The wonton soup was delicious. They make homemade wontons for the soup. I also had the vegetable deluxe, and they were able to remove the garlic since it gives me heartburn. The broccoli, mushrooms, bok choy. and carrots in both the wonton soup, and vegetable deluxe were all fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband had the Kung Pao chicken and he enjoyed it. Got food here for the first time last night. Service was fine. They have big blown up menus for you to look at if you're taking out which we did. I got the broccoli beef meal and it was super tasty! The chow mein was really good as well wish I had more of it! Unfortunately the fried rice wasn't as good as the rest of my dish. I think it had too much soy sauce in it so it was really salty. Probably just a random occurrence. We didn't dine there so not much to say about the building itself. Just that it's decent and the table layout was functional. Ok upon walking in I noticed immediately they had no customers at 12:30. I felt like I needed to run the other direction. The nice lady said they are slow today. I sat down and immediately grabbed my phone to look for ratings for this place. That is in a very odd location off the freeway. Upon reading a few reviews I realize that it seemed to be pretty good. The lady that took my order she doesn't have cups so she gave us a Styrofoam cup and a can of soda. She also serve food in a to go box as they don't have plates I guess. So many things were alarming me about this place but I will say that their orange chicken is absolutely amazing and has not come up out of the same hole that I consumed it through. Which is a really good thing. The pricing of the plate of food is alarming as well because it's so inexpensive. It concerns me as the plate of orange chicken with rice and chow mein was only eight dollars. I do believe that this place is located in a very poor place as they say it's all about location, location, location, and this place is suffering because they're in a bad location. Their food is outstanding and needs to be brought to everyone's attention so they can raise their prices and start making some money. The place isclean unless you go to the back to use the restroom and then you make it a little scared because it walks you through the storage/kitchen and it smells like they spilled something and didn't quite clean it up very well. This is my place for a nice Chinese combo plate. My go to is the #1 garlic chicken with egg fried rice and chicken chow mein. They have all of the different combinations you want. Sweet and sour pork, come on, thats a nice plate too. You get a bunch of really good food for under $10. The lady who runs the front counter is the sweetest person you could meet. Always with a smile. Ample indoor seating and parking is no problem either. I have no idea who would choose Panda over China Caff. Get your plate here. The last time I had entered this establishment it's was Lee's Chinese Restaurant, I'm guessing about 40 years ago. Lees was fantastic‼ First off if you dine in your served in to go boxes, not a good sign. The fried rice has absolutely nothing except soy sauce. No onion, meat of any kind just straight up soy sauce. We were given plastic to dine with our to-go boxes although we dined in. That seemed hoodish but said fork did it's job. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it was not what I remembered (it's been decades since I've ordered it but) As I stated above the rice was bland at best. My first couple of bite of chicken were fair then it had a different taste, that was it for me. I finished my soy rice and called it a day. The love of my life ordered Beef Broccoli.. I'll just say she left the beef. It's not a place I'd return. I will say the establishment was spotless. read more

I ordered from this place and I have ordered the chow mein vegetable and it's never looked like this so I had to give it a two star just because if you're going to see vegetables you need to at least have four types of variety and it's not having it the lady that's been answering the phone there has acted like she doesn't really know what she has on the menu that's very disappointing well to all you vegetarian is out there if you order from here make sure you tell them to add more vegetables because they're not adding What they should be I'm originally from the bay and I know the China restaurants put different varieties and their vegetable delight very disappointing read more

Finally a place that I can keep getting chow fun at! Some of the restaurants I've ordered chow fun from lately just haven't been getting it right. At those places, the noodles are not separated and end up being chewy in the middle and don't seem all the way cooked. Here, the noodles may still be a little chunky but at least they're all cooked through. They could add more sauce/cooking liquid so it's less dry but either way I'm glad I found this place. My boyfriend was happy with the garlic chicken. I tried it and the sauce was super flavorful, but I noticed that the breading was very soggy. I'm not sure if our food was sitting in the container for long, but our drive home was about 5 minutes? Maybe I'll try venting the to-go container a little next time on my way home. While I grew up in Merced I no longer live there but when I return whether its to visit friends, family, or something else I usually stop by and grab some grub. The service here is great and friendly as well as the food is delicious. My usual go to is their chicken chow mein, orange chicken and egg rolls.
