Combo B. Chow mein, orange chicken and mushroom chicken.
    Vanessa L.

I'm split between 3 and 4 stars. I went with 4 because of the quantity of food for the price. I grew up with really good and authentic Chinese food. But sometimes the craving for good ol' Americanized Chinese fast food kicks in. This fulfilled that craving. I got Combo B - all chow mein with orange chicken and mushroom chicken. The amount of food you get for about $12 is crazy. They kept piling on! The chow mein, while not totally authentic, was the mall style chow mein I was craving. Orange chicken wasn't super spicy which I appreciate. The mushroom chicken was also good. Food overall was a little salty but I didn't get a msg reaction (thank you!) I don't think I'll be a regular but if that craving kicks in again, I'll come here for sure.

OMG this place hits the spot. Got combo B two entrees and half & half. Check out my video to see how much food you get. I also got egg rolls, one veggie & one chicken. I think the veggie tastes much better. Service was quick & polite. Ambiance was clean and empty. Soon traffic picked up.

First time visiting and I'm sad to say my last. I always get gas at Costco and so I decided to go during my lunch break since I was in the area. Upon arrival there was a pretty long line which excited me. I ordered a bowl with chow mein and the coconut shrimp. Food was fresh and hot when I unpacked it. Chow Mein was weirdly starchy with hardly any flavor. The Shrimp were hot but also cold. I liked the flavor but it just wasn't giving. I honestly took about 4 bites and just couldn't carry on. To be fair I only ordered two things. I knew this was a quick counter but I had higher expectations...

This place is so yummy and you get so much food! The service is quick and nice! I usually place my order in on DoorDash for pick up and it's usually ready within 10mins and it's nice and hot! The place is pretty small with some seating available for dine-in but I feel like many do it to-go. It's served close to like Panda Express, lunch-line style. Overall delicious food for a fantastic price

Best bang for your buck! PORTIONS ARE HUGE and the prices are good. We both ordered combo meals. They have a similar set up like Panda Express with all the noodles, fried rice and entrees out to go. They also offer entrees they'll make fresh and catering for trays. This is the best part, though. The lady grabbed the chowmein noodles and packed the to-go plate and then SHOOK IT! She shook it to stuff it to the bottom to make room for the entrees! I was shooketh. When we opened our to go boxes, the food was shaped like the container, lol. Taste was good! Honey says the Kung Pao chicken had a nice kick. The side vegetables were seasoned good - it was light and flavorful! Best I've had in awhile. Their chowmein is thicker and bouncier. I prefer my noodles to have a wok char but this wasn't the case for their chowmein. It was still good though! My order fed me for like 3-4 meals. Honey can eat and he ate it in 1.5 meals, lol. It was a big surprise for us. They had a steady flow of customers too after us. This spot made me super nostalgic of life before inflation and when I was younger and would frequent these type of Chinese to go spots. Now they're hard to find. Check this place out after your Costco run or gas fill up! We would def return!

pan pan wok is the real deal. I'm so glad when I found them because the only other place like this in fresno is the one downtown and that one is just... don't go there. you get a mountain of hot, delicious food for an unbeatable price. you don't really have to interact with the staff anymore than you want to. the place is clean albeit a bit small. they have a pretty good set of offerings as well. I tried the egg drop soup and it was great. I've wanted to try other options in the area, but I keep ending up back here.

Chinese food is my go to if I want a "quick fix" to curb my hunger while on a budget. Two or three combo item plates of either rice or chow mein are the common theme when placing an order. My son who frequents Pan Pan but at the SoCal locations advised me to give it a shot. Service: The service here is standard meaning what you would experience in other chinese restaurants is similiar to what you'll experience here: Tell them what you want, they will fulfill your order then you pay and leave; there's no small talk. 4 of 5 stars Food/Offering: Here is where I was pleasantly surprised. Aside from it being similiar to a competitor with the intials "P.E.", the difference here and the competitor is that Pan Pan's portions are HUGE. They will stack your choice of food in a mound, almost twice the portions of the leading competitor. I think "stacking" the food is their business practice as my son did mention that it's comparable on how they operate at the SoCal locations. As far as recommendations go, I would go with the Coconut Shrimp, Black Pepper Beef and either the Mushroom or Black Pepper Chicken and I always opt for their noodles. There are other choices as well like Orange Chicken, Beef Broc among others but the three I mentioned are the best tasting in my opinion. 5 of 5 stars Overall: This place is "P.E" on steroids. Portions are "yuge" and the pricing is waaay better (aka cheaper) than the leading competitor: $10.69 for a 2 item and $12.39 for a 3 item (as of July 2025) - really can't beat that. This location (next to Home Depot/Costco) has been busy during my last two visits but the line does move fast. The picture included in the review are (2) 2 item plates: Coconut Shrimp/Black Pepper Chicken and Black Pepper Beef/Teriyaki Chicken

First impressions of location was small and only 1 person working the counter. They were busy on the phone so I didn't get greeted. Definitely not the most welcoming or friendliest when helping with my order. I ordered a plate with orange chicken and spicy chicken with chow mein. The quantity of food was great definitely load up the plates. The quality was also good I liked the flavor of chicken and noodles. Overall great lunch and price was adorable.

HUGE portions for the price , I got the combo B which is 2 sides chow mein and fried rice and 2 entrees , orange chicken and spicy chicken, both good. This restaurant is served "panda express " style with a buffet line and you point to what you want. Food is more authentic of course and the portion can easy feed 2-3 people really. Although this place was pretty busy the line moved fast and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Had enough for dinner AND lunch tomorrow.

The family dinner comes with a bowl of sizzling rice soup, An egg roll a pot sticker and foil wrapped chicken. My entree was crispy beef and my husband's entree was Kung pao chicken. Start off the soup was very flavorful, Definitely not your ordinary soup that you would find in the most places to start. The egg roll was a straight veggie roll but it was crispy and flavorful. The pot sticker was probably one of the best I've had in town, The wrapper was not too thick, Silky, Slightly crispy, And the filling was light and delicious not heavy. The Foil wrapped chicken Was different than any other place in that it was lighter and not overburdened with a salty sauce. As far as the entrees, My crispy beef was amazing, So crispy, With a delicious sauce. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so tasty, Everything was fresh and the chicken was not dry. The only downside to our entrees was that they were listed as spicy, But I think you have to ask for really spicy if you look like you can't handle it or something I don't know it just wasn't spicy at all. But we will definitely return and maybe ask for real spicy next time LOL.

The day of pick up was NYE 5pm my husband was the one who picked up my order under my name. He arrived promptly at 5pm and said the food wasn't ready 5mins after 5pm he said he was about to leave. Upon arrival the food was still piping hot, it smelled AMAZING and they gave sooooo much food!!! It was nearly packed in trays with foil in a box and the food was piled high. I did notice that the veggie chow mein I had ordered was a combo-chicken, beef, shrimp and veggie, no biggie!!! But the food was delicious as always!!! There was so much leftovers. I would definitely use them again for my catering needs.

There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.

The appetizer with egg rolls and chicken wings was really good. We liked the pork fried rice. The pork chow mein had tons of bean sprouts on top of the noodles. Way more bean sprouts (which we don't care for) than pan fried noodles. I didn't really care for the orange chicken. The meat was a bit dry and the sauce was a bit too mild for my taste.
