Everyone is always super nice. Food is tasty. Chicken salad still 15/10. Tons of space and tables inside

I love writing positive reviews! The last two times at Four Seasons were ok, but not great! It made me sad! Because I had had really good food once. But, today I was over joyed ! We went for a late lunch so we could eat left overs for dinner. It was after 2:30 so we got the dinner menu! We chose the B menu for 2 people and added egg foo young-veggie; egg rolls, veggie and iced tea. The soup came piping hot, we had chicken egg drop soup, and 1 hot and spicy soup, both were perfectly delicious. Then they brought egg rolls, foil wrapped chicken, and fried shrimp! The batter was too thick on the shrimp, but it was still okay. Then came the house special fried rice, the house special chow mein, and the sweat and sour pork. The pork was a little over fried, hard to chew, but it it sat in the sauce for a few minutes, yummy! Then came my favorite! The egg foo young, so good! Full of veggies and the sauce was very well done! Deliciousness on a plate. Needless to say we had left overs and probably lunch tomorrow as well. The servers were on point! Always close by if we needed anything. It was a great afternoon lunch with my daughter! Looking forward to dinner. Happy eating in Clovis!

Feel very lucky to have Four Seasons place nearby and always love the chance to visit, as they have some of the best dishes and the atmosphere is always lively and joyful. Dropped in for an early Mother's Day dinner and dim sum and had most of our usual favorites: salt and pepper tofu, salt and pepper fish, roasted duck, shu mai, shrimp dumplings, and sauteed string beans. We also tried the rice and pork dumplings (which was more like a steamed bun) for the first time, and wrapped it up with some custard tarts for dessert. Their salt and pepper fish is heads and shoulders above anywhere else I've ever had it, and I would put their dumplings up against some of the higher end places we've eaten. The service was quick and responsive as usual, and we look forward to coming back again and again!

I've been coming here for yearrrssss. Honestly, no other place compares to four season for dim sum. They are very consistent with their dishes. Never too salt nor bland. Came back to dine in, it's been a long time since I've been back. It's kind of out of the way for me. But this is the only place I swear by. I usually just do the basic dim sum but this time we got some other dishes as well. Minced shrimp stuffed mushrooms: hands down my favorite thing on the menu. This is the only place that makes it. Everywhere I go I always look for this. It's shrimp mixture stuffed into mushrooms with a blackbean sauce. So good. (5/5) Roasted duck: always fresh, always good. They have the best duck. (5/5) Orange chicken: this was my first time having this here. It's just your basic orange chicken. Good, standard. (4/5) House fried rice: this was good but I feel like it could have been better. Lacked a bit of flavor but still worth getting. (3/5) Har gow: another one of my favorites. Super juicy and you can see the shrimp pieces in each dumpling. (5/5) Honey walnut shrimp: I've worked in multiple restaurants before enough to know when shrimp is freshly peeled or not. These are hand peeled shrimp not pre peeled/deveined. You can tell by the texture of the shrimp. These shrimps were hugeeee and juicy. Had a nice spring and bounce. Slightly too sauced for me, making it a smidge salty. Other than that these were delish. (3.5/5) Pork shumai: big and juicy. I've said juicy a lot and that's just it. The food is juicy. Nothing is worse when something is dry. Best shumai in Fresno/clovis. (5/5) Overall I love this place. I take anyone that comes to visit me here. They love it. Every time I try something new it's always good. Highly, highly recommend. The service here is fast, fast, fast. Does seem a tad bit rushed but Chinese restaurants are always like this. Nothing unusual. Had great service while I dined in. Must try.

Love this place!! My favorite times and must-gets are the honey walnut shrimp and the bbq pork buns! The egg custard buns have also made their way on my list for a good little dessert!! Overall though, their food is always served fresh and it's yummy!! The service is usually very quick! It can get a bit full, especially in the parking lot because it's shared with in n out, but once you're seated it's usually fairly quick! The place can get busy and a little loud and hectic, but to be fair I've always been there during peak lunch or dinner hours.

Service is quick and fast . Food is always amazing and fresh. We normally go for dim sum and family style dinning. My parents love to go there and it's such a staple to have dim sum at least once a month. Our fav spot overall!

Mongolian Beef

First time trying them and they did not disappoint. We didn't try the duck this time but several tables did and they were inhaling it. Servers were very nice and attentive but not imposing. Had the Cashew Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Very tasty. Portions were more than fair. Pot Stickers were made with love. Will gladly come back soon.

The workers all looked like they were in a hurry, but it wasn't busy at all when we went. Just 4 tables total so it was also pretty quiet. We ordered 10 different items from the dim sum menu. Everything was delicious, except for one thing. My favorite was always the Black Bean Sparerib dim sum. It's it my favorite anymore. I would order it every time I came here, but they must have changed the recipe because it was not delicious at all this time. I was very disappointed. My favorite dim sum is not the same anymore. Also, although everything else tasted wonderful, it was all way too oily.

Food here is good I'm just confused about the order in which they bring the items out. We got pan fried noodles, orange chicken and cheese wantons. The appetizer came out last. The noodles were first and they were yummy as usual. We pretty much got full on noodles with how long the chicken took to come out. We knew they were very busy and reason we ordered the appetizer. We had a similar experience our first visit. Staff here is very friendly I just hate how wonky the order comes out.

Beef and broccoli
William G.

Yummy, the service here is fantastic! Loved the decorations, ordered beef and broccoli, bbq pork, sour soup , they were all delicious! There are not many places that I would drive across town to eat at but this is one of them. I'm going to say the best Chinese in Clovis, the inside is tastefully decorated. Highly recommend this spot, I will eat here again

Best dim sum in the Central Valley. Always treat service, always greeted and treated with care, always great food. Tables are huge and clean. This will always be our go to for Dim Sum in Central Valley, Ca

Sizzling Rice Soup. Yum.

Our go to for Chinese food. Usually we order takeout. Today we ate in and really enjoyed it. The serve staff is very friendly and attentive. Quiet atmosphere, with occasional outbursts of people laughing or talking. Definitely family friendly. Love the food. We tend to order some traditional and some Americanized food.

Thuy N.

Had a lot of solid meals here--fresh, flavorful Chinese and dim sum with generous portion sizes. The service was always efficient and friendly, making for a pleasant casual dining experience.

There's literally four sushi chefs making it constantly so as soon as the plates are empty, they can be refilled. That's basically the same strategy for all of the stations here. The food quality has gone downhill, which is disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The food tastes like freezer Chinese food rewarmed. Our large party was automatically charged a 15% gratuity, yet the service didn't justify it. Our server only brought water once and never refilled drinks till we were leaving. We were seated at the only table they have for large parties, located in the back near the dessert area. The table was wobbly, appeared to have a folding table added to make room, and was cramped and uncomfortable. What I don't understand is why large parties are charged extra when the seating and service are no different from any other table in the restaurant. If you're paying more, there should be better accommodations or added service, not the same experience everyone else receives. After two disappointing visits this year, I won't be returning. It's unfortunate because I used to love this restaurant. I suggest to go to another place for large parties or for business events. just fyi it was almost $300 for 5 adults 3 children. Also on a previous visit I went two hours before closing the food quality is extremely horrible and they don't refill the food anymore. They started mopping it smelled like dirty mop. Still charge full price. They just let you eat whatever is out. Sad to say

I may be a bit late to the conversation about this place, but I can now see why so many people say…read moreD Hou serves the best Chinese food in town. Known as a local gem, it stands out for its high-quality ingredients, made-to-order dishes, and consistently authentic Cantonese flavors at fair prices. D Hou's fresh, home-cooked Mandarin-Cantonese cuisine, personalized service from the owner, and cozy atmosphere made an immediate impression on me. The restaurant offers a warm, casual dining experience and has clearly become a favorite spot for both family meals and takeout. The owner, Lynn, is actually Korean and is frequently praised for being welcoming, remembering regular customers, and treating guests like family. That was certainly my experience as well. D Hou has earned its reputation for freshly prepared food made with high-quality vegetables and proteins. Standout dishes include the Kung Pao Trio, tangerine beef, and egg flower soup. I had heard many people rave about the Mongolian beef -- one of my favorite Chinese dishes -- so I had to try it. The Mongolian beef was excellent. The meat was tender, with velvety slices and lightly crispy edges, coated in a sweet-and-savory soy-ginger glaze that clung to the beef instead of pooling at the bottom of the dish. It was obvious the meat had been cooked over very high heat because it was beautifully caramelized without being overcooked. The balance of garlic, scallions, and savory depth gave the dish a fresh, authentic flavor. Only a handful of Chinese restaurants prepare this dish correctly, and D Hou can definitely be added to that list. The Kung Pao chicken was another standout. This Sichuan-style stir-fry featured tender marinated chicken and crisp vegetables in a glossy sauce that balanced spicy, sweet, tangy, and savory notes. The aroma of toasted dried chiles, chili oil, and Sichuan peppercorns immediately stood out. I especially appreciated that the dish focused on quality ingredients rather than filler vegetables. Instead of relying only on peanuts, they incorporated fresh vegetables and sliced water chestnuts that added texture and freshness. I was even impressed by the fried rice. It was rich and flavorful without being clumpy, greasy, or overly dry. Great fried rice should be lightly coated in oil and seasoned properly with soy sauce rather than drenched in it, preserving the rice's chewiness and aroma. Most Chinese restaurants in Fresno, in my experience, do not get this right. The fried rice here had a clean, balanced flavor that likely comes from quality oil and restraint with unnecessary ingredients. Rather than overloading it with vegetables, they kept it simple with eggs and scallions, allowing the texture and wok flavor to shine. The rice itself was firm with a slight chew -- not mushy or dry. According to Lynn, that perfect texture comes from using dry long-grain rice that is only a few hours old rather than overnight leftovers, as many restaurants do. Cooking it over extremely high heat in a wok also creates the distinct wok hei aroma and flavor. Customers often mention the generous portions and reasonable prices, especially considering the quality of the food. I agree completely. The portions are hearty and satisfying without feeling excessive. Lynn also mentioned they have not raised prices in over five years. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing -- the kind of place where you can truly unwind and enjoy your meal. I immediately noticed how many regulars were dining there, which speaks volumes about the consistency, value, and hospitality that keep people coming back. Their Mongolian beef is among the best I have had in town. The food and service are consistently excellent, and the combination of quality ingredients, fair prices, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere easily explains D Hou's loyal following.

The House Special Roasted Duck (siu mei), traditionally served chopped through the bone over a mound of steaming rice, delivered satisfying umami-rich flavor. However, the skin was slightly rubbery, the edges somewhat dry, and I wish the duck itself had been meatier. The Pork Spare Ribs in Black Bean Sauce, one of their dim sum offerings, were savory, garlicky, and deeply umami-forward, though a bit too heavy on the sauce and cornstarch. The meat was firmer than I prefer, and the ribs should have been cut into smaller, more manageable pieces. The two standout dishes for me so far have been the Sautéed Pig Ears and the Roasted Pork (siu yuk). The pig ears are stir-fried with pickled vegetables and sliced jalapeños, then chilled and served cold. The combination creates a balanced mix of tangy, spicy, and savory flavors. I especially enjoyed the contrast between the gelatinous, tender skin, the distinct cartilage snap, and the crisp exterior. The roasted pork was deeply flavorful and satisfying as well, though it still lacked the tenderness and brittle crackling texture that make exceptional siu yuk memorable. So far, I have not been fully impressed by anything I have tried here. The food is good, but it misses the kind of polished, professional-level precision that would make it truly outstanding. Still, with over 130 dishes on the menu -- not even counting the dim sum selection -- I suspect there are still a few hidden gems left to discover. 3.5 stars for me
