Same as always, friendly service and good food. I love the new way they are serving their wor won ton soup. Separating the won tons from the broth gives me more broth and doesn't make the won tons get soggy. I am very glad that this family business is still alive and well in our little town. read more

We've been coming here for years has always been our go to for Chinese food, the last time my husband and I went I noticed the food just didn't taste the same but I figured maybe it was me, well my husband and my daughter and her boyfriend went to dinner yesterday and we were disappointed first the egg flour soup was not hot, it was really thick and just not very good, we noticed we got our food extremely fast which makes me think that it's not made fresh to order, the chow main was supposed to be for 4 people and we didn't get as much as we use to, and we were given the egg roll and not given any sauce to dip them I believe it's under new ownership and let me tell you it's obvious, it's too bad I really loved the food here before read more

The lady in the front gave me a bad attitude and got all pissed because I wanted to place a separate order, I have worked in the food industry it is not something difficult nor something to get bitter about. The lady was rude even after paying for my food, it's not like it's coming out of her check. This is outrageous and I am not returning! The orange chicken was so bad, the taste was gross. It was all stuck to each other as well. You can tell they don't use fresh ingredients and just use frozen. The items are so overpriced too and the fact people keep buying from here. The chow mein noodles were just as bad, they were literally so dry and tasted over a day old. Best Chinese food in the Central Valley of California right here in little old Corcoran! We've been coming here for over 26 years! Honestly everything is really fresh and flavorful. Try the New China War Wan Ton Soup and if you are getting take out ask them to put the wan ton in a separate container from the broth w/ greens and meat. That way you wan ton stays perfect until you get it home and add it to the soup. Highly disappointed because it used to be quite good but with owner change I guess new owners didn't seek any advice. Oil in everything tasted old and almost rancid. ( Probably used over and over) Lemon chicken looked great but so dried out it was impossible to cut and eat. Fried rice was just ok due to the oil they fry in. Even fried Won Ton had that yuk oil taste. Pot stickers were about the only thing somewhat ok. Not many can mess up on those since most buy frozen. Saw several local food pick ups coming in but then again, not much around town for quick meals. What a Big Disappointment, I went today in there because I wanted Chinese Food and I havent been in there in 2 months. They upgraded the Menu's & when I was ready to order I hadn't notice that the whole Menu changed! Don't eat here. We ordered four lunches and the meat tasted old and uneatable. All four meals went in the trash. I've eaten at this location for twenty five years and it's usually good. The last few meals have gotten progressively worse. This use to be the go to restaurant in Corcoran but not anymore. read more

It's really hard to screw up chinese food but they managed to do the impossible somehow. I lived in the Bay Area for 22 years where some of the best Chinese restaurants in California reside and I've also eaten Chinese food all over the world (with some interesting local takes on it) and I can assure you that this was the worst chinese food I've ever eaten. My favorite Chinese restaurant! We live about 35 minutes from Corcoran and it's always a treat to have dinner here. The sweet and sour chicken is my favorite. The portions are more than enough, you'll always need a take out box. The owners are very sweet and always remember our orders even if we havent been in awhile. read more

I can say this place has the best family dinner selections. I love their New China dinner. They are affordable and the portions are reasonable. They have the best Chinese chicken salad and Bbq short ribs I've ever had. Their soft noodle chow mein is to die for. I love how they slice their Bbq pork into thin slices to garnish the noodles. Good American-style Chinese food in the middle of nowhere, all of the sweet & sour comes out hot and crispy, the pan-fried dishes are very salty but well-cooked, and best of all is getting chow mien with the crispy, tangly noodles. An easy-to-miss specialty is the shrimp egg foo young, which is awesome, except they sometimes skimp on shrimp. After a night of drinking it's just what you need. The owner can be pretty stubborn about substitutions, try not to ask for much. If you substitute the wrong thing and say you'll pay extra, she'll tell you that you can't do that, you have to order this and add/substitute that instead, and so on. Not sure why she can't do that herself. Overall I like coming here, it's quaint and cool in summer and certainly a long-time legacy of Corcoran. read more

Cashier was super friendly, and courteous. Letter K was the BOMB! I got Chinese style noddles and I actually felt like I was on vacation in Shanghai, pot stickers were the real deal. Being the only Chinese restaurant in the area, I can understand why people gave it more than 1 star. However, their food is not good, and the younger guy that takes orders is the worst! He is no help whatsoever, is extremely lazy, and has no respect or manners to customers. Asked nicely about certain items on the menu and he replies with "I don't know".
