with no spice. The eggs were perfectly cooked. We order a no spice ramen with chicken for the kids with extra noodles and it was way too much but at least they have lunch tomorrow. Next time I'll just order extra noodles with my bowl. The bbq pork buns were delicious and we all loved they. If anything, i wish there was more. The pork dumplings were also good and super juicy inside. All in all, i like that you order at your table and that the menu had pictures. The staff was super nice and service was on point.

Water and to-go ware is self serve. The option to order directly from your table is pretty convenient. Our first dish, the ramen, arrived in 5-7 minutes. Soon after our noodles, then the beef roll and sesame balls. Every dish was freshly prepared and you could really tell. Served hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Not pictured is the tonkatsu ramen. Their seasoned egg was on point! Plus they give you whole egg sliced in half. No skimping! The broth was so flavorful and balanced. Not too salty either. Their single all gender restroom was well-stocked and clean. Other things I notice was that staff is pretty attentive. If the call button was pushed, they addressed the need immediately. After packing up our leftovers, we paid up front with Apple Pay. Overall, a great selection of my favorite eats. Typically I'd have to hit multiple spots to get this combination of items. At 88, you get a bit of Shanghai, Taiwan, and Japan in one convenient location.

When I got there, there were still some empty open tables, however, as I was leaving, it seems like they're just about all filled up. I got the Mr. milkman cocktail and it was pretty tasty, although I did notice how it appeared, as if there were a lot of wines and other beverages that they were out of. Even with my cocktail, they had to substitute the base with soda water, although it was still tasty. There was probably about 7 to 8 wines/sakes that were crossed out on the menu. Food came out fast, and the service was decent on that chefs end. I got the Korean Stone bowl dish, and It was pretty tasty, although fairly expensive for what it was... rice, veggies, and a little bit of beef, but I do like the concept of having a hot bowl that progressively warms up the rest of the food inside. I really do wish there was more meat inside for the price, I feel like only two or three bites had beef. One thing that I really noticed (and I think I noticed even more because I was sitting at the bar) was how servers and the bartenders spent a lot more time conversing with their friends (who were sitting at the bar) then checking in on some of the other people. Someone did approach me to put in my drink order, but I flagged down the server to put all my other food orders in. I don't think anybody came and asked how my meal was either. I do enjoy the overall ambience of the place, dim mood lighting, a minimalist esthetic, and a bar that really nicely displays some of their high end liquors.
