Definitely much improved since the last time we were here (almost a year ago). We got the Crab Puff, Salt and Pepper Chicken wings, BBQ Pork, Chicken Chow Mein, General Tao, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Everything overall was delicious, aside from the BBQ Pork, which was over-cooked, chewy, and smothered with teriyaki sauce to hide the bland flavor of the pork. I would definitely recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Crab Puff, both were delectable and comparable to dishes served in Chinese joints in bigger cities. Service was wonderful and prompt. I had a delicious lunch special, honey walnut prawns, vegetable chow mein, and pork fried rice, with a cup of egg flower soup. Delicious! Service was prompt and friendly. For being a local spot, it's great. Fast service. The noodles are never greasy. Rice has always been cooked to perfection. Best food in town hands down. I've tried their pork fried rice, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, and hot chicken. All delicious, hot and fresh. Service is always spectacular. It included Sizzling Rice Soup (large portion and good), Chicken Salad, (very good, not to sweet), potstickers (very good, you can never get enough potstickers), steamed rice (good, moist), Broccoli Chicken (good amount of chicken) and Sweet and Sour Pork ( very good, not to crunchy). Situated in a deserted part of town surrounded by many empty properties, this restaurant doesn't look that appealing from the outside, and was empty of diners when we arrived around 6:45pm on a Thursday night. That was a little disconcerting, but oh boy were we glad we stayed. We had the family dinner for five and every dish was delicious. The broth for the Wanton soup was delicate and not overly salty. The fried dishes were light and crispy. The spicy dishes tasty and perfectly spiced for a group, and they had plenty of sauces to heat things up for those who wanted it. Portions were generous and the service was spot on, friendly and attentive but not rushed with the many dishes coming out at a good pace. Selfishly we enjoyed the emptiness of the place (they had two more tables and a few takeouts while we there) because it was quiet and comfortable for our group of five, but they really deserve to have a full restaurant. When they first opened I was really happy with their food. The chowmein was very yummy, the fried rice had lots of flavor, and the service was good. I just went back about a week ago and ordered a lunch special which came with chowmein, fried rice, fried prawns, and sweet and sour pork. The chowmein was just covered in..... something? It was thick like almost like grease. But the noodles were just swimming in it. I took one bite and had to spit it out. It was like drinking bacon grease straight from the pan. So I moved on to the rice because that had never failed me. It was like the just cooked the rice in butter and stopped there. There was no seasoning to it, no vegetables, just buttered rice. And not only that it was dry buttered rice. Ok, 3rd times a charm, I try my prawn. I bite in and I wonder "where the prawn?" It was like eating shrimp flavored fried dough. It was just super greasy fried dough with a slight taste of shrimp but no actual shrimp. I didn't even try the pork. Everything was so greasy and gross I was sick to my stomach at this point and couldn't touch it.
