This place is huge! When you walk into Four Seasons there's a small dining room to left and to the right you'll see two massive dining rooms, with plenty of space for a friends dinner. Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Dined here a handful of times, and returned after more than 5 years. On this occasion, like previous visits, everything was delicious. Our party of 5, (3 adults and 2 children,) ordered from the menu: Shui Mai, Fried Sesame Dumplings, Egg Custard Buns, Shrimp Dumplings, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, and Salt & Pepper Pork Chop. Off the menu, we requested a special fried rice plus plain/steamed rice with some scrambled eggs for our selective vegetarian. I love writing positive reviews! The last two times at Four Seasons were ok, but not great! It made me sad! Because I had had really good food once. But, today I was over joyed ! We went for a late lunch so we could eat left overs for dinner. It was after 2:30 so we got the dinner menu! We chose the B menu for 2 people and added egg foo young-veggie; egg rolls, veggie and iced tea. The soup came piping hot, we had chicken egg drop soup, and 1 hot and spicy soup, both were perfectly delicious. Then they brought egg rolls, foil wrapped chicken, and fried shrimp! The batter was too thick on the shrimp, but it was still okay. Then came the house special fried rice, the house special chow mein, and the sweat and sour pork. The pork was a little over fried, hard to chew, but it it sat in the sauce for a few minutes, yummy! Then came my favorite! The egg foo young, so good! Full of veggies and the sauce was very well done! Deliciousness on a plate. Needless to say we had left overs and probably lunch tomorrow as well. The servers were on point! Feel very lucky to have Four Seasons place nearby and always love the chance to visit, as they have some of the best dishes and the atmosphere is always lively and joyful. Dropped in for an early Mother's Day dinner and dim sum and had most of our usual favorites: salt and pepper tofu, salt and pepper fish, roasted duck, shu mai, shrimp dumplings, and sauteed string beans. We also tried the rice and pork dumplings (which was more like a steamed bun) for the first time, and wrapped it up with some custard tarts for dessert. Their salt and pepper fish is heads and shoulders above anywhere else I've ever had it, and I would put their dumplings up against some of the higher end places we've eaten. I've been coming here for yearrrssss. Honestly, no other place compares to four season for dim sum. They are very consistent with their dishes. Never too salt nor bland. Came back to dine in, it's been a long time since I've been back. It's kind of out of the way for me. But this is the only place I swear by. I usually just do the basic dim sum but this time we got some other dishes as well. Minced shrimp stuffed mushrooms: hands down my favorite thing on the menu. This is the only place that makes it. Everywhere I go I always look for this. It's shrimp mixture stuffed into mushrooms with a blackbean sauce. So good. (5/5) Roasted duck: always fresh, always good. They have the best duck. (5/5) Orange chicken: this was my first time having this here. It's just your basic orange chicken. Good, standard. (4/5) House fried rice: this was good but I feel like it could have been better. Lacked a bit of flavor but still worth getting. (3/5) Har gow: another one of my favorites. Super juicy and you can see the shrimp pieces in each dumpling. (5/5) Honey walnut shrimp: I've worked in multiple restaurants before enough to know when shrimp is freshly peeled or not. These are hand peeled shrimp not pre peeled/deveined. You can tell by the texture of the shrimp. These shrimps were hugeeee and juicy. Had a nice spring and bounce. Slightly too sauced for me, making it a smidge salty. Other than that these were delish. (3.5/5) Pork shumai: big and juicy. I've said juicy a lot and that's just it. The food is juicy. Nothing is worse when something is dry. Best shumai in Fresno/clovis. (5/5) Overall I love this place. I take anyone that comes to visit me here. They love it. Every time I try something new it's always good. Highly, highly recommend. The service here is fast, fast, fast. Love this place!! My favorite times and must-gets are the honey walnut shrimp and the bbq pork buns! The egg custard buns have also made their way on my list for a good little dessert!! Overall though, their food is always served fresh and it's yummy!! The service is usually very quick! Food here is good I'm just confused about the order in which they bring the items out. We got pan fried noodles, orange chicken and cheese wantons. The appetizer came out last. The noodles were first and they were yummy as usual. We pretty much got full on noodles with how long the chicken took to come out. We knew they were very busy and reason we ordered the appetizer. Since ownership changed, I've been here three times, the last two times it's been disappointing. Food is inconsistent in quality and flavor. Ordered Mongolian beef, Sweet Sour Pork, Fried Shrimp, Hargow & Shui Mei, Green beans, Sesame balls, Beef chow fun, Walnut shrimp. Two dish that stood out as exceptionally POOR: Fried shrimp mostly batter w puny piece of shrimp. Sweet Sour pork, batter was soggy because the sauce was poured on top, for take-out sauce should have been separated. Also the batter on both the shrimp and pork was bitter tasting, disgusting taste. I'd suggest passing this place up and going somewhere else. New owners do better, your star rating is going down. Everything was delicious, except for one thing. My favorite was always the Black Bean Sparerib dim sum. It's it my favorite anymore. Yesterday at 12:15, my my brother-in-law, myself and two guests arrived at The Four Seasons. We were greeted with smiles familiarity. We were seated immediately while we were waiting for other two guests to arrive. We ordered the chicken salad small version. It came out much larger than I thought for small, which was good. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The dressing was very well integrated in the lettuce thin carrots added a nice crunch I would rate this chicken salad 8.5 out of 10 when our guest arrived we ordered. I ordered the extra large Szechuan fish bowl steam rice, garlic, string beans the other guest ordered a combination plate of Mongolian beef, fried rice, beef, chow and paper wrapped chicken. Let's get to the soup I had ordered extra fish for four dollars and the fish was almost jumping out of the bowl that was so much tender large pieces of white fish and a pepper Szechuan broth that bamboo shoots, cabbage, carrots, black mushroom mushrooms, thinly sliced 9.5 out of 10 absolutely over the top. The white rice as most people will say yeah it's OK. This rice came out fluffy moist flavorful nine out of 10 on the rice the Mongolian beef Combination plate was huge. It could've fed two people easily, which it did. The Mongolian beef had a nice char as well as the onions, not spicy at all the beef chow mein standard beef chow mein. I'm not gonna go crazy over it. The paper wrapped chicken was very good moist little tender pieces of chicken that just dissolved in your mouth. The new owners of The Four Seasons have stepped up the quality which was always good, but it seems they've added another layer of flavor to all their dishes. I don't understand why they only have four stars out of five I'd rate this restaurant of five star and anyone who wants authentic Chinese food should immediately go to this restaurant and don't forget to ask for the Chinese menu. The portion sizes were the most impressive aspect of this Chinese restaurant while the service and flavors left more to be desired. We were quickly seated and were immediately asked for what we wanted to order. Food came out at different times so we received dessert prior to our dim sum. Strangely every table around us were checked on so our waters and sauces went unfilled. Very poor service. *Dinner Set 3: came with an egg roll, BBQ spare ribs, fried chicken wings, pork fried rice and chow mein. The portion size was massive and could have been shared between 2 people. The egg roll was oily and cold. The BBQ spare ribs could have been more tender but the sweet glaze was enjoyable. The chicken wings were the worst. The batter was unseasoned, thick, heavy, and undercooked. The fried rice was bland. The chow mein was on the saltier side and the vegetables could have benefited from another minute of cook. *Hot Sour Soup: came with the dinner set. Not the most flavorful soup that I've had but I enjoy the umami flavor from the mushrooms. I really liked the chili oil they had on the table and its addition elevated the soup. *Shrimp Steamed Rice Noodle: first dim sum that arrived and it was cold. The shrimp was very small and unseasoned. The rice noodle was on the thicker side but I liked the bouncy texture. More sweet soy was needed to give this dish any flavor. *Mango Pudding: presented in a Styrofoam cup. There was a thin layer of milk separation on top. The mango chunks were sweet and the overall pudding had intense mango flavor. *Egg Custard Bun: fluffy bun with gooey, sweet egg filling. The ratio of bread to filling was ideal although the filling was a bit congealed. The sweet egg paired well with the plainer bread. *Fried Chef's Special Dumpling: very disappointing considering this is my favorite dim sum dish. The filling was tasteless and skimpy. The glutinous exterior needed a better fry as they arrived soggy. *Black Bean Chicken Feet: best dish of the night. The feet were a bit overcooked as the skin was already fallen off but the sauce was richly sweet and savory. The collagen was rendered well. Going bigger isn't always better if the food tastes bad. We selected four dishes: Mongolian Beef (spicy) HK-style Chow Mein House Special Fried Rice Kung Pao Chicken (spicy). The wait time was about 20 minutes. While the prices were slightly higher than expected, the portions were generous. The HK-style Chow Mein was a standout, as my kids thoroughly enjoyed it.
