No point in ordering food ahead of time. They start the order once you get there and pay.

Same as always, friendly service and good food. I love the new way they are serving their wor won ton soup. Separating the won tons from the broth gives me more broth and doesn't make the won tons get soggy. I am very glad that this family business is still alive and well in our little town. read more

Best Chinese food in Corcoran. Honey walnut shrimp and Hong Kong Chow Mein. Chinese noodles!

Great food! Great service! Love the pork chow mein and pork rice and sweet and sour pork. Food is always fresh and hot, made to order.

Great food. Comfortable atmosphere. Good service. Almost every time I come to Corcoran I try to grab a bite from here. read more

New China Restaurant - Chinese Near Me - Corcoran, California

We've been coming here for years has always been our go to for Chinese food, the last time my husband and I went I noticed the food just didn't taste the same but I figured maybe it was me, well my husband and my daughter and her boyfriend went to dinner yesterday and we were disappointed first the egg flour soup was not hot, it was really thick and just not very good, we noticed we got our food extremely fast which makes me think that it's not made fresh to order, the chow main was supposed to be for 4 people and we didn't get as much as we use to, and we were given the egg roll and not given any sauce to dip them I believe it's under new ownership and let me tell you it's obvious, it's too bad I really loved the food here before read more

We came Corcoran to visit a family and tried this Chinese place. We were surprised how good their food is. Waitress are very friendly and the ambience are relax. read more

Horrible service! The lady in the front gave me a bad attitude and got all pissed because I wanted to place a separate order, I have worked in the food industry it is not something difficult nor something to get bitter about. The lady was rude even after paying for my food, it's not like it's coming out of her check. This is outrageous and I am not returning! If you don't have manners maybe you should work in the restaurant industry. read more

Great service and food - super fast! Best Chinese food in town! Big portions with lots of leftovers for the next day! read more

Kinda run down but it's our go to for lunch. Love the Chinese food (typical American Chinese) but they have pizza, Mexican food, sushi, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. Kinda pricey but it's ALL you can eat! read more

The orange chicken was so bad, the taste was gross. It was all stuck to each other as well. You can tell they don't use fresh ingredients and just use frozen. The items are so overpriced too and the fact people keep buying from here. The chow mein noodles were just as bad, they were literally so dry and tasted over a day old. Never again I gave this places a good amount of chances. It's sad that this is the only Chinese food place. read more

Best Chinese food in the Central Valley of California right here in little old Corcoran! We've been coming here for over 26 years! Honestly everything is really fresh and flavorful. Try the New China War Wan Ton Soup and if you are getting take out ask them to put the wan ton in a separate container from the broth w/ greens and meat. That way you wan ton stays perfect until you get it home and add it to the soup. We always get the New China Chow Mein, honey walnut shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, broccoli beef, bbq pork, pan fried noodles. Sweet and sour pork. Try New China once and you too will be a regular customer! read more

We Love the food at New china , the portions are good we always take left overs home. We drive from Visalia to Corcoran just for the service and food!! read more

Highly disappointed because it used to be quite good but with owner change I guess new owners didn't seek any advice. Oil in everything tasted old and almost rancid. ( Probably used over and over) Lemon chicken looked great but so dried out it was impossible to cut and eat. Fried rice was just ok due to the oil they fry in. Even fried Won Ton had that yuk oil taste. Pot stickers were about the only thing somewhat ok. Not many can mess up on those since most buy frozen. Saw several local food pick ups coming in but then again, not much around town for quick meals. Waitress was great but when leaving my thoughts went to wondering what the condition of kitchen was like and I kinda shuttered at the though. Glad I had a train to catch. read more

rice and chow mein tasted like garbage.the service was also bad the lady took forever to take your order and forever for the food. the only good thing was the orange chicken and soda. never coming back here if I do I only order the orange chicken for take out. read more

This place was sooo Good ! It's a hidden overlooked gem in the valley. Prices are better compared to other similar restaurants, I would recommend this place over the other same category restaurants! read more

Food tasted old and heavily cooked in pork fat that's all I could taste flavor wise, would not recommend eating here.

What a Big Disappointment, I went today in there because I wanted Chinese Food and I havent been in there in 2 months. They upgraded the Menu's & when I was ready to order I hadn't notice that the whole Menu changed! I usually get the Number 2's and order only (2) meals Now You have to order for 3 or more persons now. I guess I won't be stopping there any more. read more

Don't eat here. We ordered four lunches and the meat tasted old and uneatable. All four meals went in the trash. I've eaten at this location for twenty five years and it's usually good. The last few meals have gotten progressively worse. This use to be the go to restaurant in Corcoran but not anymore. read more

It's really hard to screw up chinese food but they managed to do the impossible somehow. I lived in the Bay Area for 22 years where some of the best Chinese restaurants in California reside and I've also eaten Chinese food all over the world (with some interesting local takes on it) and I can assure you that this was the worst chinese food I've ever eaten. Worst item: they serve the chow mein with extra grease on purpose, it's on the menu. read more

no para nada la comida desabrida y bien grasosa, las costillas bien chiquitas y duras bien Viejas que Asa el guess de la costilla negro de Viejas. The food grease, no flavor, the ribs old the bone of the ribs dark sing of old meat. definitely I don't recommended waist of money read more

Best Chinese food Around! Very Authentic. If you have not tried it, you missing out on great Chinese food. Everything is good.

My favorite Chinese restaurant! We live about 35 minutes from Corcoran and it's always a treat to have dinner here. The sweet and sour chicken is my favorite. The portions are more than enough, you'll always need a take out box. The owners are very sweet and always remember our orders even if we havent been in awhile. read more

Worst food I ever tasted we wasted our money we ended up throwing it away after one bite

Great food and great service. My favorite is the wor wan ton soup, new china special chow mein, and orange chicken.

Or as we call it, Old China. Good American-style Chinese food in the middle of nowhere, all of the sweet & sour comes out hot and crispy, the pan-fried dishes are very salty but well-cooked, and best of all is getting chow mien with the crispy, tangly noodles. An easy-to-miss specialty is the shrimp egg foo young, which is awesome, except they sometimes skimp on shrimp. After a night of drinking it's just what you need. The owner can be pretty stubborn about substitutions, try not to ask for much. If you substitute the wrong thing and say you'll pay extra, she'll tell you that you can't do that, you have to order this and add/substitute that instead, and so on. Not sure why she can't do that herself. Overall I like coming here, it's quaint and cool in summer and certainly a long-time legacy of Corcoran. read more

I can say this place has the best family dinner selections. I love their New China dinner. They are affordable and the portions are reasonable. They have the best Chinese chicken salad and Bbq short ribs I've ever had. Their soft noodle chow mein is to die for. I love how they slice their Bbq pork into thin slices to garnish the noodles. Although at the time we had gone the service wasn't that great but the food made up for it. read more

I drive all the way from Porterville to Corcoran just to get their Chicken Salad..The chicken salad is AMAZING!!! The staff is very friendly and the place is really clean. Prices are reasonable. I wish they had another location closer to me :( read more

Cashier was super friendly, and courteous. Letter K was the BOMB! I got Chinese style noddles and I actually felt like I was on vacation in Shanghai, pot stickers were the real deal. Panda don't got a chance against this establishment!!! Will return again. Also we're not stingy with the hot sauce! read more

Good by American Chinese food standards. I got the chicken fried rice and enjoyed it with added Sriracha. Although others say it's worth driving elsewhere, this reasturant is a good choice for Corcorans Chinese food selections, BECAUSE THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION read more

Tried the "Kung Bow Chicken". Great flavor, but beware, the red peppers are chopped up small and easy to miss. I would definitely order this again, but maybe I would order it mild instead. read more

Being the only Chinese restaurant in the area, I can understand why people gave it more than 1 star. However, their food is not good, and the younger guy that takes orders is the worst! He is no help whatsoever, is extremely lazy, and has no respect or manners to customers. Asked nicely about certain items on the menu and he replies with "I don't know". If you don't know go ask someone. If you don't care, then get another job, loser! read more

Fast service. Friendly and keep up on your tea, soda or water. Specials and if you can explain it well they'll even go off the menu for you.

Never expected such good Chinese food in the middle of nowhere! Prices are adverage and service is decent. I've only gotten it to go so I'm not sure how well they serve but seriously good food when your so far from Fresno or Visallia or Hanford. read more

The ruler by which all Chinese food is measured. Bar none...best Chinese in the Central Valley. Chow Mein is one of a kind, as is the Egg Foo Yung. can't say enough good things about this place. But, then again, I've been coming here since I was young. I've searched far and wide for yumminess to match, to no avail! Worth the drive, treat yourself! read more
