The freshest and most favorable food ever! The owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet and their service has always been fantastic. Clean and friendly atmosphere too. My favorite is the chicken chow mein a must try!

I love this place!!! The pork buns are my favorite. The workers are so nice and are very welcoming. Every time I go the food is delicious and they always bring it out very fast.

It was hot the day we visited, so we quit work early and drove to the Sequoias. When we got there, it was freezing. Winding our way back down, we were hungry and craving Chinese food. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, but we saw some diners enter as we ate. It was pretty late in the evening. The portions are massive. I'm so glad I had these noodles. They were not too soft, so they reheated well the next day. Very yummy! Unfortunately, we missed dim sum. Next time, we'll have to go back at brunch!

Always mine and my boyfriends go-to Chinese restaurant before hitting winco to grocery shop. Food is always great, perfect portions and smells amazing! Our waitress is always so kind and generous to accommodate us with anything we have questions about or want to change. Inside is always clean and never too too busy. If you're looking for the best egg drop soup and dim sum in town, come to jade restaurant!!

My wife was in the mood for some Chinese food but also really wanted to find a place that had steamed buns. Lucky for us they did; she was sold! She went with an unusual choice for her main entree, the mandarin chicken plate with two sides of white rice. Mandarin Chicken: She didn't think the mandarin chicken was going to be as spicy as the kung pao chicken, but for someone who doesn't eat spice; beware, it's spicy! She said the chicken was tender, worked well with the white rice and the veggies that were with the chicken. The only thing that stopped her from finishing it was the spice. Semi win for the wife. Pork steamed buns: the bun was soft, but the flavor from the pork wasn't good. My wife and I took a bite and what was supposed to be excitement for finally finding buns quickly subsided into "no thank you." Pass. Doesn't have good flavor in our opinion. Custard steamed buns: like the pork buns, the bun itself was soft, decent flavor. The custard to me reminded me of cake batter. Normally I'm not one for cake batter but it was delicious! My wife didn't think so! She wasn't a fan of the custard. Final Thoughts: she really liked the presentation, some of the flavors and wants to try other things from the menu. It's a win for my wife and a win for me for the custard buns.

Was on are way to Winco to do some grocery shopping and my gf was a little hungry and so was i so we decided to try this place since it was in the same plaza. As soon as we walked in we were seated the waitress was very nice and courteous. The place was clean and are order was taken promptly. So we ordered are plates,I ordered i believe was some chow mein and shrimps and my gf ordered the same but instead of shrimps she got orange chicken. Both are dishes were OK. I dont like to bash places but it was just OK. We've had better but also we've had worse, that's why I just gave them 3 's I forgot the girls name that helped us but she was an awesome waitress!!!! I believe her name was nene? Parking was easy cause it's in a big plaza parking lot. All in all not a bad place to go. I would recommend this place.

    Hunan Queen

My favorite Chinese restaurant in town. I love the shrimp dishes (bang bang , walnut and drunken shrimp) and usually alternate with a stir fry meat/veg dish. Pictured is the Hunan Queen and drunken shrimp. It fed 2 ppl plus had more for left over. Highly recommend coming if you want delicious foods that are well portioned. Get the chef's specials!

We only ordered Buns for our order today. We got pork buns, custard buns, and Ube buns. Our drinks were sprite and Thai Tea. The buns were good I kind of wish the pork meat was a little sweeter but overall still good. The Thai Tea was delicious (couldn't wait for the photo lol) Atmosphere was peaceful and not alot of patrons eating there. There was a lot of people picking up to go orders though. The Servers were really nice as well. Would definitely recommend this place.

I tried this place because I searched up soup dumplings near me and this popped up There was a nice menu, lots of options, a good variation for daily specials. The ambiance is cozy, very welcoming. The service was great, our waitress was very attentive making sure we enjoyed our meal. The dumplings wasn't what I expected but they were okay. I loved the steam lotus rice cakes were filled with mushrooms and some meat I think. My salt and pepper chicken was fried to perfection the rice and noddles were good. I will definitely come back to try the rest of their stuff.

When I worked in Visalia I use to eat here 2-3 a week with my coworkers. In my option, it was the best Chinese food in town. However, the last few visits have been disappointing. The flavor is still great but the portion seemed to get smaller. Even with a raise in their prices. Hopefully the next time I visit it returns back to what I remember.

Its evidently really hard to find a ramen, soup, pho place in and around visalia that will deliver. I finally came upon this place that had some hot soup on this cold rainy day. I was about to order an entire thing of soup, then I thought their dinner specials also included a soup. So I went with a mongolian beef combo and nixed the soup. Fast forward to delivery, and imagine how surprised I was when there was no soup!!! Upon further review evidently there was no soup included in the combo. I guess thats what happens when you order food online when you just woke up.... that one's on me. The mongolian beef was spicy!! They do tell you in thr description. Came with 2 scoops of white rice (you do have a choice of carb side). The beef was extremely soft and tender. Flavors were really good. There was just not enough meat in it. It was buried in all the peppers and onions and vegetables. I really do wish they had more beef in it. I also ordered their custard bun. 4 comes in an order. The bun is nice and soft. There's not that much custard in it. Custard is thick and creamy. Lacks taste though. From what I had. Flavors are just ok. Pricing is good, or maybe I'm just use to the LA post pandemic life style. But I wouldn't mind coming back here and having a more extensive look at their menu.

The service was good, but there is no flexibility when ordering. Food was ok, but lacked flavor. Nice ambiance and good location.

The target customer demographic in this area isn't generally Asian, so we tempered our expectations before dining here. We were impressed by the extensive menu offerings and after some deliberation, we settled on the Dinner for Two which started with a Won Ton Soup and fried shrimp and pot stickers as appetizers. The entree included sizzling rice wor bar, Peking pork and pork fried rice (we substituted for pork chow mein). The restaurant was very traditional in closing the meal out with fortune cookies. Our favorite due to its flavor was the Peking pork, and we also enjoyed the fried shrimp, pot stickers and sizzling rice wor bar. The only misses were the Won Ton Soup (we felt the flavor of the broth was not quite right) and the pork chow mein (it arrived lukewarm and lacking in flavor but it was an improvement after dousing it in chili sauce). Chinese Kitchen doesn't appear to be located in the best neighborhood, but it is easy to tell that this establishment has been around for quite some time. The best part of our dining experience was the service. Our greeter and server welcomed us, took our order and checked in on us multiple times. We also had the opportunity to chat with the owner and she is very welcoming and helpful. If you're in Visalia and have a craving for Chinese cuisine, Chinese Kitchen is as good an option as any!

But my friends who recommended it they've came but only for the drinks on the Lum Lums side. Hong Kong is the the food side apparently. So I ordered the Shrimp Fu Yung. I got stir fried shrimp with veggies over a clump of breaded onion. The shrimp was over cooked veggies were fine. The breaded onion seemed like it might have been reheated from a previous unused dish. If it wasn't for the gravy it wouldn't have rehydrated. Wasn't this an Egg Foo Yung dish, instead it was a clump of breaded onions. That's how bad it was. This place was busy but don't know why. The other people I was with ordered lemon chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, fried plain wontons, sweet and sour chicken. They all seem to enjoy it. They received a lot of food. But a lot was taken home as leftovers. My friends are also non-Asian and not a big foodie like me. So take that however you want. It's sad when businesses close but to make a highly traditional dish like egg foo yung terrible, that is a sign.
