Fresh food when they open at 11. Lots of items to choose from, great variety. The prices are very reasonable.

I would give it a zero if I could. Absolutely awful, everything there was gross. Sushi was so nasty, restaurant is dirty, and everything just tasted old. Really wouldn't recommend this to anyone, I read a couple good reviews and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. But boy was I wrong. Flat out nasty, was not good at all. read more

You pay up front which I don't mind. For myself it was $18 and some change and that's with just water. My other friend who wanted with a soda paid more I can't recall probably like 24 or so. Food looks good. A good amount of options for actual food but mostly everything else looks like snacks and sweets and like sides. Salmon was dry but it's been sitting for a while I'm guessing. Sushi looks fresh and nice. Only thing my friend got one sushi that said it was definitely from yesterday and old. I believe her she's a sushi fanatic she knows her sushi. A good amount of staff so if you have any questions you can't miss one and I like how I'm seeing someone always cleaning tables and going around picking up trash or left overs. Good thing though a lot of sitting! Plenty of space to breathe and move around. Also theirs a little shop on the side too you can go in and buy stuff. read more

Again, my husband and sister and I ate here on the 10th and everything was delicious! Fresh and hot and so much selection. And the price is not bad either. The three of us (seniors) had dinner and drinks and it was $58.00. That is a great price in this day and age! I will be going back later this week taking my grand daughter this time. read more

This restaurant used to be THE Chinese buffet in town with a lot of options, a hibachi chef, and a solid salad bar. However, it's really since toned down in quality and popularity. I went yesterday for the first time in years and I found the food to be tasty but extremely oily. There were a lot of seafood options which I found myself gravitating towards most. Their selection of soups is pretty standard but the salad bar is very minimalist. At least there's a shrimp cocktail section. For dinner and weekends, it's about $16.99 per person, ~$2 for fountain drinks, $3.69 for a beer. Pretty standard pricing I think. The bussers are decent about getting your finished plates out of your way, depending on how crowded the restaurant is, but if you want a refill, you will need to wave them down for it. My cousins ordered some Pepsi's and unfortunately they were very flat without bubbles. We liked the ice cream bar, as I prefer scooped ice cream over soft serve. The fruit selection is also pretty standard. Would only come here once in a while. I honestly prefer Champion Grill but just a little bit more. The reality is that both buffets, which used to be great, are living in the shadows of their former glory. read more

Good food and good people and friendly and also place very clean good service and very nice always happy

Food is always good. But the TVs don't work. No music. The staff is really good. Even the nosy Mexican girl at the register. She will probably read this lol. Fix the dam TVs! If everyone that owns it can drive Tesla's, they can fix the dam TVs. Fix the TVs and shampoo the carpets I will give more stars! read more

Last 2 times I ate here, was fine. But I just ate there yesterday & ended up getting food poisoning. Hasn't been fun. Currently on my death bed. It would be your call if you want to eat there or not. read more

The food here is always warm and tasty! I've been here a few times with my husband and we enjoy the food and space of the restaurant. read more

I love majority of the food here. Not a lot of options though and so as sushi. I feel like they should put more options. The shop next door is cool. Never bought anything from there though. Owners seems nice and so as everyone's else. read more

The food was either cold or burnt, and the service was poor. I definitely will not be returning. Everything looks old and outdated. The habichi sushi station was closed to top it all off. read more

They gave us flat drinks , boss is rude, and they don't have a good food selection. when i mentioned the drinks were flat, The waiter said the boss was aware but did not want to fix it. read more

They received an unsatisfactory grade with 43 violation points! There is even a news article about it! No hand washing, raw food on top of cooked food, storing of food in the ice machine and the list goes on, be careful eating out here! read more

Bad service no refills cold food. To hot and humid inside. Gone down hill big time. Very rude service. Also beware the gift shop. Lady will follow you around convinced you're going to steal. She chased my daughter thinking she was going to steal from the moment we walked in. Bought a couple of items and left. Told her we'd have bought more if she hadn't been so rude. It was insane never had that happen such poor service. Just wow. read more

The food was good! It wasn't the best, but for merced standards of chinese food, it was good! the chow mein i especially liked as well as the chicken skewers. Overall, I would come again. read more

Food is cold stale and the waiter looked depressed never come to this place I would rather eat 7-11 food

We've been going here for almost 20 years and have seen changes along the way, just like everything else. Last night was awful.... Nothing tasted like it has in the past, from the soups to the vegetables to the seafood. Hot and sour soup was flavorless, green beans were covered in chili peppers, BBQ pork was inedible, salt and pepper shrimp was mushy and also flavorless. $40 for 2, we left very disappointed... read more

Visible and nice staff/service. The usual what you see in an asian buffet but good food. Tables are clean, however seats need a lot of tender lovin'. Scared we might be sink in or swallbwed anytime. hah. Tables spaciously placed, plenty of room to walk around. read more

I've been here twice. The first time was pretty decent on a weekday. The second time... not so much. It was on a weekend and the price was a lot more than the weekday. The quality was actually worse too. There was actually less selection compared to the weekday and they ran out of the ice cream. For the weekend price, I could have gone to a regular Chinese restaurant and order individually the family dishes and still came out cheaper. It was not worth it to me, in my opinion. The service was nice though both times. They were friendly and made sure the drinks were top off. They clean up the plates and check in on us. There isn't much of an ambiance, but it's a buffet so I wasn't expecting much. read more

Food is very good. I will return whenever I sm in town. It's a buffet do the service is irrelevant. read more

5/24/2021, approximately 1130 AM when they opened: Dine In: The lunch buffet for 2: total cost is $26.00 which is acceptable. I hydrated with ice water only. I'd been here a dozen times before COVID. Note: King crab legs only served for dinner time (after 2 or 3 PM). All buffet was fresh including the watermelon and other melons. I scarfed down many sushi. I didn't trust the Help-Yourself 5 gallon ice cream buckets area after I observed 2 children dip into it with a small spoon wearing no gloves. Everything else was good !!! read more

They are open for dine in!!! Buffets are finallly back. Even though theres a few minor issues I am still giving this a 5 star review. Youve completely satisfied my 1 year longing of buffet. All flavors you expect on a good buffet is here. Some meat becomes dry due to food staying longer under the heat lamps due to low volume of customers coming in... but other than that every thing is great. Paid around $15ish + $ drinks and tax. Theres a 1.50 extra for ice cream. read more

Straight to the point the food, awful! Service DEAD!! Ambiance it's really giving North Korea. It's absolutely dead inside, no music or ambiance music. Food is absolutely dry and has obviously been sitting there for a while. This is seriously the worst experience I've had at a restaurant. If I could give it 0 stars I most definitely would. The employees were working with their kids walking around, the guy at the from counter is just watching YouTube. This is NOT the place to come to. I told my friends that a location specially a restaurant has never made me depressed like it did here. read more

Few years ago place was great. Good food nice people and price was affordable. Took my wife yesterday and I will tell anyone who ask not to eat there. Food horrible not to mention way over priced. Over 40$ for 2 people. When the food is gross. Made us both sick for 2 days. Really gone down hill for sure. Oh cute lil lit up tree they added though. read more

The food is ok, not bad not great. It's the only Chinese buffet in town so it'll do. Service is good.

Don't come here!!! Me and my family where looking for a good place to stop to eat after our long trip in LA. It looks sketchy from the outside. Berly any people there. After we got or food some of the food was not appetizing. ALSO WHILE we were eating and this worker was talking about s*xual things right behind us while children were prestent!! read more

Food flavor is good. Good price for all you can eat. Self serve. Okay service. Ambiance is old and wall paper is peeling off in places.

Good food but customer service was not so good we were waiting more than 20 min to get our drink refilled and a worker was nowhere to be found I had to walk all the way to the entrance to look for someone and I found someone to refill our drinks but they were just on their phone the whole time that's why I couldn't find anyone because they were distracted in the phone instead of checking on everyone read more

This buffet restaurant had cold, unappetizing food, a lack of cleanliness, and an unpleasant odor. I cannot recommend it

I love eating here, plus they serve beer if the food is almost done, they are very quick to let the cooks know so they can refill it up again. read more

Food was good ! Very good variety of food for the price. The reason it has a one star is because of one specific worker ! Very disgusting coughing, spitting, and yacking all over their own work area! Wiping their nose with their hand and continuing to make food ! Although , they aren't touching the food with their hands , they still are contaminating the work area and the utensils and tools around them. Food was good for the price nonetheless and the decoration of the culture is beautiful. read more

The food was ok. Definitely no wow factor. The best thing I had was the broccoli. I took my kids for dinner expecting a lot more options then lunch time. And not much different. So I'm not sure why they charge more for dinner. Definitely not worth the money. And the sushi was not good. And the floor was very dirty. Food all over the floor. I'm not sure why they didn't sweep it up. I know they see it. I did. And my son didn't want to use the bathroom. He said it was disgusting in there. Probably not coming back again. read more

They food was good but they were not cleaning the resteraunt and the bathroom is discusting i could have been better

Don't let the building fool you. The building is old but the buffet is exceptional . I love Chinese food and this place didn't disappoint. Most buffets leave a bit to be desired so when I saw a 5 star rating I had to try as we were traveling through. It earned its rating! read more
