This place used to be good and we loved going there. Ordered take out and our food was so disappointing that I had to update my review. Phad thai was so white and bland. The chicken had no flavor and was hard. I remember the phad thaj was my favorite, had a lot of sauces. It was disappointing that we had to use our store bought pad Thai sauce to refry it. Phad Kee Mao was so disappointing! Seriously? What happened to the flavor!!!???? It was so white and unappetizing. Pad kra pow was the worst! They stirred fry veggies with it and veggies were still raw. We had to refry it at home and it was still disappointing. We don't remember the dish looking like this! Is there a new cook? A new owner? Decided to have lunch here while visiting Hanford. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Love Basil and it was very tasty. I ordered the combination for the protein and I was a bit disappointed. There was only 3 shrimps in the dish and decent amount of chicken. The food was quickly prepared but the flavors weren't executed well. Besides the initial order, there was no interaction with the staff. We had to go up front to get the bill and to go boxes. *Thai Tea: mostly ice and the tea wasn't strong. The cup size was large but the flavor was lacking. One of my least favorite renditions. *Pad See Ew: there was a decent amount of chicken. However, the vegetables needed to be cooked longer. The noodles needed to be better mixed in the sauce. The sauce needed more richness and sweetness. Additionally I found a piece of plastic in my dish. While the serving sizes were good, I didn't enjoy the flavors. I am so glad this place came up in my yelp search. I was able to place an order through the app making it super easy and convenient. Picking g up that food was a breeze. I am impressed with the chicken spring roll. It was fresh not a frozen item. There were nice minced chicken bites. The family was happy with the orange chicken and shrimp, fried rice pad see we. When we are back visiting family this will definitely be in our rotation. Portions were generous and prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. We ordered the red curry chicken, spring rolls, and tofu. Curry had plenty of veggies and chicken. It was super flavorful. Shrimp spring rolls are a steal at $10 for 4 rolls. Tofu was fine but not amazing. My sister swears by their papaya salad. Taste exactly how it should be and is very refreshing. Thai tea tasted a bit watered down. Not a fan of their other typical asian/Chinese food. Its good but not great. Nice to have it for people who want something familiar, like orange chicken or fried rice. We came right as they opened for dinner so it wasn't too busy for a Friday night. Please note they do close from 3pm to 4:30pm on Tuesday-Friday. read more

I've been to Thai Thai before and got the Pad See Ew and crispy shrimp rolls and both were delicious! This time I tried the pineapple curry and OH. MY GOD!! Soooo freaking good! I don't like pineapple on my pizza cuz I don't like hot pineapple so I was a little apprehensive but this pineapple curry was AMAZING! It's a pretty big serving too so I was able to take the other half home and make a whole another meal the next day! What was REALLY nice was the curry came with a side of rice for FREE! Everyone else always charges for a side of rice! I really appreciate that! Great customer service, amazing prices and the food was incredible! Can we talk about the awesome prices!? I got the crab Rangoon, pineapple curry, and hot tea and my total was ONLY $26! If Thai Thai was in Visalia it would be a problem because I would be there at LEAST once a week! Hair in Food & Poor Service - Disappointed After Years of Loyalty I've been a customer here since 2021, but unfortunately, tonight was my last visit. Over the past two years, the quality of service and food has noticeably declined--and tonight was the final straw. Let me explain what happened. I placed an online order and requested a substitution--swapping vegetables for rice--using the comments section, since there's no proper way to customize online. I even added a $5 tip in advance, hoping it could help cover any extra cost (rice is $4, veggies are $2). I'm a Type 1 diabetic--newly diagnosed as an adult--and too many carbs can be dangerous for me, so the substitution wasn't just a preference, it was a health necessity. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act in California, charging more for food modifications related to a medical condition can be considered discriminatory. Despite this, the restaurant called to inform me of a $2 upcharge. I asked for a refund of my tip so they could charge me properly--still problematic, but I was trying to be reasonable. Instead, on bill I cancelled tip. And the owner--who also seems to work the kitchen and manage online orders--was clearly annoyed. Front desk young kid, told me I'd have to wait until the end of the night for a resolution. When I offer to pay difference, the front staff completely ignored me. It wasn't their fault, but it left a really bad impression. As if that wasn't enough: the curry tasted off (again), the vegetables were not fresh, and worst of all--a thick, curly black hair was found in my child's orange chicken. That was the final dealbreaker. Food safety should be non-negotiable. It's upsetting to see a place I once loved fall so far. I won't be returning. read more

It tasted like they opened a package of ground pork and dumped it in the pan, browned it, and tossed it in my plate! For a second I wondered, did I just bite off my tongue?! How come I can't taste anything?? I could have licked my lips and got more salt taste! My over easy eggs that go on top were just as bad as McDonalds rubber eggs. No easy- no yoke. Just Over- Over done. Sad! I added, the fish sauce and chili, salt, pepper, multiple things, but I gave up. My wife ordered the Pad KeeMao, same massive problem. Packaged noodles dumped in a pan with some bell peppers, but must have also brain farted and added no spices! Notice the translucent, no color on the noodles, and the big crispy vegetables. Practically raw veggies. Just tells you that it spent hardly no time in the pan to build any flavor. I coulda made some ramen at home! The last pic is not good quality, after a night in the fridge and doctoring up the meal, some noodles broke, doesn't present well, but at least you can see the colors- and damn the taste was superb after my wife got a hold of it! It's Thai Food for "F" Sake!! World renowned for flavor, spice, umami - combo of sweet, savory, salty, spicy, all rolled into one. It was so sad that we had to box our food, bring it home to remake it! I'm lucky I had that option with my Lao wife, who can cook all these items. Our experiences in Hanford have been so bad, we've contemplated opening our own small pop up restaurant. Do catering of limited, top notch Asian dishes! I can't say much more about this disaster; well, I just did! Just stay away. You're better off going to Visalia or Fresno for Thai food. Everyone else who raved about this place in reviews. What are you tasting?! You are being fleeced by these restaurants. Someone needs to do a medical study on these people's senses! Primarily taste...I just feel bad for them. Went on a Sunday night and found the restaurant full, which was a good sign. We were seated pretty quickly despite the restaurant being busy. Good customer service and friendly wait staff. Service was quick and friendly. Plenty of items on the menu. I wanted to try but settled on the orange chicken, which was very good and was a good size portion. Also got teriyaki chicken. It was good as well. Lots of items on the menu looked really good (tom kha, sticky rice, spring rolls etc) and will have to try them in the future. Lots of parking in the shopping center, so getting in and out was easy. Found Thai Thai just by searching the Internet, and was happy to have landed at the restaurant as it was well worth a stop. read more

The wife and I came upon this wonderful place while looking for something to eat in Hanford. We were greeted by a friendly respectful staff, seated immediately and without two minutes gone by, had our drinks and menus. I found the many selections quite appealing, but even more so were the pictures of the food itself. This made it much easier to choose. We selected to start with the appetizer combo, to follow with orange chicken, Thai Thai noodles. The appetizer appeared within five minutes, the remainder shortly after. Aside from the dishes tasting amazing, they were also of generous proportion. We took two boxes to go that took care of dinner later at home. I highly recommend this place. Their service, food selection & taste as well as genuine hospitality checked off all of my boxes. There's plenty to choose from. I can't imagine anyone leaving the Thai Thai disappointed. read more

This is probably one of the best Thai food I've had in a while! Location is a little town by the casino so a good distance to grab lunch. We ordered a few items as we wanted to try a few things. Sign on the window says short staff, but the service was great and food came out quick. The place is a good size and we came during lunch hours on a Tuesday so it wasn't as busy. All our food came out tasting hot, fresh and delicious. Inside had multiple fans going so it was fresh. Will be coming back again when in this area! read more

(from Feb 2024) Haven't had much Thai food as we usually go for Indian, but couldn't find anything close for Indian so gave this a try and were pleasantly surprised! Went during lunch, but the server recommended the dinner plates as more is provided than the lunch menu. Glad we ordered off the dinner side as we had enough for lunch, later dinner at home (made extra rice), and at least enough for one more lunch today! Both dishes were like a soup so lots of flavorful liquid to mix with rice. I ordered Green Curry with Avocado with chicken, which was creamy and very flavorful, but a little spicy (3/5). My daughter had PIneapple curry with beef which had a nice sweetness to it and wasn't as spicy. Definitely will be back to try something else next time we are in Hanford. read more

We walked in and waited a few minutes before we were greeted. We were told we could sit anywhere. It was pretty full, but there were two empty tables in the middle. We sat down and ordered drinks which came out pretty quickly. They don't have any kids cups or a kid specific menu so they gave us a to go cup for the kids to use. I loved how cute the thai tea came out and that the glass had a handle. I just thought it was a cute touch. The tea was so delicious and sweet. It was the first time I have tried it and literally think about it all the time now it was so good. We ordered chicken Satay, chicken egg rolls, and avocado fresh rolls and they were all so full of flavor. The sauces they came with matched perfectly and didn't over power the flavor of the food, but complemented it. The waitress admitted it was her first day, but was so accommodating and didn't use it as an excuse to brush off our questions, but she let us know she wasn't sure then she'd go ask and let us know. The entire experience was wonderful! They had lots of options so it was hard to make a decision. Can't wait to try more of their menu and get another thai tea! read more
